Fury as mansion popular for hosting kids' parties secretly transformed into £200 a head SEX CLUB for swingers

The Sun03-05-2025
A MANSION popular for hosting kids' parties in a leafy residential area was transformed into a sex club.
Parents were outraged when 150 revellers flocked to Belair House for a 'secret' event.
It came after videos emerged of members of elite orgy club Heaven Circle reportedly romping at the Georgian property.
Dress code for the £200-a-head event at the Grade II-listed home was black tie for men, 'black lingerie, fetish attire and cloaks' for women.
The venue, in Dulwich, South London, is 200 yards from top public school Dulwich College.
One mum said: 'I associate it as a popular place for kids' parties, not for swingers.
'It feels wrong that you could be hosting a five-year-old's party with kids' entertainment a few days after a load of swingers have been having a wholly different kind of entertainment.'
Another added: 'I hope it got a good clean.'
She said: 'I can't believe that the same venue can be used for sex parties and family events.'
Privately-owned Belair House said: 'We take our position in the community seriously.
'We're known for hosting lawful and professional private functions.'

JD Vance's holiday brings ‘circus' of road closures and police patrols to sleepy Cotswolds village

Residents nearby a Grade II-listed country manor hosting JD Vance have described the major disruption his holiday has brought to their usually sleepy villages. After a busy few months in office, the US vice president is spending his summer holidays in the hamlet of Dean, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. But residents in the vicinity of the 6-acre site have described roadblocks and police door knocks in recent days, as security in the area reaches high alert. Road closures, sniffer dogs, police and a number of blacked out cars have all been spotted in the area, a marked difference to the usual calm and quaint atmosphere of a Cotswold country retreat. Though the village is no stranger to high-profile faces, with it being the home to former prime minister David Cameron, the level of security has prompted the owners of the manor to apologise to locals 'for the circus'. One woman told The Times the village had seen 'one blinking pantomime after the other' and said: 'We are used to the great and good here. Before David Cameron moved in we had Douglas Hurd and he was lovely. We have Ben Kingsley in Spelsbury and we see him in the woods walking his dog, but to close off the roads is ridiculous.' The woman told the paper she and a friend had been stopped by police blocking a footpath while walking through the area, and said: 'I told the police 'we are two old ladies, we are hardly terrorists'.' Another resident, a retired travel agent, told The Observer that though locals were 'used to seeing police around,' because of the former prime minister, they had seen 'nothing like this. She said: 'It makes it hard to get about.' Another local told the paper police had been going door-to-door asking for personal details of residents and social media accounts. He said: 'I know several people refused. We asked them if they were protecting us, or Vance. At least they were honest and said it is for him and that it will all be passed on to the American security people.' A workman described there being a 'weird atmosphere' in the area: 'I've done a lot of jobs here and never seen it like this.' The vice president is visiting the area with his wife Usha and children Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel. They are renting the luxurious home from of its owners Johnny and Pippa Hornby, who bought the property in 2017 and have since received plaudits in Tatler for having transformed its Edwardian garden into a 'waterworld' with an impressive swimming pool. In a message seen by The Telegraph, Ms Hornby told neighbours she was 'so sorry for the circus that is there for the next few days', and that she hoped it would not be 'too disruptive'. During his stay, Mr Vance can enjoy the two cellars, tennis court, rose garden, gym and Georgian orangery all set within the six-acres of land the house sits on. The 18th-century home offers pre-arranged visits to its gardens, which are set behind stone walls with 'an abundant and varied selection of climbing/rambling roses, clematis and hydrangeas'. The National Garden Scheme website says: ''The formal gardens include complex yew hedging and herbaceous borders, kitchen and cutting garden, areas of wildflower meadow, an orchard and water gardens make up areas around the house.' His private family holiday comes after an informal meeting with foreign secretary David Lammy in Kent on Friday, which saw the pair look friendly as they went fishing. The opening of Hampton Court Palace was also delayed on Sunday morning, as Mr Vance enjoyed a private tour of the royal residence.

Georgian activist Giorgi Akhobadze released

Georgian activist Giorgi Akhobadze released Tbilisi City Court judge Romeo Tkeshelashvili acquitted Giorgi Akhobadze, a doctor and participant in pro-European protests who had previously faced drug-related charges. He was released from the courtroom immediately following the verdict. Akhobadze was arrested on 7 December 2024 while returning home from a protest. He had been charged under Article 260, Part 6 of the Criminal Code — illegal acquisition and possession of a large quantity of narcotic substances. 'I want to thank the media for their support and detailed coverage of my case. I'll probably be in shock once I get home,' Akhobadze told supporters gathered in the court courtyard. 'The first thing I felt was gratitude. I can't believe I'm here right now. Thank you for standing by me. I love you all very much. Keep fighting — to the end!' At the previous hearing, Giorgi Akhobadze delivered his closing statement. According to both his testimony and the defence, the drugs had been planted by law enforcement officers, and the prosecution's evidence was based on fabricated claims. 'They didn't carry out a drug test because they knew I don't use drugs,' Akhobadze said. 'If I had actually touched the [planted] item, it would have contained my DNA — the evidence was falsified.' Akhobadze's lawyer argued that the arrest warrant and police report were unlawful, and that no video evidence had been presented in the case. Initially, the case was heard for more than four months by Judge Mikheil Jinjolia, but he was later replaced by Romeo Tkeshelashvili. Georgian activist Giorgi Akhobadze released News from Georgia

Edinburgh Fringe performer claims youths branded him a 'lady boy' during attack

Eddie Jen claims the male youths "beat him on the head", ripped off his bow and poured their drinks on him. An Edinburgh Fringe performer has claimed he was called a 'lady boy' by youths who allegedly attacked him on the Royal Mile. ‌ Eddie Jen, who uses he/she pronouns, is performing his show 'Seeking a PenPal For the End of the World' to the festival this year. ‌ Before it starts he was out handing out flyers but says he was accosted by a gang of thugs on Tuesday, July 29, reports Edinburgh Live. ‌ Eddie claims the male youths "beat him on the head", ripped off his bow and poured their drinks on him. Speaking out since the incident, Eddie said "it all happened so quickly". He added: "I was just so excited and happy to be in Edinburgh and to start with, I got great reactions. The youngsters aren't even a minority and they aren't speaking for everyone. ‌ "It all happened so quickly, they just came up to me and started saying 'are you a lady boy?' and 'are you a boy or a girl?' "I remained polite but as I went back to my corner to continue flyering, they hit my head, ripped off my bow and poured their drinks over me. It all happened within two minutes. ‌ "I was honestly in shock but I am so glad I was able to film it all and get people talking about this." The performer from San Francisco said she isn't letting the incident dampen her time in Edinburgh. Eddie has met a lot of kind people in the capital - including one man who assisted after the incident. She added: "There was one kind Scottish gentleman who came up to me to see if I was okay. ‌ "I really am an optimist and I am able to get the full Fringe experience right now. I mean so far, I have been harassed and done shows with no attendance so it seems I am getting everything bad out the way in the first week. "Last year I came to the Fringe to see if I was up to par and I absolutely loved it - the city is magical, there really is something about it. "I went out flyering again yesterday, I put on the same outfit and I kept going. I am just so excited to be here." ‌ Getting over 200,000 views, the clip has since gone viral and many people have offered their support to the performer. The video was captioned: "I was attacked in drag at Edinburgh Fringe 2025. It's my first solo show. "I was so excited to flyer and find an audience and then a group of young men began harassing me. They beat me on the head, ripped off my bow and poured their drinks on me." ‌ Almost 1000 comments have come in after the short clip was posted online. One person said: "Why is it always teenagers? Where are their parents? "I'm terrified of teenage boys in Edinburgh, they're just looking for trouble." A second said: "That's so bad a member of the public has to explain this is not how Scotland is and excusing their bad behaviour." ‌ "I'm so sorry this happened to you. I live in Edinburgh and unfortunately this type of stuff happens a lot. It's horrible but not all teenagers are like that", a third commented. Eddie's show started yesterday and will run at Just The Tonic at the Caves at 1.05pm until August 24. A description of the show reads: "After Trump 1.0's mob breached the US capitol to destroy democracy on January 6th, 2021, an immigrant drag queen attorney from San Francisco began writing to a retired, White, Republican woman in Bountiful, Utah – his high school English teacher from thirty years ago. "What happens when the political discussions stop and the personal begins? Can you really be friends with your former teacher? An interactive performance, with reading and writing prompts. We tell the story of our lives. For everyone who remembers their English teachers most fondly. You can find out more about Eddie's show here.
