Infamous gang rapist Mohammed Skaf is back in court over domestic violence order
The man who perpetrated vile gang rapes that shocked the nation has returned to court, four years after his release from prison.
Mohammed Skaf, 41, was the subject of an apprehended violence order application made by his 28-year-old sister, who he lives with, in March.
Skaf didn't show up to Bankstown Local Court on April 30, but court records indicated a magistrate levied a series of conditions against him.
The conditions prevent Skaf from assaulting or threatening Noora El Skaf, or anybody whom she has a relationship with.
The conditions also ordered Skaf not to harm her property or animals, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Records showed the pair live at the same home in Greenacre which they share with their mother, father and younger brother, Hadi.
Noora also has an interim domestic AVO against Hadi and the application will be heard at an hour-long hearing in October.
Noora's latest application against Skaf was her second against him in the past year.
She lodged one against him in August, but withdrew it in October.
The matter will return to court on May 21.
Skaf served 21 years at Long Bay jail before his release in 2021.
He was involved in a series of vile gang rapes against young girls around Sydney's south-west as a 17-year-old.
His older brother, Bilal, led the depraved assaults. He will be eligible for parole in 2033.
During a month-long spree of violence in the lead-up to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, the Skaf brothers and a group of roughly 12 accomplices trapped and attacked at least six women.
The 14 men raped one victim 25 times in three different locations in a six-hour ordeal which ended with her being dumped at a train station after being hosed down.
She was called an 'Aussie pig', told by Mohammed Skaf 'I'm going to f*** you Leb style' and asked if 'Leb c*** tasted better than Aussie c***'.
In another attack, a 16-year-old was pinned down on the ground and raped by 18-year-old Bilal while a dozen of his underlings stood around laughing.
'These men treated her much like wild animals treat prey they have just killed,' New South Wales District Court judge Michael Finnane said during sentencing.
Judge Finnane described the rapes as 'worse than death'.
Skaf expressed hopes of building a new life after his release from prison, including marriage, children, and a career in architecture.
Instead, he has landed himself in further legal troubles, including multiple AVO applications – one of them filed for his own protection.

The sleepy neighbourhood has a population of about 1,100 people. The teenager had been living in a derelict pad - which had a foul smell and was very noisy according to neighbours. She lived there with two housemates: James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33. On the day she went missing, Pheobe was meant to board a flight to see her boyfriend in Western Australia. Her housemates drove her to Bundaberg airport, but police said CCTV there never even saw her enter the terminal and she never actually checked in. She was on her way to Perth to visit her "high-school sweetheart" boyfriend. Pheobe reportedly made a last minute call to him at 8:30am mere moments before she was set to get on the flight to Western Australia. A family member said: "She didn't check in for her flight to visit her boyfriend who she spoke to on the phone at 8.30am." According to the Daily Mail, Wood said the couple had an explosive argument in the car with Pheobe over whether she could do her makeup before arriving at the airport. He said they pulled over just under a kilometre from their destination. They also asked the public for information about the 2011 grey Hyundai ix35 hatch, owned by Bromley, that had been seen around Airport Drive at the time of Pheoebe's disappearance. The next day, police updated the case and said they were treating Pheobe's disappearance as a suspicious. They also declared two crime scenes - one being the run-down home she was living at, and the other being the infamous Hyundai she was driven to the airport in. After inspecting the foul-smelling home, police found four dead dogs rotting inside. But it was later understood that these four pups died of natural causes. Airport Drive, Samuels Road and Gin Gin were also named as locations of interest. On May 22, Detective Acting Inspector Ryan Thompson stressed the importance of public information. This scan went on for the next two days, during which police dogs joined the hunt. On May 25 Bromley was arrested in a major twist after police allegedly found weapons in her silver Hyundai. On May 26, the search area was expanded - before cops made a harrowing revelation. They believed evidence had been moved from the Good Night Scrub area before they arrived there. And on this same day, a new number plate was discovered to have been suspiciously painted and taped over the notorious Hyundai's original plate. The gruelling search effort in Good Night Scrub National Park then continued from May 27 for five more days. Disturbingly, the search appeared to lose hope as police said they would no longer be doing any more physical scans for Pheobe on Wednesday, June 4. They said they would restart any searches only when they had relevant information. And in yet another turn in the tale - Wood and Bromley were then both arrested and charged with murder on the same day Wood was released - exactly three weeks after Pheobe went missing. They were each charged with one count of murder and two counts of interfering with a corpse. Shocking footage released on Friday showed the moment police arrested Wood and escorted him out of an RV for the "homicide of Pheobe Bishop". Both Wood and Bromley appeared at Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Friday morning. Outside the building, Pheobe's heartbroken sister Kaylea Bishop said her sibling was 'loved and missed' dearly. Kaylea and Pheobe had a close relationship and were planning to move in together last year. And in the latest heartbreaking update, human remains were found during a search for Pheobe. A man who shot his wife while she lay in bed and then dumped her at hospital has been jailed for seven years. Kamal Eljamal, 35, fired several shots through the garage roof of his home in Condell Park in Sydney 's south-west in January 2023. One of the bullets went through the mattress of the bed where his 37-year-old wife, Georgina Vlahos, was laying at the time. The bullet fractured her spine and ribs, leaving her with a permanent spinal disability. After shooting his wife, Eljamal drove her to the hospital and told staff that he 'found her like this'. He then returned home to clean the house. Eljamal pleaded guilty to causing grievous actual bodily harm and using a pistol while not authorised to do so on February 5. Ms Vlahos had forgiven her husband, but the injuries remained extremely serious. 'She will never walk again,' District Court Judge Sean Grant said on Friday. 'A message needs to be sent to the community that if you possess and use a firearm (unlawfully), you will be sent to jail for a long time.' When police arrived to search the property the day after the incident, they found several bullet holes around the house. Eljamal's pistol was never found. 'It is disturbing that the firearm has not been recovered and remains in the community,' Judge Grant said. Eljamal had previously been convicted for supplying illicit drugs and had a longstanding substance abuse disorder, the court was told. Since his arrest in February 2023, Eljamal has completed two stints in full-time rehabilitation therapy and spent time in custody. Judge Grant took his efforts to rehabilitate into account, but was unable to conclude he would not be before a court again. He maintained Eljamal should not benefit from the injuries he inflicted by receiving a lesser sentence to care for his wife. As a result of her spinal impairment, Ms Vlahos requires assistance to complete daily tasks including showering and using the toilet. But there were other people who had been, and could continue, providing her assistance, the judge said. Eljamal was ordered to serve at least four years and three months in prison. With backdating for time already served, Eljamal will be eligible for parole in April 2028.
