Wife's desperate plea for rugby star who vanished weeks after birth of new baby
The wife of a rugby player in West Yorkshire who went missing a day ago has issued an urgent plea about his disappearance.
Dad-of-three Brandon Moore, 28, who plays for the Batley Bulldogs in Castleford, went missing Friday night.
His wife, Mara, has asked anyone with information to come forward as he missed his Championship match against Toulouse Olympique today.
'If anyone has seen Brandon Moore, can you please message me? I usually wouldn't ever post anything on here like this, but family and friends haven't seen or heard of him and hoping maybe someone's seen sightings of him and can message me,' she said.
'I have a 7-week-old baby at home and 2 others, so I can't go hunting myself other than a car ride.'
Mara said she is in contact with the police over her husband's sudden disappearance.
Well-wishers have flooded her comment section as she awaits further news.
'Oh Mara, how worrying for you, hope it's something of nothing and he's home soon,' one wrote. More Trending

It is understood that the image was taken before Greg and his friends left their hotel, the Novochoro Apartments, on their way to the pubs of Albufeira. Greg went missing in the early hours of last Wednesday morning after flying out to the resort for a five-day stag do. He later told pals he was heading back to his holiday apartment on his own during their first night out after several hours of partying and drinking. His worried parents and his girlfriend Nicole Ashleigh Kelso have travelled to the party resort for search for Greg amid growing fears he got lost on his first night out and could have suffered an accident. His return flight to Scotland was booked to leave last Friday afternoon. Today, Greg's cousin Alison Fraser, who is in Portugal looking for her relative, said the last official sighting of Greg was at 3.27 am on Wednesday, May 28. Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) has confessed to murdering her father Anthony in Emmerdale, believing the body in the lake belongs to him. Last Friday, Kyle (Huey Quinn) arrived outside the pub to tell Ruby, Caleb Miligan (William Ash), Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) that he had just seen divers pulling a body out of the lake, the same one the limo crash happened on. The group immediately assumed the body was that of Anthony Fox's, and that it wouldn't be long until their secret covering up his death was discovered. Cain, Chas, Caleb and Ruby spent the majority of tonight's episode trying to work out how the aftermath would unfold. They were all in agreement that once forensics complete their tests on Anthony's body, they would find DNA that belongs to one of the six people who kept his murder hidden from everyone. The conclusion was for Caleb and Ruby to go on the run, but something about this made Ruby feel uneasy. She didn't want Caleb throwing his life away in the village for her, but he was adamant that he did not have a life if Ruby wasn't in it. With the decision reached, Cain and Chas said their goodbyes as Ruby and Caleb prepared to go on the run for the rest of their lives. Just as Caleb disappeared though, it became apparent that Ruby absolutely wasn't going to go through with this idea. She disappeared out of the door and then made her way to the police station. Scottish gangsters Ross Monaghan and Eddie Lyons Jr were brutally killed in a Costa del Sol resort town this weekend - and a woman said to have been married to one of them reportedly witnessed the attack The 'wife' of one of the two Scottish gangsters assassinated at a popular Irish bar on the Costa del Sol this weekend is said to have witnessed the shooting. Ross Monaghan, 43, and Eddie Lyons Jr, 46, were gunned down in front of terrified tourists including families on Saturday night. The Mafia-style execution is said to have happened as people were watching the Champion League final. According to local media, one of the men's partners witnessed the attack. The incident happened on the terrace of Monaghans in Fuengirola when a masked man got out of a car and opened fire. The second target was said to have ran into the bar as staff and customers ducked underneath tables and chairs. It has been reported that he was shot at least four times in the chest and abdomen and also died at the bar. The gunman fled on foot before re-joining the accomplice who had driven him to the murder scene. Police have retraced part of their escape route to the old N-340 dual carriageway heading towards Benalmadena. Details about the make and colour of the getaway vehicle have not yet been released. Officers from an elite Spanish National Police Costa del Sol -based Anti-Drug and Organised Crime Unit UDYCO are heading the ongoing probe, although they are reporting to a local investigating judge coordinating the operation. Court officials are expected to confirm later today a secrecy order has been placed on the investigation, preventing public officials from making detailed public comment. Some local reports point to witnesses identifying the shooter as a 'blond man' and investigators working on the theory British nationals are behind the gangland killing, but detectives have not commented. The shooting in Spain comes amid a violent gang war that has ripped through Scotland in recent months following an alleged dispute over drugs. Spain's National Police confirmed two men were killed but declined to name them, saying: 'Around midnight on Saturday an incident with firearms occurred in Fuengirola, specifically at an entertainment venue along the seafront. Two males died as a result from gunshot wounds. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made so far.' Career criminal Monaghan, who fled Scotland for Spain after a failed attempt on his life outside a Glasgow primary school in 2017, was tried but acquitted over the murder of notorious Glasgow hood Kevin 'Gerbil' Carroll at an Asda car park in 2010. In August 2017, he and Eddie Lyons Jr, both members of the Lyons crime family in Glasgow, were cleared of being involved in a brutal street attack on three men outside the Campsie bar in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire.
