Adventure Reef Water Park announced on its website that it will not be open today or Sunday due to projected low temperatures.

The region saw temperatures in the low to mid-40s this morning. Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn said highs will reach the upper 60s today and tomorrow.
The City of Kettering Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Department said on social media that its opening is now scheduled for Monday.
'As a reminder, the water park will not open if there is a storm or the temperature is not expected to hit 70 degrees,' the park said. 'We apologize for any inconvenience. '
The indoor pool will hold its regular schedule.

CNN has reached out to the NBA for comment on the situation. The Pacers are playing for a championship for the first time since 2000, when the team lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the franchise's one and only NBA Finals appearance. The Pacers' path to the Finals included victories over the Milwaukee Bucks, the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers, and a six-game defeat of the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Thunder meanwhile are appearing in their first NBA Finals since 2012, where they lost to the Miami Heat. The franchise's only NBA championship came in 1979, when the team was known as the Seattle SuperSonics. The Western Conference's No. 1 seed, the Thunder, advanced to the Finals with a sweep against the Memphis Grizzlies, a seven-game epic against the Denver Nuggets, and most recently a five-game win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Fire burns large home in Oakland Hills, destroys portion of building
A fire in the Oakland Hills Tuesday afternoon left a home with significant damage, the Fire Department said. In a social media post, the department said the two-alarm fire burned a home on Skyline Boulevard just north of Hansom Drive and about a half mile south of Fire Station 21. The fire started in the garage of the home, listed on Redfin as a 3,022 square-foot estate, and spread to the main house, but firefighters were able to contain it to just the one house, the post said. Update 1) Fire crews have contained this 2 alarm incident in the 13000 block of Skyline to the structure of origin but this is still an active fire incident. Traffic should avoid Skyline Blvd b/w Parkridge Dr and Keller Rd. Firefighters were atop the main house, cutting holes in the roof to let out smoke and heat. Some three dozen firefighters responded to the fire. There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known. Traffic along Skyline Boulevard between Parkridge Drive and Keller Road was affected during the firefight and mop-up efforts.

Pacers' flight to OKC diverted to Tulsa due to tornado warning
OKLAHOMA CITY — The Indiana Pacers' first trip to the NBA Finals in 25 years took a short detour Tuesday when the team's chartered airplane was diverted to Tulsa due to a tornado warning in the vicinity of Oklahoma City's Will Rogers International Airport, a team source told The Athletic. The Pacers, who will play the Thunder in Game 1 on Thursday, landed safely in Tulsa, about 110 miles from Oklahoma City, after a tornado tore through the area at about 5 p.m. local time. Advertisement It was only a short delay — the Pacers were taxiing to leave Tulsa at 5:45 p.m. Severe thunderstorms are forecast for Oklahoma City for the rest of Tuesday evening, complicating travel for hundreds of media and vendors heading here for the finals. Planes approaching Will Rogers just before the storm hit had to fly around towering cumulus clouds and strong winds, with predictable turbulence felt by passengers as the aircraft dipped and ducked to find safer air. The airport briefly lost power as the storm approached and outbound flights were grounded for about an hour. The Associated Press reported that at least one tornado was spotted near the University of Oklahoma, about 23 miles south of Oklahoma City, on Tuesday afternoon. But it was not known if the tornado touched down or caused damage. On Saturday, the Pacers beat the New York Knicks in Game 6 to win their first Eastern Conference championship since 2000.
