They said: "It has been a while since I have posted anything, but time elapses so quickly when you are fully immersed in everyday life.
"For us who see our angel warrior every day, it is more difficult to notice advances and changes in her, but for those who see her less often, her progress is clear.
"She has been attending school full-time. She is not attending mainstream school, just to clarify."

And although her family said there has been tough days, they have also noticed that progress is becoming more visible - especially to those who don't see her every day.
Her family added: "The staff at this very special institution have gone above and beyond (in our eyes) to make our little girl feel part of the group, even after joining mid-school year.
"We are forever grateful to the love and dedication everyone has shown her.
"She has been attempting different sounds (some nasal ones), and moving her arms with more intent.
"Her happiness is infectious.
We have had some challenging days; we all go through them, even if we wouldn't like a 6-year-old to have to.
"As summer approaches, we are so happy to be able to spend it at home, hoping to spend days outdoors, smell the warm air, enjoy the sun and the sea."

"We had an appointment at Temple Street Children's Hospital, as an outpatient, and I was rather uncomfortable with the thought of going back there after so long.
"But, one must persevere. Getting off the Luas, I decided to walk past the school and where the incident had happened.
"Our little girl doesn't seem to have any trauma from the day, but I was apprehensive. Once we had walked past, I felt relieved, almost as if we had come full circle, breaking whatever bad energy had been left there on the 23rd of November, 2023. We can do hard things."

A four-year-old boy has died after being hit by a bus outside a hospital. The tragedy unfolded moments after the little boy had been visiting his gran. Police were called to the collision outside the Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother (QEQM) hospital in Margate, Kent, shortly after 4pm on Thursday. The boy, named locally as Zaahir Jan, was hit by a white single decker bus which was travelling near the entrance to the A&E department, Kent Police said. Investigators from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. A GoFundMe page was launched to help cover the costs of his funeral. It reads: "My name is Azaria, today on the 7th of August 2025, me and my family went to visit our mum at Margate hospital. And my son who is only four years old fell under a bus and he died immediately. "I am so lost, he was my son, my most beautiful little Jan. I don't know what to do I can't believe you are gone from me. I can't believe they couldn't save you, I can't believe this happened. I didn't even get to tell you how much I love you." The mum added: "Our sweet funny boy with a cheeky smile that could make anyone's heart full. The smile that we can't see again. Can't hold him. Can't cuddle him. Can't hear him. Can't have him sleeping in my bed tonight. But I can try to give him the best and most comfortable burial. [...] Please if anyone can help us to make his burial as beautiful as he was please I will be so grateful. Everyone is devastated, but that word doesn't feel like enough to explain how we are all feeling." A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Witnesses, CCTV and dashcam footage are sought by officers investigating a fatal collision in Margate. Kent Police was called to Ramsgate Road shortly after 4pm on Thursday 7 August 2025 following a report of an incident involving a bus and a pedestrian outside Queen Elizabeth Queen Margaret Hospital. "The bus, a white single decker vehicle, was travelling near the entrance to the A&E department. It is reported that the pedestrian, a four year old boy, left the hospital on foot and a collision took place. The 18-year-olds, who are also from Ireland, were held after witnesses told police they had seen them kicking and punching their compatriots following an earlier row in a tattoo parlour. The 71-year-old victim and his 20-year-old grandson were taken to hospital, with the elder of the two men needing an emergency operation after suffering several facial fractures.
