Shanaya Kapoor Looked Every Bit Like A Boss Lady In A Brown Pantsuit

NDTV05-07-2025
Shanaya Kapoor's fashion tales are not only woven in Gen-Z code, but they are also an equal inspiration to millennials. The 25-year-old is ready to make her Bollywood debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, opposite Vikrant Massey. For one promotional campaign for the film, she decided to step out in a chic corporate avatar.
Shanaya Kapoor picked out a loose-fitted brown blazer and black pants from the shelves of clothing brand The Frankie Shop. Lapel collars and padded shoulders offered a structured finish to the tailored blazer. Black buttons shining like orbs at the centre, coupled with double pockets on either side, added to the functionality. Full sleeves, on the other hand, catered to Shanya's love for relaxed fits.
For bottomwear, Shanaya Kapoor slipped into a pair of satin black trousers, from the same label, that skimmed her ankles. Unlike skin-fit numbers, the flared features accentuated her easy-breezy boardroom flair. The look was brilliantly put together by her stylist, Tanya Ghavri. Shanaya, in the two-piece wonder, commanded attention, showcasing her boss-lady charm. We loved how effortlessly classy she looked in the power suit.
Shanaya Kapoor let her OOTD steal the show as she opted for minimal accessories. Golden hoops and rings, minus any necklace or bracelets, were the right jewellery move as they delivered a pop of contrast to her monochrome wear.
In terms of makeup, Shanaya Kapoor's glass-like skin paved the way for the brush strokes to create magic. Blessed with a blemish-free radiance, the debutant went with a dewy base that suited her complexion. She dabbed some blush on the high points of her cheeks and a little amount of contour enhanced her allure. Few drops of highlighter served as the perfect dose of shine. Meanwhile, glossy brown lips and an earthy-themed eye makeover was all it took for Shanaya to stand out.
On a final note, the actress kept her pin-straight short tresses open as they framed her face beautifully. Shanaya Kapoor carried the outfit like a true queen.

Dhanashree Verma aims jab at Yuzvendra Chahal after divorce: ‘Kal uth ke podcast pe aa jaye kya bol de…'

Choreographer, dancer Dhanashree Verma opened up about her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal in a new podcast. While she opened up about crying during their divorce proceedings in court, she also talked about Chahal's viral t-shirt. Amid this, Dhanashree also took a direct dig at her ex-husband, who recently talked about their divorce on Raj Shamani's podcast. Dhanashree Verma on a podcast for Humans of Bombay said, "Pata nahi kaun kal uth ke podcast pe aa jaye kya bol de (You never know what someone might say about you on a podcast). So much fear with that to start off with.' She added, 'Mujhe bhoot se nahi dar lagta. I am not scared of ghosts. I am not scared of dark. It's crazy, It's true. I am actually not scared of ghosts, darkness, heights, nothing. But podcasts.' During the conversation, Dhanashree Verma also commented on her perspective on love after parting ways with Chahal. After she was asked, "What do you think about love, having seen the ups, the downs?", she asserted that she wants 'love' in her life like everyone else. "Somewhere, we all hope, we have that faith, and sometimes love is something that drives you also. Yeah, you know, self-love is necessary, because of course, self-love is number one. You know, love yourself first, then find love," she said. Despite the heartbreak, Verma remains optimistic about life. She said, 'Of course, I agree to all of that, but if there is something good written for me ahead in my life, why not? Yeah, why not? In fact, parents also want the same thing, friends also want the same thing, and I myself want that it should be good. Like, you know, who doesn't want love? Yeah, we are all hungry for love today. That is what is lacking, I feel. We all want it, of course, and it's the most beautiful feeling. It is, it is, it is very Bollywood. Yeah, it is all that ringing, it is all that, you know, flowers falling on you and all of that. Who doesn't want that feeling? We all do. Yeah. And we all must go through that. Everyone should have that kind of love. So, yes, that's my take, like, I will open it with, like, an open universe.' Dhanashree Verma and Chahal married in 2020. Their divorce was finalised earlier this year.

Nora Fatehi On Tamil Debut With Kanchana 4: ‘Language Is A Challenge, But…'

Nora Fatehi is all set for her Tamil debut with Kanchana 4. She calls language a challenge but embraces it, sharing excitement about stepping into Tamil cinema. Nora Fatehi is all set for her Tamil debut as the actor joins Kanchana 4 as the female lead. Kanchana 4 is one of the much-awaited films, and joining it as a lead, especially in a debut, is quite exciting for Nora. She is embracing this new phase of her career with enthusiasm. While talking to Hindustan Times about why she chose Kanchana 4, Nora Fatehi shares, 'When Kanchana 4 was offered to me, I immediately felt it was the right project to step into Tamil cinema. The franchise already has such a strong legacy, and the script was so unique that I wanted to be part of it. I was looking to be a part of another comedy after the success of Madgaon Express." Language has been a challenge, but Nora isn't one to shy away from experiments. 'Of course, language is always a challenge, but I love challenges. It's definitely the hardest so far, but I spend extra hours rehearsing," she explains. With experience in Malayalam and Telugu industries too, Nora reflects on the differences she's noticed. 'Every industry has its own flavour. Tamil cinema is very rooted in storytelling, and there's a lot of emphasis on performance and strong scripts. Bollywood, on the other hand, has its own larger-than-life energy. Both industries are passionate about cinema, but the styles of working, the audience expectations, and even the filmmaking processes feel slightly different. For me, it's exciting to experience and learn from both worlds." All you need to know about Nora Fatehi Nora Fatehi was raised in Toronto by her Moroccan parents. She made her foray into Bollywood with Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans (2014) and became a household name thanks to her stunning dance performances in hit tracks like Dilbar, O Saki Saki, Kamariya, and Garmi across Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam films. A self‑taught dancer who learned belly dance by watching online tutorials, she's also appeared on reality shows like Bigg Boss 9 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. On the work front, Nora Fatehi was last seen in Netflix's series The Royals, sharing screen space with Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Chunky Pandey, and Zeenat Aman. Up next, she is set to appear in the Kannada action drama KD – The Devil, directed by Prem and produced by Suprith under the KVN Productions banner. The film also features Dhruva Sarja, Reeshma Nanaiah, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles. The makers are yet to announce its release date. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
