Nick Jonas Cast As Paul Stanley In KISS Biopic
Nick Jonas will aim to make moviegoers rock'n'roll all night when he stars as KISS vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley in an authorized biopic about the face-painted rockers, Shout It Out Loud. Per Deadline, the project will be directed by McG and will go into production before the end of the year or in early 2026. The report says Jonas will do his own singing in the film but will require training to mimic the style of Stanley, whose high-register yelps and attitudinal crowd banter set a template for generation of rock vocalists to come. Jonas is currently on Broadway in the musical The Last Five Years and has also acted in the FX TV series Kingdom and such films as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. More from Spin: Belinda Gets 'Indómita' After 48 Years, Talking Heads' 'Psycho Killer' Has A Video With Their New Single, 2ŁØT and Aloe Blacc Inspire Us to Become 'Immortal' Shout It Out Loud will zero in on KISS' 1973 formation in gritty downtown New York and their subsequent rise to global fame. Beyond Jonas as Stanley, no actors have yet been cast as fellow original members Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. KISS retired from full-production live shows in December 2023 ahead of being reborn as digital avatars, but will play an 'unmasked' electric set as part of the fan event KISS Army Storms Vegas at Virgin Hotels from Nov. 14-16. As for Jonas, he'll be quite busy on the road with his brothers as part of an extensive tour beginning Aug. 10 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Tuurny Announces Breakthrough in AI-Powered PCB Repair Automation, Backed by NASA-Funded Grant Through SATOP
06/04/2025, College Station, TX // KISS PR Brand Story PressWire // Tuurny, a robotics and AI company specializing in advanced automation systems for electronics repair, has announced the development of a groundbreaking AI assistant designed to detect and guide repairs for faults on printed circuit boards (PCBs). The innovation stems from a year-long collaboration with undergraduate and graduate engineering teams at Texas A&M University and has been made possible through a NASA-funded grant administered by the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP). Tuurny's proprietary platform combines computer vision and a custom large language model (LLM) to create a truly intelligent assistant—capable of analyzing standard photos and videos of PCBs to detect faults, assess repair viability, and deliver step-by-step guidance to technicians. The system continuously monitors progress through real-time visual feedback and allows for dynamic technician interaction, enabling both trainees and professionals to perform complex repairs with precision and confidence. 'With the support of local leaders like Jose Quintana from AdventGX, organizations such as the Greater Brazos Partnership, and technical advisors from engineering firms like TStar, we've been able to turn high-concept ideas into working solutions,' said Sina Ghashghaei, CEO of Tuurny. 'These partnerships have laid the foundation for building companies that not only push the frontier of innovation but also create local jobs in national security-critical industries.' Strategic Impact on Aerospace and Defense Tuurny's technology is particularly relevant to the aerospace and defense sectors, where legacy systems often rely on hard-to-source PCBs and where the cost of system downtime can be measured in strategic risk. By enabling rapid, AI-assisted diagnostics and repair—without the need for highly specialized human labor—Tuurny offers a scalable solution for maintaining, extending, and securing mission-critical infrastructure. The company's tools are also designed with onshoring in mind, reducing dependence on foreign repair supply chains and bolstering U.S. capabilities in microelectronics, avionics, and battlefield electronics. As the U.S. pushes for greater self-reliance in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing, Tuurny is building the support layer for a new generation of resilient, intelligent, and automated repair systems. Propelling MSPs: Charting the Course to Unfettered Growth
LOUISVILLE, Colo., June 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- JumpCloud Inc. has released the findings of its first report for managed service providers (MSPs). The 2025 MSP Performance Report shows the key traits of high-growth MSPs versus moderate-growth and stable MSPs. MSPs can use this data to boost their revenue growth and gain operational benefits. Drawing on insights from MSPs in the U.S. and the U.K., the report highlights the following approaches: Most MSPs are growing, but significant booms are rare: The vast majority of MSPs experienced revenue growth, with 89% reporting an increase in 2024 and none reporting a decrease. Yet, only 22% achieved high growth, defined as a revenue increase of over 20%. High-growth MSPs boldly adopt new technologies and changes: High-growth MSPs share a clear pattern: they adopt new technologies, take risks, and adapt to change easily. Embracing technological variety is essential for MSP growth: High-growth MSPs embrace the wider tech landscape. They focus on SaaS applications, productivity suites like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and a mix of device operating systems. Fast-growing MSPs are already actively using artificial intelligence (AI): Seventy-five percent of high-growth MSPs use AI in their internal processes and client services. This shows that adopting AI is key to their success. Unmanaged complexity is a major barrier to MSP growth: Effectively managing complexity is identified as the primary factor influencing MSP growth. Many growing MSPs are finding ways to reduce complexity. They implement strong security policies, use automation, and adopt dedicated SaaS management solutions. Growth in MSPs leads to benefits beyond increased revenue: High-growth MSPs enjoy more than just revenue boosts. They also find it easier to hire and keep staff. Their sales and marketing efforts are more effective. Plus, they see better security results. "We understand that in the fast-paced world of managed services, clarity is key," said Antoine Jebara, co-founder and general manager of MSP business, JumpCloud. "This report cuts through the noise, offering practical, data-backed insights that MSPs can immediately leverage to enhance their service delivery, optimize their operations, and ultimately drive better outcomes for their clients."
