Dabrowski, doubles partner Routliffe into 3rd round at Cincinnati Open
The second-seeded duo defeated Indonesia's Aldila Sutjiadi and Mexico's Giuliana Olmos 3-6, 7-6 (2), 10-7 on Tuesday to advance.
Dabrowski and Routliffe won 67 per cent of their first-serve points and broke on three of their 11 opportunities in the match.
Sutjiadi and Olmos won just 50 per cent of their first-serve points but converted on four of their five break-point chances.
Dabrowski is one of two Canadians remaining at the event, with Montreal's Felix Auger-Aliassime being the other in the men's singles bracket.

The teams fought to maintain a lead until the seventh inning, when the Bells created a two-point gap, 4-2. A short while later, play was stopped for about an hour and a half because of lightning and heavy rain. When the teams returned to the field, the Riverhawks failed to catch up, with the Bells scoring one more point. 'Thank you for an unbelievable season, Edmonton. We couldn't do it without you,' the Riverhawks said to fans on social media. This was the first time in team history the Riverhawks earned a spot in the North Division Championship. They beat the Victoria Harbourcats twice in the best-of-three first round of playoffs. The Bells will face the 2024 champions, the Portland Pickles, who beat the Corvallis Knights 6-5 Tuesday, for the league championship on Thursday. For a third consecutive season, the Riverhawks say they set a WCL single season attendance record this summer, hosting nearly 132,000 fans.

Oklahoma City Thunder's Lu Dort to have NBA title parade in Montreal next week
The Larry O'Brien Trophy will be in Montreal next week. Article content Lu Dort, who won an NBA championship in June with the Oklahoma City Thunder alongside fellow Canadian Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, will have a two-day celebration in his home city. About 200 members of the sports community will be there to recognize his championship win and his dedication to youth in Montreal.
