Kasautii Zindagi Kay fame Suzanne Bernert now a Delhi resident, talks about dealing with the capital's summer heat- Exclusive

Time of India22-05-2025
With ample sunshine, longer days and soaring temperatures, Delhi is currently enjoying sunny days. But with the warm weather conditions, staying motivated to maintain your fitness routine can be a challenge.
In a conversation with us, actress
Suzanne Bernert
, who was last seen in the TV show 'Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan' shared some refreshing and effective tips to keep fit and healthy all summer long.
Sharing her experience in Delhi she said, "I now own a home in Delhi also along with one in Mumbai. My partner Arjun Hardus is based in the capital. It was last year in May I had just come from Mumbai for the first time, not for a shoot but to stay. And it was a very taxing time as it is a completely different level than in Mumbai.
This year it is much better as I have been here sliding into the heat. The best is to stay super hydrated with lots of fresh water and coconut, sugarcane or fruit juice.
One change in my lifestyle that happened here is that after breaking the habit of not having any soft drinks for over 10 years I am back with having one per day. I try my best to be in a cooler temperature, thanks to the air-conditioners! Also, I get easily tired around 2 pm and half an hour of nap restores my energy."
She continued, "I never have no sunscreen on! Even while I'm at home. I found great brands here that won't break the budget but are really good. I use actives in my skin routine so sunscreen is even more important!"
Sharing some tips ahead the German actress based in India added, "For all the girlies out there! If you use Vitamin C or any other anti-ageing or anti-pigmentation, you must need sunscreen! The skin gets more sensitive and the effect you are getting from your product will get spoiled.
So you need to be more careful and fix your daily skincare routine."
The 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress also mentioned, "One need to keep in mind that you may not be able to work out as long or as hard as usual when it's very hot. Taking frequent breaks in the shade, and drinking water before you're thirsty is compulsory. Allowing yourself time to adapt to the heat. Also, I feel wearing lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothes helps.
Protect yourself from the sun with sunglasses, a hat or an umbrella.
"
On the work front, Suzanne has been part of several TV shows, including
Kasautii Zindagi Kay
, Jhansi Ki Rani, Sanskaar Laxmi, and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. She has also been featured in films like No Problem, The Accidental Prime Minister, and the Telugu film Yatra 2.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan Dresses Up as a Punjabi Teacher to Help Abhira

Abhira is grateful for the dance competition opportunity, while tension escalates at the Poddar house between Armaan and Geetanjali. Armaan's attempt to help Abhira practice in disguise backfires, leading to a heartfelt moment. As the performance nears, Abhira faces a dilemma when she notices Armaan in trouble, jeopardizing her chance to shine. Abhira, in tonight's episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, feels grateful to Maira for giving her a fair chance to take part in the prestigious dance competition. For Abhira, this competition is more than just winning — it's about proving herself and valuing the opportunity she has received. Meanwhile, the atmosphere at the Poddar house remains tense. Armaan and Geetanjali are seen in a heated argument. Armaan feels that Geetanjali keeps interfering in Abhira and Maira's matters, which only stirs up trouble. Geetanjali pushes back by saying that it's Armaan's fault for forcing Maira to stay with Abhira, as it's pulling her away from her dreams and joy. On the other side, Abhira is struggling with her classical dance practice, which Kiara notices and asks Armaan to step in. Armaan comes up with a fun idea where he disguises himself as a Punjabi dance teacher and goes to train Abhira without revealing who he is. But the plan doesn't last long, as he accidentally mentions Dadi Sa's name, revealing his identity to Abhira. Feeling tricked, Abhira questions Armaan. He explains that his only aim was to help her bond with Maira through the performance. After some hesitation, Abhira agrees to continue the practice. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like When Knee Pain Hits, Start Eating These Foods, and Feel Your Pain Go Away (It's Genius) Read More Undo This leads to a sweet emotional moment between the two. At Maira's place, Maira encourages Abhira by saying it's okay if the steps take time to perfect. She even compares her to Geetanjali but tells her not to feel bad if things don't go exactly right. Abhira feels more confident after this, knowing that while Armaan helped her reach here, the real performance will be her own effort. Before the big dance, Armaan reminds Abhira to focus on Maira's favourite step, hoping it will help her connect emotionally. But just as everything seems to be going well, Abhira notices Armaan in what looks like trouble during the event. This leaves her torn between the performance and helping Armaan.
