Proofpoint Joins the Wiz Integration Network (WIN) to Strengthen Cloud Data Security
SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jun 16, 2025-- Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced the general availability of a powerful integration between its Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solution and Wiz, a leader in cloud security. As part of the Wiz Integration Network (WIN), the partnership delivers bi-directional enrichment between Proofpoint DSPM and Wiz's Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), providing joint customers with unprecedented visibility, contextual insights, and control over sensitive data in the cloud. Cloud data risks are top of mind for today's CISOs, and with good reason. According to Wiz's recent cloud data security report, 54% of cloud environments have exposed virtual machines or serverless instances containing sensitive data, such as personally identifiable information (PII) or payment information. Even more alarming, 61% of organizations have confidential information exposed in public repositories. With data volumes and sprawl increasing exponentially, organizations face mounting challenges in protecting sensitive information comprehensively across cloud environments. Proofpoint's integration with Wiz fuses data-centric intelligence from Proofpoint with the rich, prioritized context from the Wiz platform, which unifies all risk signals across the cloud environment. With this unified context, security teams can more accurately quantify the risk of data exposure, hefty regulatory fines, and breaches, and allocate remediation resources with confidence. 'Traditional approaches, which often rely on metadata or sample scans, fall short in an environment where adversaries can weaponize any weak point,' said Amer Deeba, group vice president and general manager of DSPM at Proofpoint. 'Combining Wiz's cloud security insights with Proofpoint's data classification enables security teams to see what sensitive data is stored where, who can access it, and the risks associated with it. This integration shifts the paradigm toward comprehensive risk visibility so that teams can make better, faster decisions backed by high-fidelity data.' 'Wiz gives organizations deep visibility into their cloud environments, while Proofpoint brings rich insight into the sensitive data that lives there,' said Oron Noah, vice president of Product & Extensibility at Wiz. 'Together, we help customers understand where their most critical risks are and can take the right steps to protect them. It's a powerful combination for staying ahead of cloud risks and keeping sensitive data secure.' A Unified Risk Lens for Joint Customers, Designed for Today's Multi-Cloud Reality The integration between Proofpoint DSPM and Wiz, available today, delivers powerful bi-directional enrichment, enabling joint customers to gain comprehensive visibility into their cloud data risk landscape. Proofpoint ingests Wiz Issues that combines multiple risks like vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and other risks and contextualizes this with data exposure findings, while simultaneously sending advanced data classification and sensitivity scoring back to Wiz to enhance risk prioritization across cloud data stores like Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, and Azure. Unlike traditional tools that rely on data sampling, Proofpoint DSPM provides full and continuous scanning of both structured and unstructured data. This enables 100% visibility into what sensitive data exists, how it is classified, and its monetary value—insights that are critical for compliance, post-breach investigations, and proactive risk reduction. This mutual exchange gives security teams a unified risk view and strengthens their ability to detect, prioritize, and mitigate threats more effectively. Proofpoint's DSPM also supports broader integration across its cybersecurity ecosystem—including email security, endpoint DLP, and insider threat management—ensuring seamless protection across vectors. Proofpoint also supports SaaS applications and platforms like Databricks, ensuring broad visibility into sensitive data wherever it lives, not just in cloud infrastructure. Key joint customer benefits include: Demonstration at AWS re:Inforce 2025 Proofpoint will showcase the integration with Wiz at AWS re:Inforce, taking place June 16–18 in Philadelphia. Attendees can learn more about the joint solution during a live demo at the Wiz booth on Tuesday, June 17 at 4:00 PM ET. Lumen Technologies Scales B2B Personalization with Generative AI Innovations in Adobe GenStudio
Lumen Technologies is leveraging Adobe GenStudio solutions to optimize their content supply chain, scaling personalized B2B marketing and boosting customer engagement Lumen reduced the time to launch B2B marketing campaigns from 25 days to 9 days using Adobe GenStudio for Performance Marketing, leveraging generative AI to drive more efficient content production Through Adobe Firefly and Custom Models, teams are quickly generating marketing campaign imagery to engage different audiences, while adhering to brand guidelines defined by creatives SAN JOSE, Calif., June 16, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) announced that enterprise digital networking company Lumen Technologies is embracing Adobe GenStudio to activate generative AI across their organization, shortening the time it takes to deliver personalized business-to-business (B2B) marketing campaigns. Engaging B2B decision makers, who influence major technology investments in their organizations, requires interactions that are highly tailored to their industry, persona and stage in the buying journey. By leveraging GenStudio—Adobe's end-to-end content supply chain solution that optimizes the way marketers and creatives plan, create, manage, activate and measure campaign content—Lumen can scale personalization with AI by dramatically increasing the production of on-brand, contextually relevant content. "Our early investment in fiber infrastructure has positioned Lumen as a trusted partner in powering AI adoption across industries—delivering the secure, scalable, high-performance connectivity our customers need," said Ryan Asdourian, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Lumen Technologies. "Personalization is at the heart of our marketing strategy, and GenStudio is helping us move faster and smarter. By bringing together creativity, AI, and automation, Adobe enables our teams to produce high-impact content at scale—content that resonates, performs, and drives results." "B2B marketing operates within long and complex sales cycles, where contextually relevant content experiences play an important role in deal progression," said Varun Parmar, general manager, Adobe GenStudio and Firefly Enterprise. "As the demand for content rises across channels such as social media, Adobe GenStudio provides a set of integrated AI solutions that alleviate the pressure on Lumen marketers and creatives, scaling on-brand experiences that cater to the unique needs of individual decision makers." Redefining Marketing Campaigns with Generative AI The first interaction that Lumen has with a customer often happens on a digital channel such as social media or email. With multiple touchpoints across a customer journey, thousands of assets have to be created every week to nurture prospects and create high-quality pipeline. Adobe GenStudio enables Lumen to address this challenge by driving more efficient workflows across teams, bringing together creatives that define the foundational requirements of a brand, with marketers that need to activate and optimize variations at scale across channels. Lumen is adopting GenStudio solutions including GenStudio for Performance Marketing, a generative AI-first application that enables teams to quickly create on-brand campaign content for paid social ads, display ads, banners, marketing emails and more. Leveraging persona-based messaging and on-brand design assets, jointly developed between the creative and marketing teams, the company can instantly create content variations for channels such as LinkedIn, Meta and display advertising. This includes AI-generated copy that is tailored to specific audience personas, as well as Adobe Firefly for generating campaign imagery. By integrating Custom Models, which enables teams to train Firefly with their own IP, marketers can scale content production while adhering to brand guidelines defined by creatives. This has dramatically shortened the time it takes to launch campaigns. What once took 25 days from concept to launch can now be done 3 times faster—down to 9 days—with GenStudio for Performance Marketing. The time it takes to create four ad variations for Meta properties across 2 target personas, for instance, was reduced by 65%. Across the 10 industries that Lumen serves, teams can increase the number of touchpoints with B2B decision makers and boost engagement. GenStudio for Performance Marketing also provides performance insights down to the attribute level (colors, objects, locations) for teams to make real-time adjustments to content that drives better results. Optimizing the Lumen Content Supply Chain Adobe GenStudio provides Lumen a single destination for teams to collaborate in real time, generate campaign assets, test creative and adapt campaigns with greater speed, simplifying the web of disconnected workflows, teams and systems that often lead to breakdowns in a businesses' content supply chain. GenStudio solutions including Adobe Workfront (Lumen's work management hub) automatically ingest marketing campaign assets for legal and brand approvals—creating a seamless approval workflow. Lumen is also adopting Adobe Express, the quick and easy app that empowers marketing and creative leaders to reinforce brand integrity, enabling more individuals to easily create and customize content variations they need to drive business outcomes. Lumen is delivering greater organizational agility with Adobe GenStudio, empowering teams to focus on ideas that truly move the business forward. Marketers and creatives at the company are reinventing how they work, democratizing access to generative AI tools that scale content production while preserving quality and consistency. Teams are more data driven in the process as well, leaning on real time performance insights to refine campaigns and make quick adjustments. As generative AI impacts every industry, Lumen is demonstrating the value it brings to the next phase of B2B marketing. LA County shoppers stunned by recent 'Measure A' sales tax hike — some now pay over 11%
Moneywise and Yahoo Finance LLC may earn commission or revenue through links in the content below. If you live in LA County, you could pay more at the checkout. As of April 1, the sales tax rate in unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County — and in cities without their own special tax measures — increased from 9.5% to 9.75%. But that's just the baseline. Many cities across the county — including Long Beach, Glendale and West Hollywood — will now see a 10.5% tax. Others, like Lancaster and Palmdale, have pushed rates even higher, up to 11.25%, after approving additional tax hikes. Thanks to Jeff Bezos, you can now become a landlord for as little as $100 — and no, you don't have to deal with tenants or fix freezers. Find out how you can access this $1B private real estate fund (with as little as $10) The increase follows voters approving Measure A in November 2024, which replaced the existing Measure H quarter-cent tax with a half-cent tax hike. The increase is aimed at funding countywide homeless services. Measure A, a new sales tax in LA County starting April 1, 2025, will raise over $1 billion annually, with 60% going to homeless services and 40% to affordable housing. Some cities, including Santa Monica and Pico Rivera, are now subject to the new tax rules. While the tax increase seems small on minor purchases, it can add up on larger items. In Westlake Village, shoppers are already noticing a difference: The LA County side now pays 9.75%, while the Ventura County side pays 7.25%. 'So if I have a choice, I'm going to the one where it's less,' Laura, a shopper, told CBS News. And Laura isn't alone. 'As soon as I saw the bill today, I was like, whoa! I'm pregnant, so I'm trying to save money during this time,' Brittney Mukar, another shopper, added. Not everyone is convinced the additional funds will be well spent. LA County leaders have faced criticism after an audit from November 2024 found the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) could not track how nearly $2.5 billion in funding was spent. 'I'm all for helping the homeless — I'm not for wasting my money,' said Laura.
