Is Katie Taylor married? 'Wedding ring' sparks speculation
The Wicklow boxer has not given any indication that she is married but is notoriously quiet and private about her personal life.
Katie was seen wearing the ring in the build-up to her trilogy fight with Amanda Serrano earlier this month in New York, where she once again beat the Puerto Rican. Katie Taylor has has a ring on her finger for a while now. Pic: Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile
The fighter was first seen wearing the ring earlier this year in April when she was promoting the third and final bout with Amanda.
Katie has never given up much about her romantic life, telling The Athletic a while ago that she hated getting those types of questions in interviews.
When asked what was her least favourite question to hear, she said: 'Probably the question about relationships. That's another question people always ask. I guess people are just interested in my personal life.
'I get it all the time. It's a bit annoying at times but I'm just polite and get on with it. I don't think male boxers get asked it, though.'
However, in 2019, the 39-year-old did delve a bit deeper into her relationship status at the time in an interview with the Irish Mirror.
She remarked: 'I'm not (seeing anyone) at the moment, I really genuinely haven't got the time.
'I'm just out in America training hard at the moment but who knows what could happen in the future.' Katie is very quiet about her relationship status. Pic: KT
Later that year, her documentary was released and this again shared a bit more of an insight into Katie's romantic side.
She said: 'Sometimes I think I'm a bit too single-minded where I only think about the next flight.
'I'm not too sure whether I want to get married, whether I want to have kids.
'I don't think I'd be able for that. I can hardly look after myself.
'I've definitely had opportunities where I've been in relationships with guys and stuff, but it's never really worked out.
'They just weren't the right guy, I guess. And I always felt like life was a lot easier as a single person when I am training so much. And I'm very, very happy as a single person as well, but I don't regret any decisions I've made.'
Katie's Madison Square Garden fight was watched by millions around the world on Netflix in what could be the final time we see the Bray Bomber enter the ring as a professional boxer.
Her retirement has long been speculated about but she did not give anything away after seeing off Amanda earlier this month.
She said: 'I don't know (what the future holds), but I'm not fighting Amanda again, she hits too hard.
'I thought I boxed very well and very smart tonight, she didn't catch me as much as she did in the first two fights, and I'm delighted with the performance.'
Katie did allude to a long-called for Croke Park fight, saying that it would be 'unbelievable', but promoter Eddie Hearn has repeatedly brushed off the idea of GAA HQ hosting a bout.

‘I had good conversations' – Ole Gunnar Solksjaer drops Ireland bombshell & pays tribute to St Pat's star Mason Melia
BESIKTAS boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that he held serious conversations about succeeding Stephen Kenny as Ireland manager. But he insisted that tomorrow's meeting with Kenny's St Patrick's Athletic is not about the men in the dugouts, but about stars like the Saints' Mason Melia. 2 Ole Gunnar Solksjaer confirmed he held talks with the FAI over the Ireland job Credit: Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile 2 He was one of a number of names linked with succeeding Stephen Kenny Credit: Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile Former Manchester United legend Solskjaer took charge of Besiktas earlier this year in what was his first job since his departure from Old Trafford in 2021. But he was one of the leading contenders to replace Kenny last year before Heimir Hallgrímsson's appointment, as Solskjaer confirmed there were detailed talks. He said: 'The Irish FA asked me if I wanted to be their coach. I had some good conversations but in the end it didn't turn out that way, I am happy where I am now.' But the 52-year-old Norwegian admitted that drawing St Pat's in the Conference League has meant he has followed Irish football closely. And he believes Ireland have a star on their hands in Melia, who will leave St Pat's for Tottenham Hotspur in a £2 million deal in January. Solskjaer added: 'They have a young striker that is very exciting. That might be the next one, the young lad coming through, Tottenham have made a good signing. 'When you perform at that level at 17…we see his movement, his goal against Waterford (on Sunday), the way he spun on a centre back timed his run…. 'I don't want to put pressure on him. I always follow young players, when you see young players, you follow their careers. 'He reminds me of a proper No. 9, he can play off the shoulder, or come short as well, he's a good finisher as well. 'He's got the world ahead of him. I wish him all the best after eight or nine days from now (and the second leg of the tie in Istanbul).' Inside the story of the ex-Man Utd wonderkid who retired in non-league that now helps clubs find the next gen of talent Solskjaer insisted that Besiktas - who are under pressure this week after being eliminated from the Europa League by Shakhtar Donetsk - do not view St Pat's as an easy tie. He added: 'If you think we think we are better than them, you're wrong. We respect absolutely every opponent. 'I'm sure they want to win, expect to win. Last year, they (St Pat's) got one step further than this. 'We are ready for a difficult game, we know last year (they faced) Basaksehir and drew 0-0, we know we have a fight, a team that has found form, and is playing defensively really well. 'We know a bit about them, they played Molde earlier this year and Ryan McLaughlin, he played for my assistant Mike Marsh when he was younger (at Liverpool). 'And Joe Anang, my goalkeeping coach worked with him. So we know a bit more about them than normal scouting. 'I wouldn't call anything a free hit in football anymore.'

Katie Price's lips look bigger than ever after filler as rift with daughter Princess is revealed
KATIE Price has flaunted her bigger than ever lips in a brand new snap after topping them up with even more filler. The mum-of-five is known for her ever-changing looks but now she seems to be sporting a pout bigger than anyone has ever seen before. 3 Katie Price has shown off her bigger than ever lips in a new snapshot Credit: katie-pricey/Snapchat/Instagram 3 The star is known for her ever-changing looks Credit: Getty Katie uploaded a photo of herself to her Snapchat account where she could be seen enjoying a meal out. But instead of all of the attention being on the star's meal, it was her plump pout that was the star of the show. Katie is known for her love of 'butterfly' lips and regularly undergoes the procedure which involves excessive filler plumped into her lips to give her the desired look. The 47-year-old mum-of-five has spent a HUGE amount of money over the years on cosmetic procedures. And she's recently spoken about being unhappy with her latest £10,000 facelift, with sources close to the star claimed at the time that she she was less than impressed with her 'pixie ears' following the procedure. Katie last underwent a lip filler procedure just last month when she opted to top up her pout as well as have a Brazilian Bum Lift during a single visit to The Clinic Club on London's Harley Street earlier this month. Sharing the latest tweaks with fans on Instagram, Katie revealed: 'So my lips are done. I haven't gone too big and now I'm gonna do my bum. "Literally, got the train up, having my lips done, having filler in two areas of my bum, then taking Harvey to his new place.' The star previously revealed that she had regrets over how far she'd gone - but that didn't stop her from opting for more tweaks last week. Insisting this time was less risky, Katie said: 'If I'd had my bum done in Turkey it would be more dangerous. I'd be put to sleep, it would be more dangerous and they use your own fat. Katie Price admits her family are panicked over star's weight loss as mum fears eating disorder and dad calls her 'thin' legs 'terrible' "This is just filler. Come up here for an hour and a half and it's done, amazing…' Her recent surgery antics come after her rift with 18-year-old daughter Princess was uncovered and laid bare. Princess is due to launch her first solo reality show this weekend but Katie won't be featured with it being understood the teen has been told to distance herself from her mother in order to protect her brand and image. While Katie, 47, adores her eldest daughter — who she had with first husband Peter Andre — she has been left devastated after the teenager was told to 'distance herself' from her 'low-rent' relative. Telly bosses deliberately cut the former glamour model out of forthcoming ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie'. In a bid to market the youngster as a pretty, middle-class influencer, they even turned down Katie's team's offer to film for free for three days. Conor Phillips admits being on Love Island 'wasn't straightforward' for him
Love Island star Conor Phillips has said the show was a "massive learning curve" and it "wasn't as straightforward" for him. The Limerick rugby star narrowly missed out on making it to the final with Dubliner Megan Forte Clarke, which saw Toni Laites and Cach Mercer crowned this series' winners. But following Megan's first departure, Conor was coupled up with several different women on the dating show, however, he struggled to find a spark with any of them. Then in a shock twist producers brought back Megan, much to the delight of Conor. Captioning a series of pictures and videos of his time in the villa, he said: "Walking into the @loveisland villa eight weeks ago, I didn't know what to expect. "I came in with an open heart and the promise to stay true to myself no matter what and I am proud to say I have done exactly that, even if it meant saying 'what's the craic like' a few too many times. "My journey wasn't as straightforward as I would have intended but it was a massive learning curve, from laughs to lessons, challenges to connections and feeling emotions I never thought I had (@cacherel_ and myself have the same Al tear generator (?))." The 25-year-old former Munster player said the show has made him "grow in so many different ways". "I have grown in so many different ways and to have that seen and supported by all you means more than I can put in words. "More than anything, I just wanted to make my mother proud, my family, my friends, everyone back home, I hope I did you justice. "The messages, the love, the unreal support has been overwhelming in the best way. Thank you all for riding with me, I appreciate every single one you. "This is just the beginning, let's see what's next." It comes after Megan shared her appreciation for being part of the show, saying that while she didn't win, she "got what she wanted", referring to her romance with Conor. She said: "Diva up x What an experience!!! "I've laughed, cried, belched and wouldn't have had it any other way. I've learned so much about myself throughout this journey and I am so so grateful for the love and support it's been a wild one!! "Got what I wanted in the end off to sing hsm in the pub now xxxx."
