Travis Kelce skips Chiefs training as NFL star chooses to stay in Florida after wedding with Taylor Swift

Daily Mail2 days ago

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce isn't ready to leave the southern United States just yet - despite the beginning of optional team activities (OTAs) back in Missouri.
Kelce, who is set to begin his 13th NFL season this year, did not return to Kansas City to join the rest of his teammates as OTAs began on Tuesday.
Instead, he was spotted in Miami arriving at a gym sporting a white ballcap, a grey t-shirt and shorts, and flip flops while carrying a black-and-white patterned bag.
Kelce has been spending plenty of time in Florida in recent weeks as he prepares for the upcoming campaign.
It also comes one year after he received plenty of flak for spending much of his offseason following girlfriend Taylor Swift around the world or living his life doing things other than football - such as hosting episodes of game shows.
Kelce has tried rectifying that by spending his offseason in Miami and dedicating himself to getting in shape to play for the 2025 season.
On Monday, Kelce was seen out enjoying himself at some form of golfing event.
Kelce was seen posing for a photo with former Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen at the Kiawah Island golf resort in South Carolina.
Over the weekend, Travis went to a family wedding and brought along his pop superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as a date.
Swift gave guests the shock of a lifetime after joining her man as he celebrated his cousin, Tanner Corum, tying the knot at a barnhouse in Nashville on Friday.
The pop megastar Swift was seen wearing a stunning strapless blue floral patterned dress on the day, while Kelce opted for a black-and-white tweed shirt and brown pants at his cousin's wedding.
Footage emerged online of the celebrity super-couple enjoying the reception as they watched Tanner and his bride, Samantha Peck, share their first dance together.
And in new pictures from the wedding, Taylor can be seen cuddling up to Travis while sitting together at the reception.
The pair also posed for a snap with Ashton Corum, who is the sister of the groom.

Fans absolutely loved the photos of Swift and Kelce at the wedding, with a fan page dedicated to the NFL star sharing them on Instagram and writing: 'Cozy, low-key, and all smiles'.
Another commented: 'They look great together'.
'That's a happy beautiful couple right there,' said a third.
'This is the best picture I've seen yet!!' a fourth concluded.
While one even asked: 'Did Tay catch the bouquet??????'
Kelce and Swift's appearance at the wedding in Nashville came just a few days after their latest glitzy date night together.
Earlier this week the couple visited Buccan, a James Beard-nominated restaurant in Palm Beach, and were seen leaving the establishment hand-in-hand as they greeted fans before leaving in a black SUV.

The restaurant is located a short drive away from Kelce's $20million mansion in nearby Boca Raton.
A day after his date night with Taylor, Travis was seen was seen entering a workout facility in Palm Beach, Florida for a game of padel - the popular racket sport played on an enclosed court with walls.
The latter was seen wearing a maroon shirt, black mesh shorts, and a gray hat as he arrived to play some padel on Friday.
Swift and Kelce have been enjoying some down time together before the latter has to report to NFL training camp next month.
It's not clear if Kelce plans on skipping all of the Chiefs' OTAs or if he will eventually make his way up to join the team.

The former Love Island contestant has ruled out becoming a cosmetic surgeon or an aesthetics provider because it is out of her 'intellectual remit'. Olivia admitted she was 'naïve' about how weight-loss injections can affect people, but she got an understanding of how the jabs work in the new series.

Diddy accuser reveals her identity in shocking lawsuit detailing her 'bitten feet' and freak-off fears

An ex-girlfriend of Sean ' Diddy ' Combs has come out as one of the plaintiffs who filed a lawsuit against him alleging sexual assault, as his trial continues in court. Chelsea Lovelace filed her suit against Combs, 55, on September 27, 2024, just over a week after he was charged with sex trafficking and a racketeering conspiracy. Re-filing her lawsuit using her real name, Lovelace said that Combs pushed her to take part in 'freak-offs' before he allegedly drugged her at his Miami mansion in July. Lovelace added that the rapper often gave her alcohol and drugs, including Ecstasy, until she passed out to 'compel her into engaging in sex acts without her consent'. She recalled one instance where she allegedly woke up covered in bruises, and even bite marks on her feet, with no memory of how she got the injuries. The plaintiff met Combs in 2020 and dated him until last September. She initially filed the lawsuit anonymously, but revealed her identity on Thursday. Lovelace told Daily Mail: 'I loved him and truly believed we had a meaningful bond. 'Coming forward wasn't easy, but silence was costing me too much.' 'This isn't about revenge — it's about reclaiming my voice, my dignity and finally choosing myself. 'I trust that God is guiding me through this, and I believe healing begins with truth.' She added that filing this lawsuit is not an act of revenge, but is an 'act of release, standing in my truth, of choosing healing over hiding.' Lovelace said that she met Combs in the fall of 2020 and they quickly started dating. They saw each other around once a month, with the music mogul organizing her travel to join him around the US, including in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. Lovelace said Combs would ask her to 'perform a show' for him each time she visited, which involved covering herself in warmed baby oil and engaging in sexual activity with him which went on for hours. She said that the rapper was controlling, and used to try to discourage her from working. The plaintiff claims Diddy ordered his staff to incessantly try to contact her when he couldn't get through. Lovelace said the rapper was so possessive she grew concerned that he was monitoring her communications. She said she last visited Combs in July 2024, and he begged her to bring a man to their bedroom one night. 'I was in and out [of consciousness] that night,' Lovelace told Rolling Stone. 'But I do remember I was just like, 'I'm just gonna say yes so he leaves me alone, and I'm never coming back. I am never coming back after this.' Her lawsuit said that when she woke the next morning, she felt 'ill and confused and could not remember what happened the night before and the bedroom was in a disarray.' Lovelace's attorney, Joseph Ciaccio, said that his firm, Napoli Shkolnik, 'stands by our client's brave decision to publicly identify herself in the civil case against Sean Combs'. 'Her choice to step forward speaks volumes about her strength and resolve,' he told Rolling Stone. 'From the outset, our firm has maintained that no one is above the law, especially those in positions of power, and that principle remains steadfast. We are committed to pursuing justice on her behalf.' Lovelace has requested compensatory damages of an amount to be decided in court, along with attorney fees. In his current trial, Combs is charged with racketeering conspiracy, two charges of sex trafficking and two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution. Prosecutors claim Diddy coerced victims into drug-fueled sex parties using sex and violence. The rapper has denied all accusations, saying all sex acts were consensual.
