Yahoo07-03-2025
When children grow up with dogs, they learn many important life lessons, including empathy, responsibility, compassion, and respect. Dogs also teach children the true meaning of loyalty and friendship, encouraging them to keep going even when things are hard.
For this adorable little girl, her darling Golden Retriever sisters have shown her how to keep smiling, even when things don't turn out as planned. Their contagious spirit shines brightly and can inspire us all.
Watch how they manage their bad days with absolute grace in this video from March 5:
This precious trio couldn't be cuter if they tried! Olivia, Lady, and Lily (@ladyandtheblues) don't let life's unfortunate moments get them down. This is true, even if these Golden Retriever's excitable kisses accidentally toppled over their little sister or if a game of chase turns into an epic stop-drop-and-roll. They've also overcome less-than-spectacular entrances into the pool and less-than-graceful dismounts from the stairs. Oh, my! Mom sure did a great job of capturing these moments on camera! So the next time we slam into a closed door, have a tail slapping us in the face or take an unexpected tumble, we know we are not alone. With our trusted four-legged friends by our side, there isn't anything we can't handle, even if we sometimes need a good cry before we face the world again. There are countless reasons Golden Retrievers make terrific family dogs. This beautiful breed is known for being friendly, outgoing, and gentle with children. According to Neater Pets, they are eager to please, which can make them easier to train. They also have plenty of energy to keep up with young children and enjoy constant companionship, helping them bond deeply with their human siblings.
People couldn't help but laugh at this collection of hilarious mishaps. One remarked, 'I feel bad laughing at these vids. But, just to clarify, I'm laughing with them and not at them.' These three make it so easy to smile.
Viewer @maulder_its_me responded, 'I laughed too hard at this…so much so that I had to watch it twice (sorry!). And how adorable is Olivia in little ponytails!?' The cuteness is off the charts!
Another shared, 'If I were going to have a bad day, I would want to share it with the three of them.' When you have friends like this by your side, every day is a good day.
Growing up with siblings like Lady and Lily, Olivia is well-equipped to handle life's future challenges. With these dogs as her teachers and friends, she's learning life's greatest lesson: no matter the setback, the only thing that truly counts is the courage to rise again.

Golden Retrievers' Attempt to ‘Rescue' Dad While He's Relaxing on the Water Has Us Rolling

Golden Retrievers' Attempt to 'Rescue' Dad While He's Relaxing on the Water Has Us Rolling originally appeared on PetHelpful. Golden Retrievers really love retrieving things. That might sound way too obvious, but we still think it's worth mentioning. Why? Because when we see videos, like the one below, we realize that they really don't know what else to do, and it's totally adorable! Both of the in this video see that their human dad is relaxing out on the water, and very sweetly decide that he needs help. So, they go out and attempt to rescue him. But whether or not he wanted to be rescued is a whole other story, LOL. Click this link to watch this hilarious video. As this video shows, this all starts with one of these precious Golden Retrievers looking out over the water and spotting their dad relaxing in a floaty chair. Instantly, this affable golden noticed that 'dad is swimming without us again' and decided that he needed to be 'rescued.' Next thing anyone knows, this precious Golden Retriever is in the water and well on their way to rescuing their dad. They reach him in no time, and of course, he looks delighted to see his fur then the other Golden Retriever decides that 'backup' is needed and gets into the water to join this rescue attempt. This man's floaty chair could stay afloat with one Golden Retriever on board, but two Golden Retrievers were just a bit too much. Pretty soon, both dogs and their dad are in the water, and the raft chair is floating no more, LOL. This Water Is Golden Retriever Territory As this other video shows, this human made the mistake of thinking that he could just float around in the water and relax. Little did he know that he had entered Golden Retriever territory. Click the link here to watch this hilarious video. Just to clarify, Golden Retriever territory is literally every and anywhere a Golden Retriever goes. Yeah, this guy tries to relax, but these fluffy goldens pretty much double as canine pirates who easily overtake his vessel and claim it as their own. Eventually, he has no choice but to 'abandon ship.' The moral of the story here is that if you have Golden Retrievers, but you try to do things your way instead of their way, they will find a way to make sure you get on the same page as them and play their game their way. But hey, if a couple of dogs this cute are the ones 'sinking' your ship, would you really have it any other way? Senior Golden Retriever Has the Cutest Reaction to Mom Calling Her Name After ‘Playing Dead' for Too Long

Senior Golden Retriever Has the Cutest Reaction to Mom Calling Her Name After 'Playing Dead' for Too Long originally appeared on PetHelpful. Anyone who is a pet parent to a senior dog has likely had a frightening experience where their beloved canine companion has been lying still for just a little too long, and they begin to worry and wonder if their precious fur baby is okay. That's exactly what is going on in this video, where this dog mom calls out to her senior Golden Retriever, Molly, after she has been playing dead for too long. For a good long moment, Molly is lying out in the middle of the yard completely motionless. At a glance, one might mistakenly overlook her or think that they are seeing a large mound on the lawn because of how Molly's golden fur seemingly blends in with all the dead, brown grass. But as this footage zooms in on this still-as-can-be Golden Retriever, her stillness starts to become unnerving. She is not moving at all. It's almost like watching a crocodile at the zoo. Sure enough, Molly's human mother begins to get a little antsy watching her and calls out to her: 'Molly, are you alive?' However, Molly doesn't respond to her mother's voice and remains tries calling out to her dog again, but this time there is noticeably more worry in her voice as she calls out, 'Molly?' But once again, Molly doesn't respond or move. Her mom calls her name more forcefully, 'Molly!' And this time, Molly wakes up. Her expression is utterly priceless. Mileage that her human mama with the utmost curiosity, as though she is trying to say, 'What is it? I'm sorry, did you say something, Mother?' Relieved to see that Molly is alive, her mother sighs with relief as she tells her beloved fur baby, 'Don't do that. Okay, you can go back to sleep.' Why Do Dogs Play Dead? Anyone who is familiar with dogs has probably witnessed some version of this behavior before. Also known as 'playing dead,' this entertaining and sometimes puzzling behavior has intrigued humans for eons. But why do dogs like to play dead? Some experts believe that our canine companions like to play dead as a type of defensive mechanism that dogs have used to protect themselves when they believe they are in danger. Not unlike a fight or flight response from a human being, sometimes dogs believe that it is safer for them to pretend to be dead in order to avoid a potentially dangerous confrontation. Dogs are highly intelligent, adaptable creatures, after all, so this makes sense. However, in Molly's case, we don't know if she was necessarily playing dead per se; she could have just been taking a nap and was unable to hear her human mama calling out to her from across the yard. Either way, we are glad that Molly is A-OK! With summertime in full swing, everyone is hitting the pool, including our animal friends and their friends! Just take the precious Golden Retriever and his deer bestie in this video, for instance. At one point, their Golden Retriever sibling gets tired of splashing around for their tennis ball and decides to try and board their they politely turn him away because while two is company, three is a crowd, and a third body would likely sink their raft. But there's no hard feelings about this. After all, it is a beautiful summer day, and all of these lovely animals are hanging out at the pool. As such, their Golden Retriever sibling is content to just continue swimming after his tennis ball in the pool. This Golden Retriever/Deer Duo Are Inseparable Throughout that video, there were all kinds of splashing in the pool and even an attempt by a third party to board their raft, but these two never budged. Just look at how this beautiful little deer won't stop licking their precious Golden Retriever bestie. Not only is this total cuteness overload, but it really gives you an idea of the special bond that these two have! Honestly, this encounter, and what it says about their relationship, is so precious and magical that it deserves its own Disney movie!
