2 dead following shooting in Oak Grove
According to the Oak Grove Police Department, dispatchers received a 911 call around 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, but the caller didn't provide any information, so law enforcement had to ping the phone's location.
After the call was traced to a home along Arkansas Avenue, police said they responded to the address to check on the occupants. When officers arrived at the scene, they reportedly heard a gunshot and found a dead person just inside the home.

Authorities said a second individual, who was armed and had gunshot wounds, was barricaded in a back room. Law enforcement tried to negotiate with this person, but they were unsuccessful.
'When additional units from the Christian County Sheriff's Office and Hopkinsville Police arrived, Oak Grove Officers entered the home and conducted a search, ultimately finding the shooter deceased from what is believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound,' Oak Grove officials wrote on social media.
In their 10:44 a.m. Facebook post, police said they were withholding the names of those involved pending the notification of next of kin. However, WKDZ Radio reported that authorities identified the man they found shot when they arrived as 27-year-old Gage Gilbert and the man they found after entering the home as 35-year-old Michael Johnson.

According to WKDZ Radio, law enforcement said they are still investigating the shooting, but they currently believe it was a murder-suicide.
No additional details have been released about Sunday morning's incident.

A dive team found human remains inside a barnacle-covered car underwater at a Long Island beach — a discovery they think may be linked to a 15-year-old missing persons case. Dan Pritchard and his diving partner Bill McIntosh — who travel the world looking for missing people — found the remains inside a submerged Chrysler PT Cruiser at Cedar Beach in Mt. EUCLID, Ohio (WJW) – A 14-year-old boy who has autism ran away from his Euclid home and was last seen running toward Cleveland on Interstate 90 on Sunday.
