Reliant Home Run Derby with Dallas Cowboys Knocks it Out of the Park Surpassing $1 Million for DFW Nonprofits
FRISCO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--With thousands of fans cheering them on, the Dallas Cowboys stepped up to the plate and swung for the fences at the 12th annual Reliant Home Run Derby. The result: Reliant is donating $113,700 to 22 North Texas nonprofits, surpassing $1 million in total charitable support since the charity event began in 2012.

Cowboys players took turns at bat, with each hit and home run earning a donation from Reliant, raising a total of $76,600 to benefit The Salvation Army of North Texas. Cowboys punter Bryan Anger was named the 2025 Reliant Home Run Derby champion with $13,200 raised and eight home runs. The full Dallas Cowboys lineup included:

One deserving student from The Salvation Army's Gene and Jerry Jones Family Youth Education Town in Arlington also earned the opportunity to throw out the first pitch to a Cowboys player.

Before the Cowboys took to the diamond, Reliant invited local media to try their hand at bat for a good cause in the ninth annual Reliant Media League, which featured 11 reporters from across DFW. Together they raised a total of $27,100 for local North Texas charities.

While he's had his fair share of off-field drama, he has the potential to be a top receiver in the league. Most notably, Prescott now has one of the top receiver duos at his disposal in 2025. Heading into this season, Prescott will be looking to bounce back in a big way for the Cowboys. 2024 was a year to forget for him, as it was cut short due to injury. In a Week 9 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, Prescott suffered a hamstring injury that required surgery and left him sidelined for the remainder of the season. Before going down, the Cowboys star totaled just shy of 2,000 passing yards along with 11 touchdowns. Between returning from injury and having new weapons at his disposal, Prescott has an array of expectations to meet. With Pickens in the mix now, many believe Dallas can have one of the league's top offenses. As the leader on that side of the ball, Prescott will be tasked with maximizing the production of all the players around him. The Cowboys are likely to go through some growing pains, as they have numerous moving parts coming in the season. Aside from trading for Pickens, their biggest offseason change was promoting Brian Schottenheimer to head coach. This could be viewed as a positive for Prescott, as he put together one of the best years of his career when Schottenheimer took over as offensive coordinator. Only time will tell if Prescott can bounce back and be a top-tier QB for the Cowboys or succumb to the weight of all the pressure and expectations.

The social media groups for each franchise have taken pride in recent years by revealing the schedule in unique ways, and oftentimes, opposing teams and players are the butt of the joke. In the video, they depicted a bachelorette party in Nashville being on a bus that runs over Levis, spilling the mayonnaise that he was eating onto the sidewalk. While these jokes are typically in good, clean fun, the Colts crossed the line a number of times. They came under fire for several aspects of their video, prompting them to take it down.
