Brooklyn Park woman killed in rollover crash on I-694
The Minnesota State Patrol said 21-year-old Fatuma Yussuf Sharif-Isaack was heading westbound on Interstate 694 near Highway 10 when her vehicle crossed from the right lane into the left shoulder and hit the guardrail.
The vehicle rolled over and hit another car before coming to a stop. The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m.
Sharif-Isaack was taken to Hennepin Healthcare, but did not survive the crash. The state patrol said she was not wearing a seat belt.
Two passengers in her vehicle — a 21-year-old Brooklyn Park woman and a 20-year-old Fridley woman — were hospitalized for survivable injuries.
The other vehicle's sole occupant — a 41-year-old woman from Maplewood — was uninjured.

LAPD detectives search for hit-and-run driver that severely injured pedestrian in Panorama City
Los Angeles police are searching for a hit-and-run driver that struck a pedestrian in Panorama City on Tuesday night, leaving them with severe injuries. It happened at around 11:30 p.m. as the pedestrian was walking in westbound lanes of Roscoe Boulevard near Tobias Avenue, according to an LAPD news release. Texas school bus carrying over 40 students crashes on 1st day of school
A school bus carrying over 40 children and one adult on the first day of the new school year rolled over onto its side in Austin, Texas, on Wednesday, leaving 12 injured, officials said. The bus was carrying students from the Leander Independent School District in northwest Austin in Travis County.
