Adorable Cat's Grumpy Grievances With His Animal Siblings Have Us in Stitches
Many cat parents will likely tell you that their feline children are some very particular individuals. Now, don't get us wrong, we are not taking on cats in any way, shape, or form. We are simply commenting on their proclivity for grumpiness.
The tabby cat, Mr. Milo, for example, is very discerning about the type of behavior that he deems acceptable from his animal siblings. As this video shows, Mr. Milo did not approve of most of what they do.
In his opinion, he is 'surrounded by a bunch of buffoons,' and even made a video about it to air his grievances about the comings and goings of the other animals in his house.
Mr. Milo's first grievance is against his rambunctious Golden Retriever sibling, Beckham. The problem is that, like many North American house sloths, Beckham cannot resist playing with his squeaky toy nonstop.
All of the incessant squeaking sounds like nails screeching across the chalkboard to Mr. Milo's sensitive feline ears.
But don't make the mistake of thinking that this tabby cat only takes issue with canine buffoonery. No, Mr. Milo doesn't give a pass to feline shenanigans either.
He is particularly perceived with his feline sister, Maisie, who won't stop fighting the rug for reasons that are 'unbeknownst' to him. Mr. Milo simply could not be 'more disappointed with her foolish behavior.'
As for his other feline sister, a black cat named Poppy, whose big, blank eyes seem to indicate that she has trouble thinking, Mr. Milo is no more sympathetic. The grumpy cat takes issue with the way Poppy stares 'into the abyss while her only brain cell sparks like a faulty wire.' Mr. Milo's next grievance was reserved for Beckham once again.
This time, his dopey Golden Retriever sibling had 'decided to commit unspeakable acts where he violated his own bedding.' And this was after 'torturing' the household with his squeaky toy for over an hour.
Mr. Milo is so displeased with this raucous, raunchy display that he declared he would 'file another grievance with HR.'
Later, when Mr. Milo attempted to get away from all the nonsense ruining his household, Poppy followed him and 'fired up her only brain cell,' just so she could ruin his 'peace.'
To conclude this video, Mr. Milo stated that his household was nothing more than an utter 'disgrace.'
But, it's not just his feline siblings that Mr. Milo takes issue with; he also has plenty of grievances against his human parents. In this other video, he highlights all the ways that 'humans may be toxic.'
From staying up past his bedtime, to being two minutes late to feed him, and leaving the house for the day to go to work, even though their only real job is to take care of his every whim, Mr. Milo has some very strong opinions about what both human and animal are allowed to do around him.

Stockton city manager investigates $50,000 payment tied to "Wild 'n Out" event
The Stockton City Manager's Office announced Tuesday that an investigation has been launched into a $50,000 payment made months ago. This was allegedly to prevent the cancellation of a comedy show that Vice Mayor Jason Lee was involved with. The "Wild 'n Out" comedy show happened in May at the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton. Lee is friends with some of the performers and posted a video of him participating in the event on his Facebook page. The city manager says it has recently come to light that $50,000 from the city's risk mitigation fund was used in connection with the event without his knowledge or approval. Lee is also calling for an independent, outside investigation into all of this, calling it a politically motivated retaliation. He believes this is all in response to his own investigation into budget and hiring concerns by the city manager's office. He discussed this during Monday's Audit Committee meeting. "This whole week has been a political witch hunt to prove somehow that the vice mayor conspired with city staff to go in the bank accounts to give $50,000 to a brand that lost $175,000 on top of the $50,000 in an approved fund that they've used in the past," Lee said in the meeting. "It was also an opportunity to silence the voice of staff who are bringing forward serious concerns with respect to internal controls that are out of control." Mayor Christina Fugazi also commented on his investigation into the city manager's office. "An outside investigator will be looking into money that was authorized to be spent that maybe shouldn't have, or I'm not quite sure. I only say that because it didn't go through the city manager, and all of that kind of stuff should be going through the city manager," Mayor Fugazi said. "Anything that has to do with disbursement of funds, the city manager should know about." Lee also says the Audit Committee reviewed the city's partnership with ASM Global, the event promoter of "Wild 'n Out," created by Nick Cannon. Lee says the committee's recommendation for an outside investigation will go before the city council immediately. The interim city manager says his investigation will look into whether any city policies or procedures were bypassed and if any lines were crossed.

Why Donald Trump is talking about actress Sydney Sweeney
President Donald Trump has praised actress Sydney Sweeney in the wake of a social media backlash against an advertisement she features in. "Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the HOTTEST ad out there," he wrote in a Truth Social post on Monday. "Go get 'em Sydney!" The Emmy-nominated actress, who starred in Euphoria and The White Lotus, appears in a jeans advertisement for American Eagle where she says: "Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour. My jeans are blue." Some criticised the 27-year-old blue-eyed star's wordplay in the commercial, which sparked a debate over race and beauty standards. American Eagle has defended the advert, saying it is purely referring to the company's denim jeans. What is the controversy? American Eagle released the advertising campaign with Sweeney on 23 July. The slogan "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans" appeared on television, social media and on the outside of storefronts. Almost instantly, it received pushback from some on social media. They criticised the advert's genes pun - including one line which said the blonde-haired, blue-eyed actress "has great jeans" - as echoing rhetoric associated with eugenics, the discredited belief that humanity could be improved through selective breeding. Others, however, backed Sweeney and described the outrage as overblown. Reports later surfaced that Sweeney is a registered Republican in Florida. Shortly after, Trump made comments about the row and expressed his support for the actress, whom he described as a "registered Republican". Sweeney, meanwhile, has not commented on the backlash or confirmed her political affiliation. What has American Eagle said? The company said the campaign "is and always was about the jeans". "Her jeans. Her story," American Eagle said. "We'll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way." Since Trump began speaking about the advertisement on Monday, the company's stock has skyrocketed and was up by as much as 20%. Allen Adamson, co-founder of marketing consultancy Metaforce, said American Eagle "nailed" the ad. "It is exponentially harder than it was years ago," he told the BBC. "Success in marketing today is to get consumers sharing [advertisements] on social." But they have to be "extraordinary" for people to share them, "whether that's extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad," he said. He added that the social media buzz American Eagle is getting from the advertisement is worth 10 or 20 times what the company spent on making it. Is Sweeney a registered Republican? Sweeney has been registered as a Republican in the state of Florida since 2024, records show. But she has not spoken out about politics. She made headlines in 2023 when videos and images from her mother's birthday party were shared online and showed some attendees in Make America Great Again hats. Sweeney responded and said people should "stop making assumptions" and turning the "innocent celebration" into an "absurd political statement." Months later, she was asked about it in an interview: "Honestly, I feel like nothing I say can help the conversation," she told GQ. "It's been turning into a wildfire, and nothing I can say will take it back to the correct track," she added. What has Trump said about it? On Sunday, reporters travelling with the US president asked him about Sweeney. "You'd be surprised at how many people are Republicans," Trump said after a reporter stated that the White Lotus star is a registered Republican. "That's what I wouldn't have known, but I'm glad you told me that. If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic," Trump said on Sunday. Even before Trump weighed in, the saga had been the focus of conservative media with some suggesting the advert had been not only a great promotion for American Eagle - but also for the political party.
