BLACKPINK To Release New Song At Deadline World Tour After 3-Year Hiatus
Last Updated: BLACKPINK will embark on their new world tour on July 5, with a show at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. BLACKPINK is returning to the music scene, not just with a new world tour but also with a new song. As reported earlier, the four-member girl K-pop group, comprising Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rose, is all set to release a brand-new single, nearly three years after they dropped their second album, Born Pink, in 2022. Merely days after the news went viral, BLACKPINK's agency YG Entertainment shared an exciting update on their upcoming single. On Monday, June 23, the agency revealed that the group will be premiering their new song at the first two shows of their upcoming world tour in South Korea. As quoted by AllKpop, YG Entertainment stated, 'The new song will be performed for the first time at the concerts held on July 5 and 6 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium." The announcement left BLINKs elated as they had waited for their favourite girls' comeback for a long time. YG's Executive Producer, Yang Hyun Suk, further explained their decision to unveil BLACKPINK's new song in such a unique manner, saying, 'There was a lot of discussion about how to release the new song, and we ultimately decided to unveil it first at the Goyang concert, which marks the beginning of the world tour and a symbolic moment to reconnect with the fandom." Earlier, when JTBC Entertainment revealed that BLACKPINK would be making a full group comeback in July, their agency released a statement, sharing that they would announce the details of the project 'through an official promotion at a later date." They had also confirmed that the quartet had begun filming their upcoming music video on June 6, which took place in South Korea under the supervision of a renowned director, whose name was not revealed. Back in February this year, YG Entertainment surprised BLINKs by announcing the world tour of BLACKPINK, titled Deadline World Tour. This would mark their comeback as a group after their last record-breaking Born Pink World Tour (2022-2023), which sold over 1.8 million tickets across 66 shows. Following this, the four girls focused on their solo music as well as acting projects. The tour, which is their first all-stadium one, will begin on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, followed by a number of shows in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. BLACKPINK will be concluding their highly anticipated tour in January 2026 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, China. First Published:

He is quite active on X (formerly Twitter), and frequently shares updates on the microblogging platform. On Monday, Big B hit the headlines for his sharp-witted responses to trolls who mocked him over his viral cybercrime awareness callertune. Not just this, he also gave savage replies to other jibes by trolls. Big B refused to be silenced by online negativity, and he surprised many with these witty and savage comebacks. His replies quickly went viral! On Monday, Big B posted a seemingly random tweet on X (formerly Twitter) stating, 'Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek prashansak hoon. Toh?? (Yes, sir, I'm a fan too. So??)." An X user, in response, trolled him by writing, 'Toh phone pe bolna band kro bhay (So stop saying it on the phone)," criticising the actor for his cybercrime caller tune. Unperturbed, Big B replied with a calm retort, 'Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unhone jo kaha humne kar diya (Tell the government, I did what they told me to do)." For those unfamiliar, Amitabh Bachchan has voiced a new initiative to raise awareness about cybercrime and educate the public on digital safety. This caller tune, which plays before calls connect, features Bachchan advising listeners about common cyber threats like phishing, online scams, and identity theft. When another user commented, 'Buddha sathiya gaya hai (The old man has gone senile)," Big B responded, 'Ek din, Bhagwan naa kare voh din jaldi aaye, jab aap bhi sathiya jaaye (One day — God forbid it comes soon — you too will grow senile. When another user criticised him for showing attitude, stating, 'Use some logic, even a calculator doesn't show this much attitude! Or else, my heart had accepted you, but the brain is saying – 'System Error: Too Much Overthinking Detected!'" Big B cleverly replied, 'Even your calculator is saying the same thing about you – overthinking!!!"
