A home in Pleasington is our property of the week and it's described as a 'truly exquisite' property with space to keep horses if wanted.
The property, with Victorian-inspired features, on Pleasington Lane would be a great home to raise a family as it has four bedrooms and even a self-contained two-bedroom annex on site.
Golf-lovers can take advantage of Pleasington Golf Club, which is located nearby.
Inside the main house, original historic features have been retained and well cared for, including hardwood-framed sash windows, ceiling roses, and decorative coving.
The entrance hall features oak flooring and a spindle staircase, setting the tone for the rest of the home.
Two large reception rooms act as living and dining space, with fireplaces, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light.
The kitchen is fitted with a range of units, granite worktops and a central island. The room is integrated with top-of-the-range appliances.
The kitchen opens onto a breakfast room and leads into a large orangery overlooking the garden.
Additional ground floor accommodation includes a utility room, toilet, and cloakroom, all well-presented and practical for family life.
Upstairs, the main house features four double bedrooms, two of which have en-suite shower rooms. The other two are served by a family bathroom, complete with a roll-top bath and granite vanity unit.
Also on the first floor is a split-level landing and large sash windows, which make the space feel even bigger.
The annexe has its own entrance and provides an independent living space ideal for extended family, guests, or potential rental use.
It includes two bedrooms, each with an en-suite, a fitted kitchen, and a lounge with French doors opening out to the garden.
Outside, the property boasts several outdoor spaces, including a large lawned rear garden with mature trees, shrubs, and planting areas, as well as a side courtyard and a seating area surrounding a pond.
The plot extends into a paddock at the rear, which could be used to keep animals or used for something else entirely, including as a gardening space.
The paddock and part of the grounds can be excluded from the sale if preferred, allowing for a reduced price and more manageable plot size.
A spokesperson for Stones Young Estate and Letting Agents, which is marketing the property, said: 'Presenting a truly exquisite opportunity to own a stunning four-bedroom detached home set in the idyllic village of Pleasington.
'This Victorian double-fronted property exudes elegance and charm, boasting exceptional décor and a generous plot just shy of an acre, including a paddock – a true countryside retreat in the heart of the village and directly across from Pleasington Golf Club.'

Charli xcx's Airport Fit Is a Lesson in London Cool Girl Style

Following her chic London town hall wedding in a classic Vivienne Westwood dress, Charli xcx quickly returned to her usual sleek yet subversive aesthetic. She was recently spotted heading to the airport in a strappy top, some microshorts, her trusty knee-high boots, and a go-to quilted YSL bag. (As a noted longtime fan of Anthony Vaccarello). A look more reminiscent of her Glastonbury headline performance. Photographed once again arriving at London's Heathrow Airport, the Brat superstar ticked off all the elements of a London cool girl outfit formula. She wore a clingy, black, off-the-shoulder top, with black capri pants, and a chunky silver buckle belt. On her feet, a pair of Maison Margiela tabi ballet flats—a shoe you'll see stomping all over east London's markets, in and out of the small plates and wine bars—and a black Balenciaga shoulder bag slung over her shoulder with a lilac scarf attached to the handle. Photo: Backgrid As always, she donned her Saint Laurent sunglasses. In tow, a duo of suitcases from celebrity favorite luggage brand, Rimowa.

Woman Is 'Fed Up' with Her 'Boring' Boyfriend of 7 Years: 'We've Got 1 Life, and It Should Be at Least Enjoyed a Little'

The woman said her partner "just seems to have no interest in doing anything" with her or their 6-year-old child A woman is contemplating her relationship with her longtime boyfriend — because she finds him "boring." "I'll start off by saying, by no means am I adventurous, but we've got 1 life, and it should be at least enjoyed a little," the woman wrote in a post on the U.K.-based forum Mumsnet. Explaining that her partner "just seems to have no interest in doing anything," the woman further detailed, "He doesn't drink, [which is] fair enough, so ... pubs/clubs [are] out of the equation, he's overweight so hardly ever wants to eat out, as he's on a diet constantly." "He doesn't enjoy the socializing that comes with us having a 6-year-old, so he doesn't come to the park/library/play dates even when I ask," the woman continued of her boyfriend, adding: "He likes football, but doesn't enjoy watching it in person or at the pub, [and] he won't go to a concert/music event." According to the woman, she and her boyfriend "actually do nothing together, and I don't know if I am being unreasonable for being fed up or if he should make more effort." "We have nothing in common, but I'm willing to compromise," she continued. "I'd go to a football match or I'd love him to come to a music event. He doesn't have to love it, it would just be spending that time together." The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! The woman also said, "There are always reasons why he doesn't want to do something, yet if I do ever do something without ... asking, he sulks as to why he wasn't invited." "I don't miss out, because I end up doing these things with friends, but honestly, we've been together 7 years, and if I have to endure this forever, what is the point?" added the frustrated woman. As she questioned if she was in the wrong to "be fed up" with "how boring my partner is," the woman was met with support from fellow Mumsnet users. "I think you need to put it on the table as a dealbreaker, and that you see his complete lack of interest in doing anything as either a couple or a family as meaning the relationship is reaching the end of the line for you," one commenter wrote. "He's chosen to have a partner and a baby, and that means he needs to nurture both of those relationships, even if he doesn't love every hour of it. He's being selfish." is now available in the Apple App Store! Download it now for the most binge-worthy celeb content, exclusive video clips, astrology updates and more! Others, meanwhile, questioned the woman about why she would have a child with the man in the first place. In a follow-up comment, she revealed, "I fell pregnant unexpectedly after the first time I slept with him. Yes, cliché, I know." The woman further clarified in another comment: "I did know him beforehand as a friend, he used to go to pubs, as that's where we met. I think he's just outgrown that scene, which is fine, but he doesn't enjoy doing anything else." Read the original article on People Solve the daily Crossword
