Megastar Amitabh Bachchan loves to interact with his fans on social media. He is quite active on X (formerly Twitter), and frequently shares updates on the microblogging platform. On Monday, Big B hit the headlines for his sharp-witted responses to trolls who mocked him over his viral cybercrime awareness callertune. Not just this, he also gave savage replies to other jibes by trolls. Big B refused to be silenced by online negativity, and he surprised many with these witty and savage comebacks. His replies quickly went viral!
On Monday, Big B posted a seemingly random tweet on X (formerly Twitter) stating, 'Ji haan huzoor, main bhi ek prashansak hoon. Toh?? (Yes, sir, I'm a fan too. So??)." An X user, in response, trolled him by writing, 'Toh phone pe bolna band kro bhay (So stop saying it on the phone)," criticising the actor for his cybercrime caller tune. Unperturbed, Big B replied with a calm retort, 'Sarkar ko bolo bhai, unhone jo kaha humne kar diya (Tell the government, I did what they told me to do)." For those unfamiliar, Amitabh Bachchan has voiced a new initiative to raise awareness about cybercrime and educate the public on digital safety. This caller tune, which plays before calls connect, features Bachchan advising listeners about common cyber threats like phishing, online scams, and identity theft.
When another user commented, 'Buddha sathiya gaya hai (The old man has gone senile)," Big B responded, 'Ek din, Bhagwan naa kare voh din jaldi aaye, jab aap bhi sathiya jaaye (One day — God forbid it comes soon — you too will grow senile. But we have a saying here: 'Jo satha, wo patha (The older, the wiser)."
In another instance, an X user accused him of smoking weed, to which Amitabh retorted, 'Only someone high on weed could write the way you just did." When another user criticised him for showing attitude, stating, 'Use some logic, even a calculator doesn't show this much attitude! Or else, my heart had accepted you, but the brain is saying – 'System Error: Too Much Overthinking Detected!'" Big B cleverly replied, 'Even your calculator is saying the same thing about you – overthinking!!!"
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the Tamil action drama film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, alongside Rajinikanth.
