Pensacola man dies after being hit by car in Baldwin County: ALEA
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A man from Pensacola is dead after Alabama State Troopers say he was hit by a car Monday night while walking on a county road.
1 shot, taken to hospital: Mobile police
According to a news release from ALEA, 60-year-old Stanley Montgomery from Pensacola died when he was hit by a car Monday evening, just before 6:30 Feb. 10, near the intersection of County Road 32 and Baldwin County 84.
A news release said Montgomery died at the scene.
The crash happened four miles east of the Summerdale city limits. State Troopers identified the driver and had no further details on what happened.

Summerdale bicyclist dies days after expressing concern over traffic safety
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Summerdale bicyclist has died after he was hit by a truck Friday night in Baldwin County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. (WKRG) — A former Bayou La Batre police officer who was arrested in November has now been arrested again, has learned. MCSO: One detained in Eight Mile shooting on Markris Circle According to a Mobile County Sheriff's Office news release, B.J. Squires was arrested today after violating the terms of his bond. Squires was arrested in November following an investigation by the sheriff's office and the Mobile County District Attorney's Office. That investigation led to a grand jury indictment on charges of first-degree rape, second-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree sexual abuse, the release said. The terms of his bond required Squires to 'not depart from State,' but the DA's office received information that Squires had gone to a baseball game in Biloxi, Miss., June 5, the release said. The DA's office immediately filed a motion to revoke Squires' bond and signed a warrant for his arrest, the release said. Hundreds run across iconic Mobile bridge to help Africatown Mobile County Sheriff's deputies found Squires today and arrested him, along with two other individuals, on Dauphin Island Parkway, the release stated.
