Veteran actress Moushumi Chatterjee had earlier talked about a distasteful remark made by the late superstar Rajesh Khanna, who questioned whether the father of her daughter was her husband Jayanta Mukherjee or actor Vinod Mehra. Chatterjee, however, didn't hold back and responded with a sharp retort that reportedly caught Khanna off guard. In a recent interview, she revisited the incident once again.
During a candid conversation with Nayandeep Rakshith, Moushumi Chatterjee shared that no one was expecting that she would give a befitting reply to Rajesh Khanna's 'nasty' remark. 'People used to get angry because I was never bothered so much. They used to be like, chalo time mila toh isko cheddte hain, so I used to give it back,' she shared.
'He thought that is fun. A lot of people who pass nasty remarks don't realise that they are actually showing what they are. You come from that surrounding. Nobody thought I can give it back. I was always like that. I never cared if you are a superhero or super heroine or anything like that. I think as a human being. If you are super, even while working as a spot boy, salute from me,' the veteran actress added.

Despite the incident, Moushumi Chatterjee continued to share screen space with Rajesh Khanna. 'I did movies with him after that as well. It was never awkward between me and him. Raat gayi, baat gayi. He also distanced himself, thinking she wasn't an easy nut to crack,' she revealed.
During an interview with Lehren Retro, Chatterjee revealed that while responding to Khanna's 'nasty' remark, she referenced his children with Dimple Kapadia and said, 'Yes, I gave him back. I asked him, 'Is it Rishi Kapoor's child or yours?'' Her reply left him speechless.

Rajesh Khanna once revealed real reason why Dimple Kapadia never divorced him

The tag of India's first-ever superstar is associated with none other than Rajesh Khanna. The iconic late actor left no stone unturned in entertaining fans to the fullest. With movies like Aradhana, Anand, Amar Prem, Namak Haraam, Avishkaar, The Train, among others, Rajesh Khanna is known for his performances, even more than a decade after his passing. Fondly called Kaka, Khanna's professional life was celebrated, while his personal life also made headlines. Rajesh was married to actress Dimple Kapadia. The actress was hardly 15 when she tied the knot with the superstar. However, their wedding did not last long, and they eventually separated. Though the couple went their separate ways, they never formally divorced until his demise in 2012. A video that has resurfaced online shows Kaka reflecting on Dimple's decision not to grant him a divorce. The video is now making the rounds on the internet. Rajesh Khanna, in the video, can be heard saying, 'We did live separately. Abhi tak divorce nahi diya. (She has not given me a divorce yet). She doesn't give reasons—best known to her. I can only say that she chose not to get a divorce. It's her choice. Dilon ki baat hai (It is a matter of the heart). The knots and seven pheras are part of an institution of marriage that seems outdated in today's modern times, as per many people. Some people share, while others don't disclose.' Rajesh Khanna's love life was known to all. After separating from Dimple Kapadia, rumours made headlines that Kaka was romantically involved with Tina Munim (now Tina Ambani). However, one of his iconic affairs—which was not hidden from anyone—was with Anju Mahendru. Though Kaka and Anju were never married, they had a live-in relationship. Media reports claim that Kaka did propose to Anju for marriage even before getting married to Dimple. However, the actress turned down the offer, saying that she wanted to focus on her career at that point in time and was not ready for marriage.

Sree Vishu's Single is now on OTT: When and where to watch the Telugu entertainer

Watch out for this Telugu drama, Single, on OTT now. If you're looking for a breezy rom-com with a twist of chaos, misadventures, and unexpected love triangles, Single might just be your perfect weekend watch. After a successful theatrical run, the film has now made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video, and what sets this release apart is its pan-Indian appeal—available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Directed by Caarthick Raju, Single mixes charm, confusion, and comedy in a delightfully modern take on the timeless search for love. At the heart of Single is Vijay, a bank employee played by Sree Vishnu, who is desperate to end his bachelor status. When he lays eyes on Purva (Ketika Sharma), it's love at first sight. But instead of just striking up a conversation, Vijay goes the extra (and hilariously risky) mile by staging a fake rescue mission at a metro station to impress her. His plan, involving hired rowdies, is supposed to paint him as a heroic saviour, but things take a turn when Harini (Ivana), an unsuspecting onlooker, falls for him instead. What follows is a classic yet quirky love triangle, with Vijay trying to pursue Purva while simultaneously navigating Harini's growing affection. Adding to the chaos is Vennela Kishore as Aravind, Vijay's childhood friend, who brings comic relief with his trademark wit. The film also boasts memorable cameos from Reba Monica John, Narne Nithin, and Maanasa Choudhary, while seasoned actors like VTV Ganesh and Kalpalatha lend a solid presence to the supporting actor has films like Mrithyu'n'jay, Vishnu Vinyasam and a tentatively named film title- SV20, in the pipeline.
