Fleetx raises ₹113 crore in Series C, aims for profitability and IPO

Fleetx.io, a software-as-a-service platform focused on digitising fleet and logistics operations using artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), has raised ₹113 crore in a Series C funding round. The investment was led by existing backers IndiaMART Intermesh Ltd and BEENEXT's Accelerate Fund.
The round, which includes a mix of primary and secondary investments, reflects continued investor confidence in Fleetx.io's growth trajectory and the broader market potential for logistics technology in India.
The fresh capital will be used to advance product development and scale a more sustainable and predictable sales model aimed at mid-market and enterprise clients across India. With the new funding, Fleetx.io aims to double its ARR (annual recurring revenue) and achieve profitability, positioning the company for a potential public listing within the next few years.
'This round gives us more than enough runway to become fully profitable within the next year and prepare the company for IPO readiness,' said Vineet Sharma, co-founder and CEO of Fleetx. 'As we sit on the huge logistics data points, we're in a unique position to leverage AI to tackle some of the most complex challenges in the sector. We will continue to invest aggressively in our product capabilities while building a durable, efficient business delivering measurable value to our customers.'
Fleetx has experienced strong growth—four times since its last fundraise in early 2022. The company now supports over 2,000 businesses, including more than 100 large ACV enterprise accounts, across transportation, manufacturing, mining, FMCG, and cement sectors. Its marquee clientele includes industry leaders such as Ultratech Cement, Unilever, Adani Group, Godrej, Vedanta, Shree Cement, MP Birla Group, Maersk, Hindalco, Grasim, AM/NS India, Bisleri, Panasonic, and DTDC.
The firm's AI-powered platform spans fleet management, trip intelligence, video telematics, fuel analytics, transport ERP, and transportation management system (TMS). This is enabling smarter, safer, and more efficient logistics across one of the country's most critical and underserved industries.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lauded India's achievements in expanding affordable broadband, revolutionising digital payments through UPI, and leveraging technology for governance, noting that these milestones have now become global case studies. PM Modi underscored that the country is poised to lead the next wave of digital transformation in 5G, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and cybersecurity, setting benchmarks for the world. Resharing a post by Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, the Prime Minister's Office said India's progress in digital infrastructure is not only empowering citizens but also shaping the global digital economy. 'Union Minister @JM_Scindia highlights that India's progress in affordable broadband, UPI and digital governance is now a global case study. He underscores that in the next wave of 5G, AI, IoT and cybersecurity, India will lead and set benchmarks,' PMO India wrote on social media platform X. Scindia, in his post, highlighted Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited's (BSNL) collaborations with four global technology leaders -- Ericsson, Qualcomm, Cisco and Nokia -- as a crucial step in preparing India's youth to command the frontiers of digital innovation. According to Scindia, these partnerships are aligned with flagship initiatives such as Digital India, Skill India, Make in India and Startup India, and are expected to position India as a global hub for telecom innovation and expertise. At the core of this effort is BSNL's apex training institute, Bharat Ratna Bhim Rao Ambedkar Institute of Telecom Training (BRBRAITT) in Jabalpur, which will serve as the nodal centre for rolling out advanced skilling and research programmes. Under the collaboration, Ericsson will establish a 5G Centre of Excellence at BRBRAITT, offering hands-on training supported by global best practices. Qualcomm will provide advanced courses in 5G and AI, sponsoring training for the first 100 students and creating new employability avenues. Cisco will extend its Networking Academy to deepen access to world-class training in networking and cybersecurity, while Nokia will set up a 5G and AI-ML Lab with joint certifications that will bolster graduates' industry readiness. Scindia emphasised that this initiative is designed to benefit students, working professionals and public sector employees through training modules ranging from two-week intensives to 84-hour comprehensive programmes.

The e-commerce and technology startup sector is driving fresher hiring in India with an impressive 88 per cent intent for the July-December period, according to a report on Career Outlook report (HY2 2025) by TeamLease EdTech highlights robust opportunities for first-time job seekers in key industries, with retail (87 per cent) and manufacturing (82 per cent) also showing strong hiring intent for cities, Bangalore leads with 81 per cent intent, followed by Mumbai (67 per cent) and Chennai (59 per cent).While overall fresher hiring intent has slightly softened to 70 per cent for July-December 2025, a 4 per cent dip from January-June 2025, opportunities remain robust in high-growth shift is attributed to AI-led workforce restructuring, global trade uncertainties, and a strategic focus on retaining experienced talent in core industries, said the report, based on a survey consisting of 1,065 employees and noted a steady rise in demand for degree apprentices, with manufacturing (37 per cent), engineering and infrastructure (29 per cent), and information technology (18 per cent) leading the way."The strong hiring intent in e-commerce and technology startups reflects the dynamic growth in this sector, creating exciting opportunities for freshers. Prayagraj: In a groundbreaking advancement for Indian agriculture, researchers at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad developed an innovative technology that allows farmers to detect crop diseases directly in their fields without needing to consult agricultural experts. This cutting-edge solution uses a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Deep Learning, and Federated Learning to analyse plant health based on leaf images and environmental conditions. This AI model— CVGG-16 was developed by Pramod Kumar Singh, a research scholar under associate professor and head of the Information Technology department at IIIT-Allahabad, Manish Kumar. This model was published in the international journal Internet of Things by Elsevier. The CVGG-16 model was trained on real-world images from farms — including dusty, low-light, or weather-affected conditions — making it robust and reliable across various regions and climates. What sets this model apart is its multi-concept data fusion network, which doesn't rely solely on photos. The model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.25% and in specific tests, it recorded 96.75% accuracy in identifying maize diseases and 93.55% in potato disease detection. A key innovation in this project is the implementation of Federated Learning, which ensures that farmers' data remains private. Instead of sending data to a central server, the model is trained locally near the farms, using a new algorithm named Extreme Client Aggregation. This ensures data privacy and decentralisation while still achieving high performance across datasets from different geographical regions. Since we have the picture of the entire farmland it is easier to spot the 'culprit' even in the deepest part of the crop, he added. Prof Manish Kumar emphasised the model's scalability and adaptability, stating that it can be applied to any crop in any region across India. Whether it's maize fields in North India or potato farms in the South, the model's multi-layered structure allows it to adjust to varied agricultural conditions. The researchers aim to make the technology even more accessible by developing mobile-based solutions and local language interfaces to ensure that small and marginal farmers can benefit from this advancement. This breakthrough could mark a turning point in Indian agriculture, empowering farmers with real-time, intelligent diagnostics — and ensuring healthier crops with minimal dependency on external consultations, he said.
