Huawei has announced a significant upgrade to its Huawei Care+ service. The enhanced plan now offers wider protection across a broad range of Huawei smart devices.
The service covers smartphones, laptops, wearables, and audio products. With the new update, users can enjoy more peace of mind and long-term confidence when using their Huawei devices.
One of the key features is the improved accidental damage protection. Huawei revealed that Huawei Care+ now includes support for multiple repair or replacement instances under long-term plans.
In particular, the service now covers Huawei's foldable smartphones. A specialised screen protection plan ensures continued support for these advanced displays.
Huawei also reported that the updated service aims to extend device lifespan and performance. Customers can now benefit from an extended warranty of up to two additional years on eligible devices.
Another important feature is the battery replacement option. Under certain Huawei Care+ plans, users can get a one-time battery replacement if battery health drops below 85%.
Additionally, Huawei has introduced a loss care service for audio products like the FreeBuds series. This new offering provides a replacement solution if one earbud is lost.
The company highlighted that Huawei Care+ is built with customer convenience in mind. It features easy claim processes and low service fees for incidents covered under the plan.
Huawei stated that the goal is to give users reliable protection without stress or high costs.

Driven by du's vision, the world's first Dual Band Active Antenna unit was conceived and successfully deployed in du's live network — delivering breakthrough performance for our customers and setting a new global benchmark in mobile innovation. This advanced solution consolidates hardware, enhances spectrum efficiency, and improves network performance—all while significantly reducing power consumption and carbon footprint, it said.
