A legendary 90s pop icon looked unrecognisable in a new video, 26 years after releasing a major hit record. Lolly - whose real name is Anna Shantha Kumble - shocked fans as she landed on her TikTok platform, looking worlds away from her eccentric 90s look. The British singer and dancer, 48, is well-remembered for bangers as the 1999 single Viva La Radio as part of her First Album, releasing chart-topping hits as Mickey and Big Boys Don't Cry. She followed with a second studio album called Pick 'n' Mix in 2000, reaching the 80th position in the UK chart. Apart from the two albums, the pop star released five top 20 singles over her two-year career in music. And now, Lolly took to her social media platform calling out all the nostalgics as she introduced herself. Lolly - whose real name is Anna Shantha Kumble - shocked fans as she landed on her TikTok platform, looking worlds away from her eccentric 90s look (pictured in 2000) 'Hello. It's Lolly here. A blast from your past. Or maybe not?,' she said. 'Yes so I am Lolly. I sang some songs back in 1999 and 2000. Can you guess what they are?' the singer asked fans. She concluded: 'Well, you know what? Follow my channel and you can ask me any questions and I will spill all the beans.' The music alum looked as she didn't age a day sporting a stylish baby blue blouse, while plenty of music records were visible behind her in the room. Throughout the years, Lolly also acted as a stand-in for presenter Anna Williamson some Saturday and Sunday mornings on now-axed kids show Toonattik on CITV. Emotional moment Katie Price broke down in tears after being banned from seeing daughter Princess on Ibiza holiday
KATIE Price has revealed the emotional moment she broke down in tears after being banned from seeing Princess on her Ibiza holiday. It comes after The Sun revealed the secret rift between the mother and daughter. 6 6 6 6 Daughter Princess, 18, is set to star in an ITV2 show titled The Princess Diaries. Katie has previously bashed those working with her daughter after The Sun revealed her secret heartache about being cut out of her TV show - and has vowed not to watch it. It now turns out that Princess was filming the show in Ibiza at the same time as her mum was on the party island. However, in a shock revelation Katie revealed that she bumped into Princess' film crew, but she wasn't allowed to see her daughter. Speaking on the latest edition of The Katie Price Show podcast, she revealed: "When I was in Ibiza, Princess was there in Ibiza, and I wasn't allowed to meet up with her. "But funny enough, I walked into a bar, and there was a group of people and it was the producer of her show, and they came up to me and said, we're producing the show. I burst out crying and this producer would know it, and said, 'I'm so upset'. ''It's my daughter. I want to be involved. But that side stops me.'" Continuing, she said: "I was in tears and I never cry. "She saw how upset I was and I could see that she was in a situation because she knows it's right that I should be seeing support in my daughter, and I'm not. "I don't know where it's going to go from here. Katie Price takes another savage swipe at ex Peter Andre and says Princess is 'scared to tell the truth' "But it's all right for them to not have me in the show, but I'm all right to be used for headlines for the show." It comes after The Sun revealed the secret rift between Katie and Princess. We revealed how Katie was left "devastated" when telly bosses told Princess to "distance herself" from her famous mum. Sources said producers deliberately cut the former glamour model out of forthcoming ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries, because it is 'not good for Princess to be seen with Katie '. In a bid to market the youngster as a pretty, middle-class influencer, they even turned down Katie's team's offer to film for free for three days. An insider previously told us: "Katie feels isolated and disregarded. "She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming. "But with all her expertise in the field, Kate obviously hoped to help steer her career — oversee contracts, advise her on press, that sort of thing. 6 'She has seen and done it all, and hoped to instil some wisdom and advice on how to handle fame. 'But ITV2 execs have made it clear they want nothing to do with her. "Princess has been advised to distance herself from her outspoken mum, and is perhaps too young and shy to defy orders." Also in the latest episode of The Katie Price Show, Pricey took a savage swipe at her ex Peter Andre - saying Princess is "scared to tell the truth". 6 The former couple were married from 2005 to 2009, welcoming two children together. Speaking on her podcast, she said: "She needs to have knock backs to know, work and appreciate the industry. I've tried to tell her this. "I think she's just too scared because she doesn't want to upset the management and all of that. "Everything they get her, I know I can get her and I wouldn't take a cut. It's all about money at the end of the day." Katie added: "I am fuming about the situation but at the same time I want Princess to do well and I back her in every way. "I need to just air what it is. It has become a serious situation - and the family, we're all fuming about it. "Not one member of our family or anything are involved in anything Princess does. Why? Because we're not allowed." Katie Price's love life We take a look back at the highs and lows of Katie Price's relationship history. 1996-1998: Katie got engaged to Gladiators star Warren Furman - aka Ace - with a £3,000 ring. 'Everything's on the table'
For Swansea City's new-look hierarchy, the sky is the limit."At this point, everything's on the table," said the club's chief executive officer Tom legend Luka Modric and rap icon Snoop Dogg both became investors in the Championship side in the months that followed the takeover led by American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen last Gorringe says the high-profile duo are already making their mark."The attention is the first part, but what we've seen already, particularly with Snoop in the last two weeks, he's opened a lot of doors, he's provided us with opportunities we wouldn't have had access to before," the CEO explained."I think there's a lot of exciting things in the pipeline." Former Bristol Rovers CEO Gorringe was promoted to the role of chief executive officer just a month after Swansea announced his arrival as chief operating officer in represented another significant change to the club's structure in what has been a period of major overhaul for the side that ended the 2024-25 Championship season in 11th place."We've made a lot of changes in six months," said Gorringe."Luka and Snoop joining the ownership group has been a lot of fun, brought a lot of attention to the club and ultimately opened a lot of doors for us."We've been quite active in the transfer market so far, we've got some more work to do there."We've also made a number of changes internally to try and operate more efficiently and to drive the culture and get everyone pulling in the same direction. So it's been a really busy period."Gorringe confirmed that Snoop Dogg and Modric will both visit Swansea at some stage while his response of "never say never" when asked if more high-profile names will purchase a stake in the Swans in future typifies the club's current vision. Increasing revenue has been among the priorities of the current ownership group - and the arrivals of Birmingham City and Wrexham into the Championship from League One typify why this is the Blues posted a turnover of £29.6m for the year ending June 2024 - with Wrexham announcing a club record turnover of £26.7m for same figures are higher than the £21.5m figure posted by the Championship Swans for the same time is why Gorringe says the club remain open to all possibilities, including potentially emulating the highly-successful Welcome to Wrexham documentary made by the north Wales side's Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney."When I was coming into the club and speaking to the owners about their vision and strategy, this [bringing in high-profile investors] was always a part of it," he said."We wanted to build something here that was special and that the city can be proud of."Those names [Modric and Snoop Dogg] were discussed all along so it's been in the pipeline for a while. Luka's really passionate about the project, he's humble and he's been a great asset for us in terms of the football side."Snoop is incredibly passionate and really competitive. He's a huge global star with a huge audience and a massive personality."It's a great opportunity for Swansea as a whole to get behind the club and what we're trying to do here."And on those now spearheading the club, Gorringe commented: "The ownership are extremely ambitious. "They've delivered on every part of that so far. They want us to progress and ultimately want us to improve in every area as quickly as possible."I speak to them every day, they want to help us try and find solutions and they're exactly what you would want from an ownership group." In the build-up to their Championship opener against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday (15:00 BST), the Swans have recruited six players for the first Ham United defender Kaelan Casey joined on a season-long loan to follow Zeidane Inoussa, Bobby Wales, Cameron Burgess, Ricardo Santos and Ethan Galbraith in linking up with Alan Sheehan's Gorringe is under no illusions that the Swans must continue to be active over the final stages of the summer window to ensure the squad is capable of coping with the rigours of a 46-game second tier campaign."We got off to a really good start. I think the window generally moves in phases," he said."In that first phase, you have a pool of players that are keen to get in for pre-season and I think we operated really well in that part of the window."The second part is more difficult, there's still four weeks left of the window. The calibre of players we're going after will have options."Nobody has an unlimited budget; we have to operate in a financially sensible way to make sure we can get the right deals that enable us to maximise our playing budget and compete at the best possible level with what we've got."The transfer market this year in the Championship is more competitive than it's ever been."The Swans enjoyed a strong end to what was a turbulent 2024-25 season that saw Luke Williams lose his job in gained 23 points from a possible 36 under then interim boss Sheehan before appointing the Irishman as head coach on a permanent basis prior to the final-day draw with Oxford what is the aim for 2025-26?"I think the main thing is that we need to get better," concluded Gorringe."We've built a really good team on and off the pitch and we have to keep developing and looking to improve in every area."
