A Florida man dressed in a Dalmatian onesie has been arrested after evading police and K9 units despite being tasered and partially handcuffed.
It was a rough day for Dylan Keith Devereaux, who fled after being initially spotted and pulled over by Florida Highway troopers in Pasco County on January 27, due to reckless driving, reported law enforcement authorities.
Devereaux took off at a high rate of speed, stopping once to drop off a passenger before speeding off again, according to FHP officers, who were hot on his tail.
The vehicle eventually crashed into a tree, and Devereaux leaped from the car. He was tasered and brought to the ground by troopers, according to a criminal probable cause affidavit obtained by ABC6.
The 36-year-old reportedly began fighting with troopers in the road in a bid to escape before managing to sprint away with one hand cuffed, the affidavit recounted.
Devereaux ran toward his nearby residence but fled into a forest instead.The trooper who saw him flee waited for backup before pursuing him, ABC6 reported.
A K9 unit was later deployed and the dog led law enforcement to the home, where officers met his partner, Megan Elizabeth Hamilton, according to the affidavit.
Hamilton, 31, explained that she could not let troopers inside because of the presence of drugs, troopers said
Police returned to the home the next morning with a warrant and arrested Devereaux. He's charged with 13 offenses, including reckless driving, battery and assault on an officer, and possession of methamphetamine and a new, illegal substance.
Devereaux is currently incarcerated at Pasco Detention Center where his partner has also been taken into custody, according to records.

On April 25, three weeks after his car was discovered, authorities returned to the crash site to investigate further. Taylor's body was eventually found about a mile from the crash site, inside an enclosed shelter nearby. Authorities said it appears he made his way to the structure after the accident in an effort to save himself. The revelation sparked horror on social media and raised questions about how thorough the initial search of the area was after police discovered a crashed car with no driver. 'An extensive search was done that night, including a drone with thermal imaging as well as a K9 officer and other fire and rescue crew members and no driver or any individual was able to be located in or around the vehicle,' the sheriff's office said at the time. 'Area hospitals and businesses were also checked. At the time of this accident, he was not an entered missing person.' Taylor's grandmother died on April 18, 10 days after he vanished but seven days before his family learned that he'd also died. His grieving relative shared a tribute after learning of his death, describing Taylor as 'a bright, young man, who had so much life ahead of him. 'We are saddened by this loss, but comforted that he joins his mom Maria and recently passed Granny in heaven! Rest in peace Marcus!' Another relative added: 'All who knew his beautiful mother Maria, who passed a few years ago, know that she was a true angel.

Stalker in 'trench coat' kept sick diary as he targeted mums on school run
Travis Ward, 22, Londesborough, sprayed a woman with bodily fluid from a syringe as he stalked mothers taking their children to a Hull school and kept sick diaries about meeting them, a court heard A man wearing a 'trench coat and a red hoody' stalked mothers as they took their kids to school and sprayed one with bodily fluid from a syringe, a court heard. Travis Ward kept a tally of the encounters of the women, making up names for them and writing in notes on his phone what he would he would like to do with them. Another was stalked while he wore a face covering and a dark coat. Grimsby Crown Court heard police found his membership of banned far-right group Britain First along with vile images on his phone. Travis, 22, from Londesborough, admitted four stalking offences, sexual assault by spraying one woman with semen from a syringe and an offence of possession of indecent images of a woman having sex with a Dalmatian dog and a horse. Claire Holmes, prosecuting, told how one of the women became so frightened of seeing him each time she took her daughter to school that she stopped taking her for fear of what he might do to her or her daughter. On multiple occasions he trailed her as she went to and from the school. When he was reported to police by one of the women, police arrested him. He resisted and officers had to use Pava spray to detain him. His phone revealed sickening details of his secret encounters stalking four women. From the phone evidence police were able to identify the other women who were being secretly stalked. In a victim impact statement read by Miss Holmes, one woman said: "I was terrified what he might do. I hope he realises the sheer fear and anxiety he caused to my family." Mitigating, Hannah Turner urged Judge Gurdial Singh to assess a psychological report which described his low intellectual ability and highlighted autism traits which resulted in him becoming fixated. She said he was living an isolated life at the time. He had an online girlfriend in the USA, whom he had never met. He joined Britain First due to his isolation, she added. Judge Singh said: "One can only imagine the fear they (victims) must have felt." He jailed Ward for a total of 40 months and handed down a seven-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He will be on the Sex Offender Register for seven years, along with a ten-year restraining order, reported HullLive. After the hearing, Detective Sergeant Sam Cunnington from Humberside Police Protecting Vulnerable People Unit, said: 'Ward is an obsessive, methodical individual who documented his plans to stalk women across Hull as they went about their daily business, before acting on his plans, and subsequently diarising them all for his own personal sexual gratification. 'Before he went out on his hunt, he donned a trench coat, red hoody and face covering to alter his persona and was seen multiple times on CCTV wearing the same clothing as he pursued and intimidated women, who were strangers to him, as he followed them home or as they took their children to school. 'Following multiple reports, and after one brave woman came forward to contact the police whilst she was being followed by Ward in the area of Porter Street in Hull, officers were able to identify and arrest him nearby on the same day. Whilst in custody, Ward's devices including phones, computers and hard drives were subsequently seized and examined, revealing videos of extreme animal pornography, as well as a digital diary full of derogatory and offensive language highlighting who he was planning to target. 'I would like to commend the four women for coming forward and reporting Ward. It is because of their bravery, we were able to stack up the evidence against him, leading to Ward deciding to plead guilty, and eventually being put behind bars. 'The streets of Hull will be much safer without him on them.' He added: "We take all reports of sexual assault, stalking and other sexual offences extremely seriously and we will continue to seek justice for those who have suffered from crimes of similar nature. A Princeton student disappeared after leaving a library. Days later, crews are searching near a lake where a phone pinged
A Princeton University student has reportedly gone missing after he was last seen leaving a campus library. The university's Department of Public Safety is seeking information on the whereabouts of 23-year-old Lauren Blackburn. The junior — expected to graduate in 2026 — was reportedly last seen around 6pm on Saturday leaving the Firestone Library. The university said Blackburn is 6'2, with brown hair, brown eyes, and that he weighs approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with torn knees, a yellow t-shirt with a black, zippered hoodie, and blue flat-bottomed shoes, according to investigators. Around midnight on Tuesday, police began searching Lake Carnegie for any sign of Blackburn after a missing person's phone pinged in the area. It is not immediately clear if the phone belongs to the missing student. Lake Carnegie is on the campus and is used by Princeton University's rowing team. Along with the water search, Hamilton Township police used dogs, drones, and sonar to assist with the search, according to ABC6. According to the University Herald, Blackburn is a 2019 National Merit Scholar and Gates Scholar, who earned a full ride scholarship to Princeton. The college's student newspaper, The Daily Princetonian, who Blackburn used to write for, reported that an alert was sent to the school's community on Tuesday stating the undergraduate was missing. Later that day, Vice President for Student Life W. Rochelle Calhoun sent a follow up email saying told that support was available for concerned students. 'I will share an update when we know more, but in the meantime please hold Lauren in your thoughts as we attempt to locate him,' she wrote. "I hope that he's found soon and I hope that he's totally fine. But it's freaky, especially during this period where things are up in the air and nobody has any information," senior student Ryan Hoffman told ABC6. Officials at the school warned students they may see an increased police presence on campus while investigators continue to search for Blackburn.
