England's official cricket account couldn't resist poking fun at Team India's bizarre streak of toss losses. Despite India's strong performances on the field, they've now lost 14 tosses in a row. Adding to the humour, Ben Stokes was seen jokingly practising coin tosses ahead of the Manchester Test, as if trying to keep the streak alive.
After India lost the toss once again at Old Trafford in the fourth Test, England's social media team didn't miss the chance to take a playful jab with a witty tweet.
India have now lost 1️⃣4️⃣ international tosses in a row…
The odds of that happening are 16,384/1 🤯

What might have been a small problem has become a common joke. India men's team has now lost 14 straight tosses across formats. It's not just a stroke of bad luck statistically, the chances of this happening are an astonishingly low 0.00609%.
Captain Shubman Gill, who was appointed as the skipper before this Test series, has played well with the bat but has had no luck with the toss. The last time India's men's team won a toss was in the third T20I in Rajkot this January which, interestingly, was also the only match they lost in that series.
When was the last time India won a toss?
India last won a toss during the third T20I of the five-match series against England in Rajkot this January. With Suryakumar Yadav leading the side, the hosts chose to bowl first after winning the toss. However, that match turned out to be a setback for India in the shortest format, as they failed to chase down 172 and ended their innings at 145/9 on a tricky surface, losing by 26 runs.
Despite their continued bad luck with the toss, India's white-ball performance didn't disappoint. They bounced back strongly to clinch the remaining two T20Is and secure the series 4-1. This was followed by a 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series against England and an impressive campaign in the 2025 Champions Trophy, where India won all five matches to emerge champions.
The ongoing Test series against England is India's first in the red-ball format since that last toss victory.

For the first time, the company's blockbuster summer show is being split over two days, a WrestleMania-style event. Day 1 establishes the mood for what is anticipated to be one of the all-time great SummerSlams and heated grudge matches. CM Punk eyes the World Heavyweight Championship The most anticipated match of the night, CM Punk challenges Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill could steal the show A confrontation of raw power and undeniable charisma, Jade Cargill challenges Tiffany Stratton for her Women's Championship. As one of the breakout stars of the year, Stratton hardly has an easy road, yet Cargill is being simultaneously booked to powerfully close the distance to hallowed ground. Stratton has the odds-on favorite to retain, but if WWE wants a change in the division, then Cargill can leave with the title. Roman Reigns and Jey Uso team up against the future Jey Uso joins Roman Reigns in returning to action in a tag team match against the intense pairing of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
