Lionesses hero Chloe Kelly jets off for pre-Euros holiday - as she dances and soaks up the sun with her husband and Man United star

Daily Mail7 hours ago

Chloe Kelly enjoyed some downtime as she jetted off on holiday with friends ahead of England's European Championship campaign.
In a series of snaps on her Instagram account, Kelly showed off her Prada designer sunglasses with the caption: 'Love me some sunshine'.
The 27-year-old also shared a group selfie alongside her husband Scott Moore and Manchester United defender and England international Gabby George.
The England team-mates then showed off a Tik Tok dance to the viral song Jealousy by Khalil Harrison and Tyler ICU, with Kelly calling on fans to follow her on the short-form video platform.
Kelly has had a lot to celebrate since her acrimonious exit from Manchester City in January that saw her accuse the club of 'attempting to 'assassinate my character'.
With her career seemingly at a crossroads, the forward was offered a lifeline by Arsenal manager Renee Slegers to return to the club at which she had cut her teeth in the game as a teenager.
After joining the Gunners for the remainder of the campaign Kelly quickly became integral to the club's success and she started last month's Women's Champions League final as the north London club secured European glory.
As Sarina Wiegman's side prepare to begin the defence of their European crown, Kelly's future destination in club football is still yet to be confirmed.
Asked after the Champions League triumph whether she would remain at Arsenal Kelly remained coy in a recent interview.
'Who knows?' She admitted.
'I just know that I've given my all for the club and the club's given their all to me, so I'm always grateful.'
However, it appears that talks between player and club are currently underway, with Arsenal noting in their retained list that 'discussions are ongoing' over a new deal for Kelly.

Paul Hollywood's coconut and passion fruit traybake recipe

'Traybakes remind me of village fetes and bake sales as a kid,' says The Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood. 'I remember making them when I was a cub scout. They're a great way to get into baking, and you can play around with different flavours and toppings. 'One thing to remember is to leave them to cool before you slice up – don't rush it.' Advertisement Coconut and Passion Fruit Traybake Ingredients (12 squares) 200g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra to grease 200g caster sugar Finely grated zest of 2 limes 3 large eggs, at room temperature, beaten 200g self-raising flour 1tsp vanilla extract 100g desiccated coconut 3tbsp milk For the topping: 250g mascarpone 1tbsp icing sugar Finely grated zest and juice of 2 limes 3 passion fruit 25g toasted coconut flakes (Haarala Hamilton/PA) Method 1. Heat your oven to 180°C/160°C Fan/Gas 4. Grease a 30 x 23cm baking tin, 5cm deep, and line with baking paper. 2. In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar and lime zest together, using a hand-held electric whisk, until light and fluffy. Gradually add the beaten eggs, beating well after each addition and adding a spoonful of flour halfway through. Add the vanilla extract and stir in. Advertisement 3. Using a spatula or large metal spoon, carefully fold in the rest of the flour and the desiccated coconut. Finally, incorporate the milk until smoothly combined. 4. For the topping, in a bowl, mix the mascarpone with the icing sugar and lime juice. Cut each passion fruit in half and scoop out the seeds and juice into a small bowl. Add half of the passion fruit pulp to the mascarpone and stir to mix; save the rest for decoration. Advertisement 7. Spread the mascarpone over the top of the cooled sponge, using a palette knife. Trickle over the remaining passion fruit pulp and sprinkle with the toasted coconut flakes and grated lime zest to finish. Cut into squares to serve. Coco Gauff admits French Open win ‘wasn't pretty' after beating Aryna Sabalenka

Coco Gauff admitted her first French Open title win 'wasn't pretty' after she battled Aryna Sabalenka and the elements to reign on the Paris clay. The 21-year-old American, seeded second, came from a set down to beat world number one Sabalenka 6-7 (5) 6-2 6-4. Advertisement A stiff breeze swirled around Court Philippe-Chatrier and contributed to a combined total of 100 unforced errors and 15 breaks of serve. It was Gauff who coped better with the conditions to add the Roland Garros title to her 2023 US Open crown. Gauff coped better with the windy conditions (Jon Buckle/PA) 'it was super tough when I walked on the court and felt the wind because we warmed up with the roof closed,' she said. 'I was, like, 'this is going to be a tough day', and I knew it was just going to be about willpower and mental. Advertisement 'It really came down to the last few points, but overall I'm just really happy with the fight that I managed today. 'It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done, and that's all that matters.' NEW QUEEN OF PARIS 👑 #RolandGarros — Roland-Garros (@rolandgarros) June 7, 2025 It was the first time the top two women's seeds had contested a Roland Garros final since Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova in 2013. Sabalenka edged a tie-break to win the opening set, which at 77 minutes lasted nine minutes longer than the entire match the last time Gauff was in the Roland Garros final, a chastening 6-1 6-3 defeat by Iga Swiatek three years ago. Advertisement But at the start of the second Gauff inflicted a fifth successive break of the Sabalenka serve and finished it with an overhead Gauff was the more composed player by now and edged a break ahead in the decider, while Sabalenka moodily eyeballed her coaching team in the players' box. Sabalenka won the first set but could not halt the comeback (Jon Buckle/PA) Sabalenka drew level at 3-3 but promptly double-faulted to give Gauff three break points, and she dispatched the first with another precise swish of her backhand. At 5-3 the 27-year-old Belarusian bravely held to make Gauff serve the match out. Advertisement In keeping with the previous two hours and 38 minutes, a match point came and went, as did a break point. But when the second chance arrived and Sabalenka swung wide, an elated, tearful Gauff fell to the clay as she celebrated a stunning win. Sabalenka, a vivacious presence throughout the fortnight both in person and via her social media output, was an uncharacteristically ungracious loser. 'I mean, honestly sometimes it felt like she was hitting the ball from the frame,' she said. Advertisement 'Somehow, magically the ball lands in the court, and you're kind of on the back foot. 'It felt like a joke, honestly, like somebody from above was just staying there laughing, like, 'let's see if you can handle this'. 'I was just making unforced errors. I think she won the match not because she played incredible; just because I made all of those mistakes, kind of like from easy balls.'
