Moisés Nieto Spain Fall 2025 Collection

Moisés Nieto Spain Fall 2025 Collection

Vogue2 days ago

This season, Moisés Nieto celebrated the 15th anniversary of his brand, but instead of a lavish runway show, the designer opted for something more meaningful: an intimate dinner attended by a small group of press and many of his longtime friends.
'In the end, I feel like fashion shows have become cold spectacles,' said Nieto. 'There's no time to talk, people are in a rush. You bare your soul, and then it's over in a second. I wanted something different: to see the faces around me and, above all, to celebrate slowly.'
In this more relaxed and private setting, the designer revisited some of the standout pieces and patterns that have made him a household name in Spanish fashion. The lineup included his signature trench coats, masculine outerwear, and midi dresses in a palette of neutral tones and beiges. 'When I started, I didn't have any business mindset. You'd present 40 looks, and the pieces the buyers wanted would always repeat. That's how I learned which designs work and which don't. You learn a lot from your customers.' Today, those customers are more loyal than ever to his unmistakable craft.

Spanish soccer giant Real Madrid boasts the world's most expensive midfielder according to expert site Transfermarkt, as highlighted by local newspaper AS. The Madrid-based outlet ran a report on the Uruguayan entitled 'Valverde, a new dimension', which details how with veterans Luka Modric and Lucas Vazquez set to leave Madrid after the Club World Cup, Federico Valverde will only have Dani Carvajal ahead of him in the pecking order of first team captains. About to enter his eighth season in Los Blancos colors, Valverde is an undisputed starter likely to enjoy such prominence under Carlo Ancelotti's successor Xabi Alonso. He was the only player on the Italian's watch to exceed 5,000 minutes (5,029 to be exact) in playing time across 59 games in 2024/2025, which saw him finish way ahead of teammates such as Kylian Mbappe (4,607 minutes) and Jude Bellingham (4,346 minutes) in that respect. That was a season where we saw Valverde act as a Swiss army knife for his coach and play a number of positions for the Italian including pivot, midfielder, right back and right winger. With Trent-Alexander Arnold completing his long-awaited transfer from Liverpool before the weekend, its likely he'll no longer be required at right back and can perhaps concentrate on holding the fort but also getting forward in the centre of the park. Despite his more retreated position on occasion, Valverde was his team's leader with the most completed passes (3,122), passes to the final third (1,070) and interceptions (70). He was also second in tackles (95) and recoveries (257), third in robbing the ball in the final third of the pitch (24), fourth in blocks (15), fifth in shots (85) and sixth in shots on goal (29) while amassing nine goals and eight assists. This has contributed to a figure that AS says it 'everywhere all at once', and Valverde is expected to be a crucial to Alonso in 2025/2026 where the main mission will be With all this in mind, Real Madrid now boasts the world's most expensive midfielder in Valverde. Eighth overall on its list of the priciest footballers in the sport, he has since his value rise from $5.7 million (€5 million) to $148.4 million (€130 million).

I Started Wearing Matching Sets to Upgrade My Travel Style, and Now I'm Eyeing These 10 Summer Looks for Under $50

I used to consider black leggings and an oversized sweatshirt the recipe for a perfect travel outfit. But the more I traveled, the more I noticed that the most fashionable travelers wore matching sets. Since then, I've started revamping my vacation wardrobe with coordinating loungewear that's summer-friendly, trendy, and, most importantly, cozy enough for long travel days. Amazon is my go-to destination for travel clothes, and the online retailer's fashion store is bursting with matching sets for summer. Whether you're looking for a set with shorts, wide-leg pants, or an elevated skirt, Amazon has a wide selection of styles for less than $50. Below, discover my top 10 picks for as little as $30. This No. 1 best-seller on Amazon has captured shoppers' attention for its 'wrinkle-free' material and soft fabric that has a 'next to nothing' feel. It comes with a sleeveless mockneck top and wide-leg pants so you feel comfortable but look put together from the flight to hotel check in. Featuring a soft, butter yellow color, this matching set is perfect for summer. It's made from a soft, breathable fabric and is versatile enough to wear sightseeing or to the beach over your swimsuit. One reviewer wore it on a trip to Italy and said it was comfy while still looking chic. For an instant outfit that exudes elegance, throw on this matching skirt set from PrettyGarden. It has a smooth maxi skirt as well as a matching sleeveless top you can accessorize with jewelry for a more elevated vibe. Plus, the stretchy material means you can sit through plane rides, bus tours, and cruise dinners comfortably. Just because you want to be comfy doesn't mean you can't still look cute—and this matching set is the proof. It has an athleisure-inspired design and comes with flowy shorts and a cap-sleeved T-shirt that you can pair with other items in your suitcase. One shopper described the fabric as 'soft and creamy' and claimed it's great for hot, humid weather. Whether you're walking along the cobblestone streets of Paris, exploring the ruins of Athens, or admiring art in Florence galleries, you'll want to do it in this matching set. The sleeveless top has a romantic feel thanks to the ruffle hem, and the flowy pants have pockets, so you can keep your phone just within reach for snapping photos. If there's one thing a summer trip calls for, it's linen, and this set brings a fashionable touch to the breathable material. It's ideal for long flights, according to one reviewer who stayed comfortable in the set on a nine-hour flight and liked the outfit so much they got it in another color. Amazon shoppers call this matching set a 'summer staple.' It has a tailored vest and matching trouser shorts that have a polished and sophisticated look you can dress up or down. One traveler described it as the perfect vacation outfit for walking around and exploring, while another reviewer said it's lightweight enough for hot Texas summers. You don't just have to wear matching sets together, and this coordinating outfit proves just that. It comes with a simple T-shirt and wide-leg pants that'll create a loungeable airplane outfit. When you're off the plane, you can swap the T-shirt for a fitted tank top and denim jacket while you enjoy a drink at the bar or keep the top on and opt for a pair of denim shorts for a more tropical vacation-approved look. This matching set was crafted to give off a polished vibe and uses comfy materials that'll keep you cozy on long flights. One Amazon shopper said it's perfect for traveling because it feels like pajamas, doesn't wrinkle, and looks stylish. This set will keep you cool and comfy with its lightweight material that one reviewer noted also doesn't wrinkle, making it a no-brainer for all-day wear. One traveler wore it while shopping in Greece and said that in addition to how comfortable it was, they loved that they could wear the pieces separately—so you can mix and match more outfits. What Even Is a Sneaker?

Wow. I could write a whole treatise on this subject but will try to be brief. Officially a sneaker is 'a sports shoe with a pliable rubber sole,' at least according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary. That signifies a shoe meant to be worn while playing sports or otherwise engaging in athletic activity. For decades that made for a pretty straightforward distinction between sneakers and other shoes, especially leather lace-ups or loafers meant for wearing to work and more formal social occasions. And it made dress codes easy. If an institution wanted to signal that it was serious or aspirational, it would create a dress code that drew a line between sneakers and shoes. It was considered a sign of respect to wear more polished attire. Ergo the dress code you encountered. But that all changed in the 1990s, said Michael Mack, a professor of accessory design at the Savannah College of Art and Design who specializes in sneakers. At that time, Nike acknowledged that its footwear wasn't just about performance but culture, and sneakers evolved from being just about sports to being about identity. From there it was just a hop, skip and a jump until fashion got hold of them and started introducing shoes that may have been sneakers in name but actually looked more like sculptures. Then Covid happened, and everyone became used to wearing soft-soled shoes that didn't constrict the foot. There was no going back. Now there are dress sneakers, as modeled by the House minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries, and fashion sneakers, both of which often come with the explicit disclaimer that they should not be used for performance activities. But while there has been a clear evolution in sneaker style and sneaker etymology — and attitudes among generations about what is acceptable dress — there has not been a related evolution in many official dress codes. When I called a classic private club in New York to ask about its approach, a spokesman told me he spent hours in the Bergdorf Goodman shoe department taking pictures of Ferragamo loafers with rubber soles, trying to clarify the distinctions.
