Masseuse pleads not guilty to posting fake marriage certificate involving royalty on TikTok
Persana Avril Sollunda, 43, is charged with making and sending a fake video on the TikTok application through the account 'king.charles.ratu' showing a fake marriage certificate between a royal and Crown Princess Ratu Shana with the intention of hurting others last February 25.
The post was read at the Cyber Crime and Multimedia Investigation Division, Commercial Crime Investigation Department, Bukit Aman Police Headquarters, Menara KPJ, near here at 10.00am last February 26.
The charge, under Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 [Act 588] and punishable under Section 233(3) of the same law, provides a maximum fine of RM500,000 or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both, upon conviction, and may be fined a further RM5,000 for each day or part of a day the offence continues after conviction.
Judge Norma Ismail allowed the woman bail of RM10,000 with one surety and an order for her to report to a police station once a month pending disposal of the case.
The court set July 17 for mention.
The court had issued a warrant of arrest against Persana Avril last May 22 when she failed to turn up to face the charge.
Deputy public prosecutor Nursyuhada Husna Sulaiman appeared for the prosecution today, while Persana Avril was unrepresented. — Bernama

However, in recent days, Akmal has posted videos concerning a Jalur Gemilang mishap at a Penang hardware store, where the national flag was hoisted upside down. In one of Akmal's videos, he said prosecutors had two days to charge the shop owner, failing which he said he would personally 'teach this 'Ah Pek' (uncle) how to correctly put up a flag'. The AGC also confirmed that Bersatu Youth chief Hilman Idham would be charged under the same section over remarks he made in a video posted on the TikTok account ' Earlier, Bersatu Youth information chief Harris Idaham Rashid said the wing's chief is expected to be charged at the magistrates' court in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow over a speech he delivered during a gathering outside the Dang Wangi police headquarters last month. The AGC today said it had also decided to charge a woman named Siti Hajar Aflah Sharuddin under the same section as Akmal and Hilman, and S Chandrasegaran under the Communications and Multimedia Act for posting offensive content online. 'All charges will be brought before the magistrates' court with the appropriate local jurisdiction in due course.'

TikTok account owner Cikguchandra to be charged for insulting prime minister
KUALA LUMPUR: A TikTok account owner who allegedly insulted the prime minister is set to be charged in court tomorrow. According to the federal police's Classified Crimes Unit, the individual operating the TikTok account under the name Cikguchandra will be charged at the Shah Alam Sessions Court (Criminal) at 8.30am. The charge will be made under Section 233(1) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. Meanwhile, the Attorney-General's Chambers (A-GC) in a statement confirmed that Cikguchandra, whose full name is is among four people who will be charged over their statements, which were found to have disrupted public order.
