Taking to Instagram, the actor shared an emotional note, talking about how hard it is to process such heartbreaking news. 'Difficult to put into words how I'm feeling, how I guess everyone must be feeling after watching the news. I hope we all just don't move on," Varun wrote in his Instagram story. 'Life is moving at such a high pace that I want to just take a moment and be grateful for the safety and health of people I love. Prayers and only prayers for everyone in the city of Ahmedabad." Earlier in the day, he had also shared an emotional message: 'Prayers for all the families affected by this unfortunate incident. Heartbreaking." Several other Bollywood stars also reacted to the crash, sharing messages of support and condolences. Sidharth Malhotra posted, 'Deeply saddened by the tragic crash of the Air India flight out of Ahmedabad today. My heart goes out to every person grieving this unimaginable loss. Praying for strength during this incredibly difficult time." Shahid Kapoor added, 'Heartbreaking news. Can't even imagine the pain. At a loss of words. The crash took place on Thursday when Air India Flight AI-171, en route to London, crashed near BJ Medical College and Hospital shortly after take-off. The flight was carrying 242 people, including 10 crew members. Among the passengers were 169 Indians, 53 British nationals, 7 Portuguese citizens, and one Canadian. The tragic incident also claimed the life of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, confirmed Union Minister CR Paatil.
