The vandals went on their rampage in a quiet, residential neighbourhood in the Overslade area of Rugby, Warks, over the weekend.
Homeowners woke on Sunday morning to discovered their motors had been destroyed in the chaos.
Windows were left smashed and shattered and cars were left covered in spray paint.
The car destroying vandals targeted the motors between 12am and 2am along Saunton Road, Westbourne Grove and Wentworth Road.
Vehicles were painted with bizarre phrases such as "Help" and "We R Here."
Officers have launched an investigation into the vandalism and are desperately trying to chase down the yobs responsible.
Chief Inspector Angus Eagles, policing commander for Rugby, said: "This incident has understandably caused a lot of anguish in the local community, and we have launched a thorough investigation to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.
"One of the people we would like to speak to was wearing a distinctive top which we believe to be the Off White brand.
"There's an image of the top below, I appreciate it's not the best, but we're hoping someone can help us identify the owner.
"Our CCTV enquiries are ongoing.

"We're continuing our enquiries and appeal for anyone with CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the incident to get in touch with us."
One resident, who did not want to be named, said: "It is usually so quiet and peaceful around here, we don't even get any noise issues.
"I woke up to find someone had written 'help' on my Toyota. Others had hearts or 'hi' and 'we are here' daubed over their vehicles - it was very bizarre.
"Our insurance will cover it but I was gutted as I've only had it two years and it was brand new.

"My partner managed to scrub the paint off but it has still ruined the body work.
"They broke the front and back windows of some cars, I have not idea what they were thinking.
"It was just mindless but they came in masks so they were prepared for what they were going to do. It was definitely premeditated.
"I think by the way one moved and the style writing it could have been a girl who did the painting.
"They must have caused thousands of pounds of damage."
Another added: "I had to help an elderly neighbour clean up her car, she was distraught. They had smashed up her registration plate too.
"We never have any major issues around here, it was just carnage. We just want them caught and are worried they might come back."
Officers are asking anyone with information to call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Black DC woman shares why her quality of life has become so much better since Trump's crime crackdown
A young black woman in DC beamed on camera while saying she feels so much safer in the city since President Trump's controversial crime crackdown. 'Finally able to chill at a red light with my windows down,' the TikTok user @bigdawglexi said as she sat in her car. '(I'm) not worried about if one of them young n***s is coming… Riding through the city, feeling more safe than I ever felt.' The clip quickly circulated social media amid debates over whether Trump's hardline approach overstepped and whether his targeting of a city with a large black population is racist. Police statistics showed crime in DC is down this year - but locals say the city is still plagued by muggings, shootings, stabbings and carjackings that heavily-impact their quality of life. The TikTok user's video was flooded with comments, as one questioned her: 'You couldn't ride with your window down before? I've never been to DC, was it really that bad?' 'Yeah they grab you right at the light,' she responded, in an apparent reference to carjackings. The video comes as MSNBC's legal analyst Anthony Coley admitted on the air this week that he was also pleased to see the White House send in the National Guard to the streets of DC. Speaking on Wednesday's edition of 'Morning Joe', Coley said: 'Many people are frustrated with crime that we see, particularly committed by juveniles in the city of Washington.' President Trump deployed 1,000 National Guard to DC this week in what he claimed was a push to sort out the city's crime problem. Statistics show crime in DC is falling - but many locals say the city is still an exceptionally scary place to live The MSNBC analyst said that the 1,000 National Guardsmen deployed to the city was a welcome sight, and said residents have long complained of a declining quality of life. 'People are frustrated that when they got to CVS to buy deodorant, that they have to get it from behind locked plexiglass, right?' he continued. 'These are not just random anecdotes. What we see in Washington Post polling is that roughly half of residents view this as a serious problem or an extremely serious problem.' As the White House prepared to launch its crime crackdown earlier in the week, Trump issued an ominous warning to would-be criminals on Truth Social. 'Be prepared! There will be no "MR. NICE GUY." We want our Capital BACK,' he wrote. Trump branded the deployment the Making DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force, a move that led to the arrests of 103 people since August 7. Camo-clad troops with the National Guard started arrived into the capital at around 8 pm on Tuesday, sparking outrage from the capital's Democrat mayor Muriel Bowser. Bowser branded the move an 'authoritarian push' as she fielded questions from citizens during a digital town hall. Bowser's latest comments were significantly more forceful than her previous cautious approach to Trump's plans. She had described the federal takeover on Monday as 'unprecedented' but also conceded she wasn't 'totally surprised'. Trump said Monday that he was triggering section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, which allows the president to assume emergency control of the capital's police force for 30 days. Speaking of the more than 100 arrests in DC since the crackdown began, White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told Fox Digital that it was evidence that the move is working. 'President Trump's bold leadership is quickly making our nation's capital safer,' he said. 'In less than one week, over 100 violent criminals have already been arrested and taken off of the streets in Washington, D.C. President Trump is delivering on his campaign promise to clean up this city and restore American Greatness to our cherished capital.' Many liberals are angry at the DC crime crackdown and cite statistics showing crime was down in 2024 compared to 2023 as evidence that Trump has gone too far. But other Democrats have warned that by mocking Trump's crackdown, they risk isolating many centrist or progressive voters who have themselves fallen victim to crime in the city.

Boy, 16, who was arrested on suspicion of murder after death of 13-year-old girl is released on bail
A teenage boy who was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 13-year-old girl has been released on bail. The 16-year-old boy was arrested in Huddersfield after police were called to a flat in Sheepridge Road on Monday night at 11.36pm after a report that a girl was unresponsive. She died in hospital in the early hours of Tuesday morning, West Yorkshire Police confirmed. The force said detectives are working to understand the circumstances of the girl's death which is being treated as unexplained after a post-mortem examination could not establish how she died. The teenager has been released on conditional bail. He was also released on conditional bail regarding an alleged rape relating to a 16-year-old girl in a separate incident elsewhere in the Kirklees district. Inquiries into both incidents are ongoing, police said. A postmortem examination into the teenage girl's death conducted yesterday concluded that her death was unexplained pending further investigation. DCI Stacey Atkinson of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said 'We are continuing to conduct a number of enquiries today following the death of a 13-year-old girl following an incident at a flat on Sheepridge Road. 'A post mortem was not able to determine how she died, and we continue to treat her death as unexplained at this time, pending more enquiries. 'Those enquiries are complex and are likely to be lengthy as we work to fully understand the circumstances of the girl's death. Specially trained officers are supporting her family at this time.' People have paid their respects to the 13-year-old girl and her family at this sad time. Salma Zubair said: 'Words fail me. Absolutely shocked. Can't even imagine what her family is going through.' Sue Sunderland added: 'Deep Peace to the poor young girl. Sincere condolences to her family and friends, and thoughts to other poor girl who suffered so much as well. So many families and friends are affected by these horrible events.' A resident of the modern stone housing development on the quit cul de sac street described the death as 'absolutely disgusting' and 'terrible', while another local added: 'I feel so sorry for the poor girl's family. Thirteen is no age to die.'

Sickening news for Dems as Trump's polls surge again amid DC crime crackdown that's sparked woke fury
Donald Trump 's approval rating is currently higher than former President Joe Biden 's when it comes to crime, CNN's senior political data reporter has revealed. In fact, the gap between the two was so big, Harry Enten used a Michael Jordan analogy to convey how the conservative was leagues above his predecessor when it came to their handling of the issue. 'I think this sort of gives the game away here, because Donald Trump is like Air Jordan towering over Joe Biden when it comes to their handling of crime,' Enten said on Thursday's NewsCentral, referring to the iconic Nike sneakers named after the basketball star. The data-driven sermon came days after Trump's federal takeover of the police force in Washington DC over a disturbing slew of violent crimes in the capital. The figures showed Trump's net approval rating for crime sitting at +1 for his second term as of August, in contrast to the -13 he secured during his first. Biden, after one term, had a favorability of -26 points. Enten could not help but marvel at the 27 point gap between the two. 'I think that Democrats have to get it around their heads that Americans are far more hawkish on crime than they think that are,' he told Dana Bash. 'Where was he last year? He was way underwater at minus 13 points,' Enten continued. 'Americans view Trump far more favorably now on crime than they did a year ago.' 'I think this sort of gives the game away here, because Donald Trump is like Air Jordan towering over Joe Biden when it comes to their handling of crime,' he said, following Trump's federal takeover of Washington, DC's, police. ' Crime is one of Trump's best issues. It's one of the reasons why he wants to talk about crime because it favors him.' Enten then explained how the poll did not take into account 'what's exactly happening in DC right now,' but was still conducted after Trump deployed the National Guard to quash protests against ICE in LA. 'And Americans, for the most part, actually view Trump favorably,' Enten said, speaking from a national perspective. 'It'll be very interesting when you can see polling that what's happening right now settling in,' Bash, the network's chief political correspondent, observed. Enten responded with the 'Air Jordan analogy,' using it to convey what he saw as a clear consensus from Americans across the country 'Americans vastly prefer Donald Trump's approach to crime than they did to Joe Biden's,' he concluded, ogling the 27 point gap 'And again, I think it gets back to the point that Americans are far more hawkish on crime than a lot of Democrats want to admit.' Enten added how Biden's score served as a reminder that crime was 'one' of the Democrat's 'worst issues.' Enten could not hold back his awe as he analyzed figures showing Trump's net approval rating for crime sitting at +1 for his second term as of August - 27 points higher than Biden's had been during his term - on-air 'Granted, pretty much every issue was one of Biden's worst issues,' he added. Many Democrats and liberals have expressed outrage over Trump's federal takeover from DC. Their criticisms have ranged from accusations of anti-black racism to claims Trump is acting like an authoritarian dictator. Statistics show crime has fallen in DC over the last year. But the capital is still plagued with violent lawlessness - much of it perpetrated by teenagers. Some liberal commenters have said many of their left-leaning friends are secretly happy about what Trump is doing and excited by the prospect of safer streets. Former MSNBC star Chris Matthews said his friends in the city won't walk more than three blocks from their homes after dark. Back on CNN, Enten also pointed to another poll, from May of this year, that showed Republicans' approach to quashing crime as a party were favored by Americans nationwide by an almost-as-impressive 16 points. 'They actually gained ground on crime. They were maintaining their edge and actually added a little bit to it,' Enten said. 'So Republicans in the House, Republicans in the Senate, they absolutely want to be talking about crime. 'The more they feel that we are talking about crime, the better they feel that electoral landscape is for them,' he concluded. Trump, on Monday, justified his takeover of the municipality by declaring a 'crime emergency'. Troops arrived there on Tuesday morning.
