Perfect for fancy dinner parties or quick weeknight meals
Having a stylish but durable dinner set is essential for many homes. All too often, a perfect matching set is ruined by a dropped plate or a smashed bowl, ruining a dinner party's aesthetic by needing to use mismatched crockery.
However, getting a new set doesn't need to break the bank. Now, shoppers can get a gorgeous stoneware 24 Piece Dinner Set for 6 people from Amazon for £54.95 down from £149.95.
The dinner set comes in grey and is described as being timeless, versatile and stylish. The tableware set is for up to six people - perfect for family meal times or hosting a dinner for friends, and comes with six dinner plates, six breakfast plates, six deep plates and six bowls.
The bowl and plate set is made of solid stoneware with high-quality fired, glazed and scratch-resistant inner surface which can take away shoppers fears of the set getting chipped or broken. Not only is the set completely microwaveable, it is also dishwasher safe.
Perhaps this set isn't for everyone and they would like some alternative options. There's the Scandi Home 12 piece Oslo Blue Reactive Glaze Ceramic Tableware set for £75 from Debenhams which includes four dinner plates, four side plates and four bowls, or alternatively the 12 Piece Stone Kya Dinnerware Dinner Set for £60 from Next which includes four dinner plates, four sided plates and four bowls, featuring a glossy, off-white glaze on a spun embossed texture.
The Amazon option, however, has been rated extremely high with a 4.3 out of 5 star rating from 3,920 reviews on the website. One shopper said: ' Elegant design: The dark grey stoneware is sleek and modern, adding a touch of sophistication to the dining table. The colour is neutral yet striking, making it easy to pair with different table settings.'
Another said: 'Strong and sturdy. great quality and design. Perfect sizes and complete set. For the price it's a bargain.'
'Nice quality, holds a large volume of liquid and good value for money,' said another.
Others shared opposing views as one shopper wrote: 'Lovely set of dinnerware, unfortunately one dinner plate cracked, hopefully just be one though the set is not complete.'
However, with over 60% off a high quality and stylish 24 Piece Dinner Set for 6 people, it sounds like a steal for shoppers.

Amazon shoppers ditch pressure washers for £25 'game changer' patio cleaner

Amazon shoppers ditch pressure washers for £25 'game changer' patio cleaner Get ahead with patios, driveways, and decking for summer No scrubbing is required and the patio cleaner can be left to work its magic (Image: Getty Images ) Many of us are eager to refresh our outdoor spaces, not just lush lawns and vibrant flower beds but also commonly overlooked areas like patios, driveways, and decks. Outdoor surfaces such as concrete, brick, and tile can quickly become unsightly due to mould, lichen, or algae. While robust jet washers can expel stubborn marks, they come with a hefty price tag. Now Amazon users say claim they've found an affordable £25 alternative that packs a punch. Termed a real "game changer", the Wet and Forget outdoor cleaner has garnered upwards of 25,000 Amazon testimonials. With a 25% discount, the solution is currently on offer for £25.85 for a five-litre jug, sufficient to treat an impressive 300m2. The application is straightforward: apply and let nature take over, reports the Liverpool Echo. Drench the area in need with the product and then sit back as it gets down to business. Depending on the level of cleanliness you want, you might wait a day or more before washing it off with a hose or simply waiting for rainfall to assist in the cleansing process. The Wet and Forget concoction can be diluted with water at a ratio of one part solution to five parts water, creating 30 litres enough to blanket between 100-300m2. And as it's bleach-free, so it won't harm any surface it touches. Amazon's alternative, the Spear and Jackson spray and leave, is also winning fans with its proven track record of tackling tough grime on patios and driveways. Costing £15.99 for a five-litre bottle, consumers commend its "an amazing patio cleaner" qualities and how it "really works!" For those who favour a more traditional approach, Wowcher offers an electric weed sweeper at a discounted price of £34.99, downsized from £59.99. Boasting a robust 140W motor, running it over your patio should help dismiss unwanted weeds, moss, and dirt with ease. Shoppers have been praising how "powerful" the product is (Image: (Image: Amazon) ) The Wet and Forget solution has garnered over 25,000 Amazon reviews, with a 4.4-star rating out of five. One customer shared their positive experience saying: "We have a concrete driveway mostly in the shade all day and yes it is a green Petri dish for algae used wet and forget and hey it's a miracle no more Green even 10 months on! Can't recommend this too much." Another elated shopper detailed: "It really does what it says - dilute, apply to patio slabs (I use a watering can), leave it and within 24 hours all the black and lichen etc have disappeared. No need to reapply for months. So easy and so much better than a pressure washer. Can't recommend enough." Further praise came from another review: "If anyone is considering blasting their pavers to get them clean, DON'T! Just buy this product." However, one customer's experience contrasted, suggesting limited success: "Used on paving stones around our house. After many months, I have to say that it has been only mildly successful. May be more effective on surfaces that are only mildly dirty." This product is a game changer! Our patio, steps and walls look great."

It comes after a children's swimming float was also urgently recalled over fears it could cause serious injury or even drowning. However, the product design failed to include a mechanism to prevent it becoming over-pressurised. Smyths have also pulled a magic tricks box from the shelves after a chocking hazard saw it fail to meet safety requirements.

‘I've been very impressed with my powerful leaf blower and there's a way to get it for £34'

It's June, the sun is (sort of) shining and we're all keen to spend more time outdoors. Not least my young son, Teddy, who's rapidly gone from crawling to charging around and virtually sprinting in what feels like a couple of weeks. As such, I needed to sort my garden out, and replaced a muddy corner that doesn't get much sunlight with a fenced off play area. All great, problem solved, right? Well not quite. For all the play area is great, one problem quickly arose - on a windy day the fencing basically acts as a pen for gathering what feels like every leaf in the neighbourhood. Naturally, as a ten-month-old, Ted has to put anything he picks up straight in his mouth, so I was keen to find an easy solution to the leaf problem. I already had a corded leaf blower that is pretty powerful and great when it comes to clearing away things like hedge and grass cuttings. The trouble is, it's a bit of a faff setting it up, as I have to get it out of the garage and sort out an extension lead - not the sort of thing you want to be doing every day. Looking for a simpler and quicker solution for clearing leaves and general debris chucked around via the wind, I turned to the McGregor Cordless Garden Leaf Blower, picking it up from Argos for £50. I've since discovered that there's a way to get it even cheaper for £34.38 by utilising TopCashback, more on how to do that below. And I have to say I've been really impressed. The fact it's cordless and battery powered means it's so easy to just quickly get out of the cupboard to clear the play area in a couple of minutes. It's not as powerful as my corded version, but it's more than capable of rapidly shifting the leaves and tidying it all up. I've found it extremely simple to use, you just choose the power setting you require from one to six (obviously I always just stick it on the highest setting), press the button and you're good to go. It boasts really decent power and is so convenient when it comes to giving the garden a quick tidy up. At first, I found my hand was starting to ache slightly after pressing the button for a few minutes, only to discover it has the function to lock the button on so you don't have to keep it pressed down. My only slight annoyance is that the battery doesn't last ages. It's more than enough to send the debris lying around the garden blasting off into oblivion, but if you're planning to use it for a long time you might be better going for a corded option like the Einhell Leaf Blower Vacuum priced at £51.95 at B&Q. That model comes with a vacuum function and a catch bag, so will be preferable for gardeners wanting to catch the leaves and dispose of them. It's worth noting that the three reviews for that product are mixed, with two four star and one three star rating. Buyers noted it 'does the job', though they said it was a 'little bit heavy after a while'. For those who like the reassurance of a big-name brand, Amazon stock's Dewalt's 18V XR Compact Blower, though that's a bit pricier at £71.94. It's specifically designed to be nice and lightweight, so is worth a look for anyone concerned about that. How to get the Argos leaf blower for £34
