Giant Hungarian Horntail dragon stuns onlookers at it roars through London
The 25-foot animatronic dragon, which weighs 1.3 tonnes, appeared captured as it made its way past Westminster Bridge, the Houses of Parliament and King's Cross Station.
The theatrical stunt was staged to mark the launch of Triwizard Tournament – Making of Champions, a new feature at Warner Bros Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the cinematic release of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire.
The Hungarian Horntail featured in the fourth Harry Potter novel and film, where Harry battles the beast in the first task of the Triwizard Tournament.

The fictional dragon roared and bared its teeth past London landmarks before making its way to the tourist attraction in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.
Harry Potter filmmaker and animatronic designer, Joe Scott, designed the dragon, replicating the creature in the film, complete with moving head, mouth and eyes, and sound effects.
The recreation of the famous dragon was carefully crafted over 750 hours, using materials that included 25kg of fibreglass.
The team first created a series of detailed sketches and CGI mock-ups, before sculptors, carpenters and scenic artists built the dragon's head, which was 3D printed using a scan of the original Hungarian Horntail from the film.
A total of 119 spikes were individually applied to decorate the dragon's head and tail, which took 265 hours, whilst 38 razor-sharp teeth were 3D printed in resin to create bite in the creature's animatronic mouth.

'Revisiting the creation of the Hungarian Horntail 20 years on from Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire has been magical,' said Mr Scott.
'Creating the dragons for the Triwizard Tournament was no mean feat, with engineers, animatronics, designers and the special effects teams all working together to bring them to life.
'It's fantastic to see the craftsmanship that went into this on display at the new feature – inspiring visitors with the magic of our filmmaking secrets.'
The Triwizard Tournament – Making of Champions, which will run from May 15 to September 8, at Warner Bros Studio Tour London features behind-the-scenes secrets and digital recreations from the fourth film.
Further additions include Mad Eye Moody's arrival in the Great Hall and wizarding journalist Rita Skeeter, best known for her poison pen articles, will be welcomed to the Studio Tour along with her self-writing quill.

Back in 2020, when JK first went public with her gender critical views, both Daniel and Emma issued statements of support for the trans community and have reiterated their positions several times since. "Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo [Rowling] or I," Daniel wrote in response to Rowling's tweet in June 2020. Actors who have starred in JK Rowling adaptations have signed an open letter standing "in solidarity" with members of the LGBT+ community "impacted" by the recent Supreme Court ruling on gender. Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne, who led the Fantastic Beasts films, and Katie Leung, who played Cho Chang in the Harry Potter film series, are among the stars who have signed the open letter addressed to film and TV industry bodies, encouraging them to support the trans community. Ghosts actress Charlotte Ritchie, who appeared as a student in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire, and Breeders star Daisy Haggard, who voiced the Ministry Of Magic lift in the Harry Potter films, also signed the letter. Another signatory was Bridgerton actress Bessie Carter, the daughter of Dame Imelda Staunton, who played Dolores Umbridge in the popular films about witchcraft and wizardry.

Harry Potter star Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the film series, has been slammed by fans for his response to a question about J.K. Rowling's trans views Harry Potter enthusiasts were left disappointed by Tom Felton's remarks regarding J. K. Rowling's controversial views on transgender issues. The actor, famed for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy, was at the 78th Annual Tony Awards in New York City's Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 8. Recently confirmed to return as Draco Malfoy in the Broadway rendition of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Felton faced questions from Variety on the red carpet about whether the furore over J.K. Rowling's "transphobic" comments had affected him or his work, reports the Mirror US. "No, I can't say it does, I'm not really that attuned to it," Tom responded. "The only thing that I always remind myself is that I've been lucky enough to travel the world. Here I am in New York, and I have not seen anything bring the world together more than Potter. And she's responsible, so I'm incredibly grateful." His response did not sit well with fans, who voiced their discontent on X, previously known as Twitter, where a clip of his interview was shared. One user criticised his perspective as "What a privileged straight white man take." Another expressed their loss of respect, stating, "Tom felton..... you've lost any respect you've ever had from me." A third comment translated his words as indifference to the impact on the trans community: "Translation: I do not have anyone close to me who is trans. And since it doesn't affect me personally, it doesn't matter. Nothing has brought the world more together than Potter? She has made the world less safe for an entire group of people. Several actors from the Harry Potter series, including those who played the main trio (Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley), publicly disagreed with J. K. Rowling's views. Daniel Radcliffe stated in part of his response that "transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I." He apologised profoundly to fans who "feel that their experience of the books has been tarnished or diminished" as a result of J. K.'s remarks. Emma Watson shared her support on Twitter, stating, "Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned or told they aren't who they say they are." She continued by expressing her solidarity with her trans followers: "I want my trans followers to know that I and so many other people around the world see you, respect you and love you for who you are." Rupert Grint voiced his stance in The Times, declaring, "Trans women are women. Trans men are men. We should all be entitled to live with love and without judgment. I firmly stand with the trans community and echo the sentiments expressed by many of my peers." Several more Harry Potter actors, including Eddie Redmayne, David Tennant, and Katie Leung, have publicly disagreed with the acclaimed British author.
