ASOS bans shoppers for ‘consistent' breaches of little-known policy
Shoppers have been receiving emails from the online company stating breach of the Fair Use Policy, which details the number of items that customers can return to the retailer.

Angry shoppers have been taking to social media to share the emails they have received from the brand, which reads: 'After reviewing your recent return activity again, you are still part of a small group of customers whose shopping behaviour continues to breach our Fair Use Policy. For this reason, we have decided to close your account.
'Please note that this also applies to any other accounts you currently have or may try to open in the future.'

Customers took to X to vent their frustrations with many hitting out at the retailer for their 'awful quality' and 'botched sizing.'
One person raged: 'Obsessed with ASOS banning me from being a customer because the majority of their clothes are awful quality or botched sizing and therefore need to be returned.'

Another said: 'No way are ASOS closing my account because I return too many clothes. It's not my fault that the clothes I want don't fit and their sizing is awful. What a p*** take man.'
A third wrote: 'Account closed for 'consistent breaches' of their Fair Use policy when I haven't returned anything since October! #ASOS you are a joke. You've been losing customers since your new returns policy came in and now you're actually getting rid of customers willingly.'
Elsewhere, those who have had their accounts closed are reporting unsatisfactory help from the Customer Care department, with one person saying they 'closed the chat on me with no further information.'
Another shopper did have success in having her account reopened but admitted the ordeal has left her feeling 'unsure.'
She said: 'I don't feel confident now with their returns. Clearly the backlash received has resulted in them looking a bit further into each individual case…'

Oasis brothers Noel and Liam staying in separate hotels during Croke Park weekend

Oasis tease preview of Dublin shows as fans arrive early at Croke Park
Oasis fans attending Croke Park for the band's first performance on Irish soil since 2008 have been given a sneak peek of what to expect with the final soundcheck being completed as hundreds gather outside the venue. When the shock reunion announcement was made last year, the band's legions of Irish fans marked August 16 and 17 in the calendar for a long-awaited weekend that has finally arrived. The pair's parents were both born in Ireland, with their estranged father from Duleek, Co Meath and their mother Peggy from Charlestown, Co Mayo. Peggy is expected to attend at least one of the two Dublin gigs to watch her reconciled sons perform together. Streams of gig-goers have arrived in Dublin three hours before the gates are scheduled open, hoping to secure a front-standing spot and have managed to catch the band's final rehearsal and soundcheck before they take to the stage, likely around 8.15pm. Oasis will perform to 80,000 fans each night at Croke Park. More than 80,000 fans are expected to be in attendance on each night for the band's sold-out shows, with hundreds of them also visiting the venue on Friday night as a dazzling drone display lit up the night sky above Croke Park with the Oasis logo, which has been a prelude to kick off the festivities in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh to date. Another video shows even more fans standing outside the stadium recording as Bring It On Down, from the debut Definitely Maybe album, opens from inside the stadium, minus Liam's snarling vocals. Older brother Noel was spotted socialising in a Maynooth pub the day prior to the opening show alongside girlfriend Sally Mash. The 58-year-old was surrounded by fans and well-wishers as he was escorted from Brady's Clockhouse pub to a car and whisked away. According to the band's social media accounts, the gates at Croke Park will open from 5pm, with '90s indie rockers Cast serving as the openers from 6pm. An hour later, from 7pm, Richard Ashcroft, of The Verve, will perform for a little over an hour, up until 8.15, before Oasis take to the stage. The main performance is expected to last around two hours as the band powers through a 23-song hitlist with a scheduled finish time of 10.15pm, though the performance could run past this time.
