‘Political phoney': Alex Stein reacts to Stephen Colbert's show being cancelled
Colbert's top-rated Late-night talk show in the US was cancelled last week by CBS, with the network explaining it was a 'financial decision'.
'Stephen Colbert at one point was a great comedian. The Daily Show, even with Jon Stewart, both were great, but now they are just such political phonies,' Mr Stein told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
'I am happy to see Stephen Colbert go ... give us some comedy, not a lecture.'

‘No appetite at all': King delivers brutal message to Prince Andrew over Epstein scandal
Entertainment Reporter Bronte Coy claims there's 'no appetite' from the British public for Prince Andrew to return to royal duties. Ms Coy's comments come as Prince Andrew's hopes of returning to royal duties have been firmly shut down by King Charles, despite the FBI confirming it will not pursue any further charges in the Jeffrey Epstein case. 'There's no appetite from the British public over here for him to return to royal duties. There seems to be no appetite at all from the King,' Ms Coy told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. 'He doesn't have that public life, and there really doesn't look like they'll ever be a return to it.'

Major truth bomb dropped about Obama administration's ‘bluff' on Russia hoax
Sky News host James Morrow discusses the 'great tell' in a declassified intelligence report about the former Obama administration and the 2016 Russia hoax scandal. 'This report was called Assessing Russian Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections, and it looked at Russia and the Russia hoax and found that the intelligence community's assessment of the Russians' hacking of the 2016 election was extremely fraudulent,' he said. 'The report was used to tar Trump, included the line Putin's inner circle strongly preferred Republicans over Democrat candidates because they judged that Republicans had historically been less focused on democracy and human rights. 'This is what poker players call a tell; a sign that the people behind this knew they were trying to bluff everyone.'
