Amanda Holden ignores critics as she wows in revealing gown for BGT final
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has stunned in her final outfit for the ITV talent competition after vowing to never tone down her fashion choices despite backlash
Amanda Holden looked sensational as she stepped out for the live Britain's Got Talent final. The judge, 54, headed out onto the stage with her fellow co-stars Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli.
She made sure to pull out all the stops for the grand final of the ITV talent show competition as just one contestant will earn a coveted slot at the Royal Variety Performance. Amanda rocked a revealing white gown Fans rushed to share their love for the outfit as one said, "Amanda looks incredible in that white dress #bgt #BGTFinal." Another tweeted: "Amanda Holden looking stunning for tonight's Britain's Got Talent final."
A third said: "Amanda Holden gets better looking with age! #BGT."
Amanda has sparked backlash thanks to some of her bold looks on the family-friendly show over the years, even landing herself in hot water with Ofcom. Some fans have called for her to "cover up" but Amanda has vowed to not tone down on her looks.
In July 2017, Amanda rocked a plunging see-through Julien Macdonald dress that became the most complained about TV moment of the year.
Amanda joked the furore was a 'national crisis', teasing: "I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together... It's all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It's been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up."
Her risqué frocks have become so talked about that she even has a team to check her chest before the live shows. "There's a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air," she previously explained.
"There's a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door and there's the lady who's the producer who said, 'Mandy, it looks great'."
Ahead of this year's final, Amanda gave an insight into how the judges will be celebrating when the show wraps. She said: "Normally the party is in my room after the show!
"Bruno is the first in for a glass of red before the producers and perhaps my Golden Buzzer act pop in. The door is always open and the bubbles are always flowing.
"My husband and girls have been down to the show most weeks too, which has been super special... I'd say Simon is the biggest joker now, especially now that his son Eric comes down to auditions and the live shows. He's much more emotional now and loves to see Eric laughing."
She added to Closer magazine: "Simon will quite often look to Eric to see how he is reacting to an act. We joke that all our kids will replace us soon on the panel in the years to come."

Braden video calls Liam and reveals that he is now holding her hostage. Alison is taken to an ominous looking warehouse by Braden, who is armed with a gun. Liam returns to Dawn's house and explains that all he did was for revenge - but ends by telling his former foster parent that Alison has been captured. He meets with Helen, who takes him to the warehouse and Braden appears again. He holds Alison at gunpoint and Liam hands over the necklace - despite her warnings that Braden won't let them go. Braden lets Alison go but orders Liam to get on his knees and he uses sign language to pass on a secret message to her - that the police are about to arrive. DI James and armed police swoop in and arrest Braden and Helen. DI James visits her and tells her that Joseph Holhurst has been charged for money laundering. He also reveals that her payment for her work as an informant has gone through - and it is shown to be £50,000. In the final moments he passes her a leaflet for a forensic lip-reading course and encourages her to take it. JoJo Siwa breaks silence on Chris Hughes romance, split with Kath Ebbs and her sexuality saying she's ‘head over heels'
JOJO Siwa has broken her silence on being "head over heels" for Chris Hughes - as she admitted their previously platonic connection has now "developed." The Dance Moms star, 22, was candid in addressing her feelings for the Love Island alum after they were spotted cosying up on a night out with pals. 6 6 6 It came shortly after the duo shared an intimate video together before snuggling up in bed - in a snap which has since been deleted. The actress and singer - who formed a blossoming connection with ITV Racing pundit Chris, 32, in Celebrity Big Brother this year - has now opened up on the "genuine" nature of their bond. She said: "People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop "I think everyone's just curious, and I can't blame them." Clarifying the pair's exact relationship status she told The Guardian: "It's not platonic any more, and it's been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way." She added: "I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. "Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never been in pain from smiling so much." SHOCK SPLIT The Boomerang songstress was dating partner Kath Ebbs when she stepped foot in the ITV spy house. Yet Kath, 27, revealed they had been dumped by the US TV alum during the wrap party for the reality series. Watch as JoJo Siwa makes Chris Hughes blush with cute tribute as he proudly watches her perform in London Taking to Instagram at the time, Australian content creator Kath, said they were in "complete shock" and felt "numbed out and humiliated" after being dumped by JoJo. Yet she has now told how she is "preserving her piece" - and not hitting back at her former partner's social media post. After revealing she was no longer a lesbian in the CBB compound during the show's live stream she said she now wants to identify as queer. During a private chat in the bedroom, she confessed: "I feel so queer,", as co-star Danny then responded: "I'm queer!" JoJo Siwa and Kath Ebbs' relationship We look back at JoJo Siwa's romance with Kath Ebbs: JoJo Siwa went public with hers and Kath Ebbs' relationship in January 2025. The Dance Moms star had been introduced to 27-year-old Australian content creator Kath by a mutual friend called G-Flip six months earlier. JoJo had split with her girlfriend Dakayla Wilson in November 2024 and it is believed she hooked up romantically with Kath soon after. Speaking in March at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, JoJo said of her relationship: 'I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it's beautiful. It's taught me so much about life. 'It's taught me so much about love and respect, and it's a beautiful thing. 'It's different in more ways than I can count. I wouldn't even know what to say the biggest is 'cause just everything is so different and special.' Kath even claimed they had talked about marriage together. However, JoJo's romance with Kath abruptly hit the skids on April 25, 2025, at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party. JoJo dumped Kath at the bash after spending 19 days in the CBB house - where she had grown close to Love Island star Chris Hughes. In her new interview, she told how the phrase "encompasses how I am, and who I am." She added: "I do live this very, very big public life that has so many eyeballs on it, and it can get really hard to navigate. "But I'm also living a human life. You can't help who you love." The term queer is defined by LGBTQ charity Stonewall as "a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity". JoJo's sexuality was already a subject of conversation on CBB when American actor Mickey Rourke made a homophobic slur when talking to her earlier on in the series. 6 6 6

Coronation Street star Barbara Ferris dies aged 85
Barbara Ferris, a former Coronation Street star, has died at the age of 85. The star's death was confirmed by her family. Barbara is the sister of Call the Midwife star Pamela Ferris, and died on May 23 of this year. Barbara portrayed the role of Nona Willis in the ITV soap in 1961. She left after appearing in 9 episodes. The actress married film producer John Quested in 1960. Together they have three children called Nicholas, Christopher and Catherine. Her final film credit was that of 1990's The Krays. Barbara, also a former model, retired to prioritise family life, and travel. It was revealed last month that, for the first time ever, Coronation Street and Emmerdale will air a crossover episode. ITV's flagship soaps have announced the one-off special edition to mark a new broadcast pattern that will launch in 2026. It was announced earlier this year that both serial dramas will air in what has been dubbed as a 'power hour' from 8pm, Monday to Friday. Ultimately it means that both shows will lose a half an hour episode per week.
