Did Selena Gomez Reveal That Logan Lerman Joined the Only Murders in the Building Cast?

There's a chance that Selena Gomez just unwittingly (or maybe purposefully) revealed that Logan Lerman has joined the cast of the Emmy-winning series, Only Murders in the Building.
Gomez, who was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Mabel on the Hulu show, shared a carousel of photos on Instagram on Saturday, April 5, potentially revealing new cast members on the show. The photo dump was a mixture of personal photos of Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco, along with some behind-the-scenes pics from what appears to be the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building. She captioned it, 'a few memories… 🩷'
In one picture in particular, Gomez stands on set with her two main co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin, along with series newcomers Christoph Waltz and Renée Zellweger — who were announced last month to be part of the show, along with Keegan-Michael Key and Téa Leoni. But standing next to Zellweger is Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman. The surprising addition has not yet become public, leaving fans to believe that Gomez's innocent social media post might be the big reveal. Was she just casually posting without realizing it? Perhaps.
The reason we know she's on set is because of another photo in the same post of Gomez with Martin and Short, sitting in their actors' chairs, reading their lines.
The beloved true crime comedy has grown in popularity since its debut in 2021. Since then, the series has welcomed a host of A-list talent — including Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Cara Delevingne, Tina Fey, Jane Lynch, and more.
It's unclear who Logan Lerman is playing on the show, which follows Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin as they solve murders that occur within their New York City apartment building. Maybe a new suspect? Time will tell.

Babies on the brain. Benny Blanco revealed that he and his fiancée Selena Gomez are already thinking about having kids. 'I love kids; I love being an uncle. I want to be a dad, though, God willing,' Blanco said in an interview with InStyle published Wednesday. 'I'm just dreaming and praying every day,' he said of starting a family. The couple already took the next big step in their relationship in February by purchasing a $35 million Spanish-style estate in Beverly Hills, Calif. 'I love making a house my own,' Blanco told the outlet. 'I'm not in there with the staple gun, but I'm in there with tchotchkes and a lot of creativity and heart. I hate it when you go into a person's house and you're like, 'Ooh, it feels like nobody lives here!' I don't want to be scared to sit down on s–t.' The music producer admitted that he learned most of his relationship advice from his mom before he and Gomez became serious. 'My mom always took the time to explain how a female mind works because she was going through so many dating traumas when I was growing up,' he shared of his mother, who is divorced from his dad. 'I've had some tough times, but I've always been like a very happy person. I just wake up stoked every day,' he said. While Blanco claimed there have been no men in his life to teach him about 'emotional competency,' he has learned what not to do by observing his friends' dating lives. 'Some things [I] learn from friends of mine. I see them do something stupid, and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I'll never do that in a relationship,'' he said. 'Then sometimes you see your friend do something rad, and you're like, 'Ooh, I'm taking that little idea.'' He added, 'You stop learning when you stop listening.' Over the years, Blanco has learned that men struggle to actually listen to what women want. 'I think people's biggest problem, especially men, is we don't listen all the time… A woman will tell you exactly what she needs,' he said. At 37 years old, Blanco hopes that he knows 'how to treat a woman by now.' 'Like, you should always ask a woman what they wanna do. Don't always talk about yourself. Then you put it into practice… and you f–k up so much, oh my God,' he said, before asking, 'You know how many frogs I had to kiss to get to Selena?' While Blanco acknowledged that his exes were 'beautiful frogs,' he emphasized that most guys are 'so bad' with women. 'I know so many awesome women who are single. And it's like, how are they single? They're 10 out of 10!' he said. 'But there are so many f–kboys. Don't settle, ladies. Not for some dude that uses more hair gel than you do.' The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress, 32, and Blanco went public with their love in December 2023 — six months after they started dating. A year later, they got engaged. While Blanco has been open about wanting to have kids with Gomez for quite some time, the singer revealed last year that she can't carry her own children due to medical issues. However, Gomez, who suffers from lupus, confirmed to Vanity Fair that she would be interested in starting a family by using a surrogate or adopting. 'It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I'm one of those people,' she told the outlet at the time. 'I'm excited for what that journey will look like, but it'll look a little different.'

Written by Cahn and directed by Alex Graves, the Season 2 finale, titled 'Dreadnought,' does provide both the audience and the characters with the answers they are desperately seeking. But at what cost? A pretty steep one, that's for sure. Russell earned an Emmy nomination for her performance as the ambassador to the UK, and Season 2 has already racked up a few major nomination including a DGA Awards nod for Graves and Golden Globes recognition for Russell and Janney. Here is the script for 'Dreadnought' with an intro by Cahn, in which she describes how she tried to do a 'non-sh*tty' version of the idea for the big 'Hal kills the President' finale plot twist that may have sounded 'stupid' and 'problematic' at first, and the one line in the script that reassured her that they have pulled it off. Every idea, when it first drops, sounds stupid. Maybe not every, but a lot of them, and 'Hal kills the President' sounded particularly Vice President has done a very bad thing. Hal, believing his wife Kate would be a better vice president anyway, tells the President about the bad thing and the President drops was problematic on a number of levels. One, our fictional president was a white male of a certain age, who bore a passing resemblance to Joe Biden, who was, when we were writing the story, running for a second term. Our season was slated to drop four days before the election. Suggesting that a white male president of a certain age hears a piece of bad news and drops dead in the Oval seemed if it didn't rhyme with the real election, President clutches chest and expires behind Resolute Desk sounded lame. But it was the finale, and anything finale-worthy was likely to sound lame in its baldest form, so I found myself saying, 'Yes, but we'll do the not-shitty version,' like that was some sort of literary device I'd learned from a close reading of not-shitty version required underplaying pretty much everything. We didn't want to see it happen, we just wanted to see Hal telling Kate. We didn't want to see Hal freak out. We wanted to see him caught in some kind of administrative snaggle – he needs to call his wife, he needs his cell phone, but he's in the CIA station and they don't allow cell phones in the station, so somebody's getting their assistant to call Kate's assistant and he finally erupts – slams his hand on the glass wall and says, 'Get my wife on the phone.'It seemed important that the eruption be both vocal and physical. We'd delayed it and contained it and this would be the only place where the magnitude of the situation was visible. I try not to write a lot of stage directions so that when they appear they make an impact. I even used all caps, which I also try to avoid. SLAMS. When we were filming the scene, I asked our director, Alex Graves, if it felt like a SLAM or just a slam because I really wanted it to be a SLAM, and Alex pointed out that if Rufus Sewell hit the glass any harder it would shatter, and perhaps we could make the slam a SLAM in then there was Hal's delivery of the news. Hal struggles to find the words, and lands on, 'He got really upset.'That's when I decided it would be okay. Which is what happens. An idea sounds implausible or trite and you spend a lot of time trying to build it out and ground it and support it with a great deal of research and nuance and complexity, but ultimately you have to fall in love with some piece of it, and for me it was that line, describing the cardiac death of a president.'He got really upset.' Leah Remini revealed where she and Jennifer Lopez stand after their fallout over Ben Affleck. The 'King of Queens' alum shared that she and the pop star started communicating again when they both filed for divorce from their respective spouses in August 2024. Rumors of Lopez and Remini's falling-out began swirling when the latter was notably absent from her BFF's 2022 wedding to the 'Gone Girl' star. At the time, TMZ reported that Remini was busy helping her daughter prepare for college. However, Page Six later learned that the former Scientologist skipped the ceremony because she didn't agree with Lopez's decision to wed Affleck. An insider told us that Remini warned the 'Let's Get Loud' singer to remember why she called off her first engagement to Affleck back in 2004. Per our source, Remini told Lopez that the actor was 'selfish' and 'not fully committed as a partner.' ' was so mad, she cut off all ties,' we were told. But we learned in May 2024 that the longtime friends had reconciled.
