The Britain's Got Talent final will see 10 acts perform for the chance to win £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance on Saturday
The excitement is mounting as the Britain's Got Talent final approaches, set to air on Saturday (May 31) evening.
A selection of gifted contestants are poised to take the stage, all vying for the grand prize of £250,000 and the coveted opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

After a series of live semi-finals, only ten acts have made it through to contend for the title in the 18th series of the show.

The finalists include gymnastic sensation Binita Chetry, Post Office choir Hear Our Voice, dynamic dance troupe Ping Pong Pang, and vocalists Vinnie McKee and Stacey Leadbeatter.
They will be joined by the golden buzzer acts chosen by the judges during the semi-finals: LED dance group The Blackouts, opera singer and drag artist Jasmine Rice, magician Harry Moulding, guitarist Olly Pearson, and stand-up comedian Joseph Charm.

As the final looms, the competition is incredibly close, with less than a 2% chance difference between the top two contenders, reports Belfast Live.
Currently leading the pack with odds of 15/8, Hear Our Voice are tipped as the frontrunners, narrowly edging out The Blackouts, who are hot on their heels at 2/1.
Kayley Cornelius from Betfred commented on the tight contest, saying: "Looking at the current odds, it's only a matter of percentages separating the top two favourite acts, suggesting it's going to be a really tight race to see who is crowned this year's winner.

"At 15/8, Hear Our Voice are just clinging on to the favourite spot, but only just. Telling their emotional story through the power of song, their harmonies have struck a strong chord with viewers at home, and the emotional vote could ultimately sway things in their favour."
Hear Our Voice are the favourites to win the series
She added: "However, it's worth noting that up until this week, The Blackouts were the unwavering favourites in the betting markets, and now perched just behind at 2/1, a strong performance on Saturday night could still see them walk away as winners."

As an avid follower of Britain's Got Talent, I've been fortunate to witness a myriad of outstanding acts over the years. Yet, with each passing year, my expectations grow - no one wants to see the same thing every year.
There are undoubtedly some remarkable vocal talents in this year's finale, but after Sydnie Christmas's victory last year, I'm eager for a change of pace when it comes to this year's winner.

Ping Pong Pang amazed the audience with their unique blend of table tennis prowess and hip-hop beats, and Binita Chetry's astonishing semi-final act was all the more impressive given her tender age of nine.
The roster is really competitive this season, with The Blackouts also introducing an element of novelty to their act that we haven't seen before. If it were up to me, any of them would have my vote.
Yet, the poignant story of Hear Our Voice, transforming personal hardship into creative expression, presents a challenging emotional tide to counteract. Soon enough, we'll see who rises to the top.

Amanda Holden ignores critics as she wows in revealing gown for BGT final

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices despite backlash Amanda Holden looked sensational as she stepped out for the live Britain's Got Talent final. The judge, 54, headed out onto the stage with her fellow co-stars Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli. She made sure to pull out all the stops for the grand final of the ITV talent show competition as just one contestant will earn a coveted slot at the Royal Variety Performance. Amanda rocked a revealing white gown Fans rushed to share their love for the outfit as one said, "Amanda looks incredible in that white dress #bgt #BGTFinal." Another tweeted: "Amanda Holden looking stunning for tonight's Britain's Got Talent final." ‌ ‌ A third said: "Amanda Holden gets better looking with age! #BGT." Amanda has sparked backlash thanks to some of her bold looks on the family-friendly show over the years, even landing herself in hot water with Ofcom. Some fans have called for her to "cover up" but Amanda has vowed to not tone down on her looks. In July 2017, Amanda rocked a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress that became the most complained about TV moment of the year. ‌ Amanda joked the furore was a 'national crisis', teasing: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up." Her risqué frocks have become so talked about that she even has a team to check her chest before the live shows. "There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she previously explained. "There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady who's the producer who said, 'Mandy, it looks great'." ‌ Ahead of this year's final, Amanda gave an insight into how the judges will be celebrating when the show wraps. She said: "Normally the party is in my room after the show! "Bruno is the first in for a glass of red before the producers and perhaps my Golden Buzzer act pop in. The door is always open and the bubbles are always flowing. "My husband and girls have been down to the show most weeks too, which has been super special... I'd say Simon is the biggest joker now, especially now that his son Eric comes down to auditions and the live shows. He's much more emotional now and loves to see Eric laughing." She added to Closer magazine: "Simon will quite often look to Eric to see how he is reacting to an act. We joke that all our kids will replace us soon on the panel in the years to come."
