An 11-year-old girl was stuck by a vehicle near a zebra crossings.
A schoolgirl was hit by a car which mounted a pavement at a Scots shopping park.
On Sunday May 25 an 11-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle after it mounted onto the kerb in the Inverness Shopping Park at around 3.15pm.
The collision took place at the crossroads zebra crossings in Eastfield Way next to Hollywood Bowl and Pizza Hut.
It is understood that the youngster suffered a sore ankle, but was otherwise unhurt and did not require medical treatment, reports the Inverness Courier.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 3.15pm on Sunday, May 25, we received a report of a collision involving a car and an 11-year-old female pedestrian on Eastfield Way, Inverness.
'The girl did not require medical treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.'
Yesterday, in a separate incident, we reported that a Scots schoolboy is in a "serious condition" in hospital after being hit by a car near an school in Edinburgh.
The seven-year-old was struck by a vehicle on Ferry Road in the capital at around 6.30pm on Friday night. It is understood the crash took place near Oaklands Primary School.
He was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Cops remain at the scene and a cordon has been erected while they carry out full enquiries.
An investigation has also been launched into the crash.
Images from the scene show several police cars in the residential area and police tape cornering off the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were made aware of a collision involving a car and a seven-year-old male pedestrian which happened on Ferry Road in Edinburgh shortly after 6.35pm on Friday, 30 May.
"The boy has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People for treatment. His injuries are serious but not described as life threatening.
"Enquiries are ongoing and the road is currently closed."

The force launched a desperate search to find the 58-year-old woman who was last seen between 10am and 11am. Before she disappeared, Alison was last spotted in the Lighthill area of Back. Earlier this afternoon, police issued an urgent appeal and asked for the public's help to find her. They said they were becoming "increasingly concerned" for her welfare as they carried out "extensive enquiries". Police urged the close-knit community to look out for Alison and get in touch with officers if they saw her. They also asked the public to check their sheds or outhouse areas if they had one. But the force issued a statement tonight confirming that the body was found hours after she was reported missing. Officers added that the death is not being treated as suspicious. Police clash with PSG yobs at Champions League parade on second day of chaos
Paris Saint-Germain supporters clashed with riot police for a second night in the French capital, following the club's historic Champions League victory on Saturday. Riots erupted on the Champs Elysee on Sunday night as wild scenes around Paris St Germain's European Cup celebrations entered a second night. Crowds of supporters attacked police on the world-famous venue in the French capital on Sunday evening, as the PSG team took part in a victory parade following theirvictory over Inter Milan in the Champions League, reports the Mirror. "They are throwing everything they can at us," said an officer at the scene, as cops responded with tear gas and baton in a desperate bid to restore order. Gangs armed with bricks and metal poles - looted from nearby building sites - battled with gendarmes. Shocking footage showed cars caught in the crossfire, as terrified drivers were told to lock themselves in their vehicles. The violence came just hours after two people lost their life during intense nationwide violence following PSG being crowned European football champions for the first time in Munich, Germany, on Saturday night. One of the worst incidents took place in Dax, in the south-west of France, where a 17-year-old was knifed in the stomach. "He was part of a crowd celebrating the PSG win in designated fanzone, and died from his wounds in hospital' said a local police spokesman, without naming the deceased. An investigation is underway, and CCTV is being used to try and find those responsible.' Masks thugs in hoodies were seen prowling the streets, while discared mattresses were set alight, sending thick black smoke billowing through the night sky. There was even fighting reported around the Eiffel Tower, which was lit up in PSG's red, white and blue following their 5-0 win. Around 5,400 police officers were on duty across Paris at the weekend, as trouble was always expected, whatever the result. PSG fans have built a notorious reputation for violence in recent years, with incidents against Arsenal and Aston Villa supporters during this year's Champion's League campaign. There was also trouble reported in Munich, where rival French and Italian fans fought each other. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the PSG club president, appealed for calm on Sunday, as PSG took part in a victory parade in central Paris.

Body found in search for woman reported missing on Scots island as family informed
Alison MacDonald vanished from the Isle of Lewis. A body has been found in the search for a Scots woman who was reported missing this morning. A missing persons probe was launched to trace Alison MacDonald. The 58-year-old vanished from the village of Back, on the Isle of Lewis. She was last seen between 10 and 11am in the village's Lighthill area. Police Scotland appealed to the public for assistance with the search, saying she had been reported missing this morning, Sunday, June 1, 2025. I'd urge anyone who has information on Alison's whereabouts, or who thinks they may have seen her, to contact police. "Anyone with sheds or outbuildings is encouraged to check these areas. I understand Back is a close-knit community and people will want to assist with searches, however I urge you not to put yourself in danger. Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 1363 of 1 June. But this evening, the force said a body had been recovered in the search to find her. They said: "Around 6.10pm on Sunday, 1 June, 2025, the body of a woman was recovered near to the village of Back, Isle of Lewis. "The family of 58-year-old Alison MacDonald, who had been reported missing on Sunday 1 June, has been informed. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
