Daily Mail4 days ago
spoke about how well Ozzy was doing in a poignant last interview just two weeks before he died.
The Black Sabbath rocker died aged 76 on July 22 and was laid to rest in a private funeral at his Buckinghamshire home on Thursday.
Just two days before she got engaged to Sid Wilson at Ozzy's final performance with his band in Villa Park, Birmingham, Kelly said her father was feeling 'amazing'.
Kelly, 40, said: 'My dad is amazing! He's so excited for his final show on Saturday. There is all the nerves and all the excitement.
'He's sailing through everything, and the rehearsals have been incredible.'
She added: 'It's all about him. It's going to be a very emotional moment.'
Kelly also shared heartbreaking details of her nuptials, with plans to wed across seas to ensure it would be an intimate affair with her beloved father and tight-knit family.
She said: 'We were thinking about having a destination wedding because that way only the people who really like you will come. So that is where we are going right now.'
Kelly revealed that her famed mother Sharon will be planning her entire wedding as she confessed she 'wants nothing to do with it'.
She said: 'I want nothing to do with it, because if it was up to me, we'd get married at the registry office and then take over a pub.
'But it is not up to me, so I'm letting my mum plan it.'
Kelly wore Ozzy's trademark purple glasses in a heartbreaking nod to her beloved father at his funeral procession on Wednesday.
The heavy metal icon was commemorated in a parade through the city centre - with friends and family including his wife Sharon attending and getting out of the cortege at Black Sabbath Bridge.
Ozzy had made known Kelly is his 'favourite child' in the past, previously telling Rolling Stone they were 'like two peas in a pod' as he gushed over their bond.
Mother-of-one Kelly covered her tears with the glasses which were a familiar look for Ozzy.
She and siblings Jack and Aimee laid floral tributes at the site while supporting Sharon - and they also shared peace signs showing gratitude to the crowds, while accompanied by Ozzy's son Louis from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.
And Jack and Kelly were seen sharing an emotional embrace at the Black Sabbath Bridge site that has been wreathed in floral tributes over the past week.
Father-of-five Ozzy previously proudly shared how singer, actress and fashion designer Kelly was his most cherished child, telling an interviewer: 'If I've got a favourite kid, it's Kelly.'
When asked by Rolling Stone, 'Are Jack and Aimee aware of that?', he replied: 'Oh, they know it! Me and Kelly, we're like two peas in a pod!'
The father-daughter duo rereleased a revised version of the song in 2003 which reached number one on the UK singles chart - in it they reflected on their life together.

Father pays tribute to ‘hard-working family man' who died at Oasis concert

The father of a 'lifelong' Oasis fan who fell to his death at the band's concert at Wembley Stadium has said his whole family is devastated. Lee Claydon, 45, a landscape gardener from Bournemouth, Dorset, died on Saturday after reportedly falling from an upper tier at the stadium. His father, Clive Claydon, 75, paid tribute to 'a hard-working family man' who 'loved his kid'. 'He was a lovely bloke, loved to be with his family … He had everything going for him. I am so devastated,' he said. He said that Lee had gone to the concert with his brother and his brother's children, and may have drunk alcohol but had not taken any drugs. Claydon said: 'He doesn't take drugs, he may have had a couple of beers but who hadn't there? People have said horrible things but it was just an accident.' He added that he was concerned about the safety measures at Wembley. 'All I know is there was beer everywhere, it's slippery, he slipped apparently, we do not know the rest of it.' A fundraising page, which has been set up to help raise money for Lee's partner, Amanda, and son, Harry, has reached more than £7,000. Lee's brother Aaron Claydon wrote on the page: 'Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss. Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son.' He described his brother as 'the man I have always looked up to'. He added: 'Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon, and we will miss him so very much.' A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: 'Wembley Stadium operates to a very high health and safety standard, fully meeting legal requirements for the safety of spectators and staff, and is certified to and compliant with the ISO 45001 standard. 'We work very closely and collaboratively with all relevant event delivery stakeholders – including event owners, local authorities, the Sports Grounds Safety Authority and the police – to deliver events to high standards of safety, security and service for everyone attending or working in the venue.' The Health and Safety Executive has been informed. The Metropolitan police are asking for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has mobile phone footage, to come forward. Oasis said in a statement on Sunday: 'We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.'

Toni and Cach reveal surprising plans for £50k Love Island prize which sets them apart from other Islanders

Your average twenty-something would splurge £50k on holidays, cars and clothes - but not Love Island's newest champions, Toni Laites and Cach Mercer. The lovebirds, both 24, instead have far more humdrum things in mind for their loot. 6 6 6 Toni, who is a Las Vegas cabana waitress, said: 'I need to pay off my student loans. I want to invest it. I don't want to go on some crazy shopping spree.' Cach, a dancer from London, agreed: 'Cost of living crisis, I'll save it!' It comes despite making history, with American Toni being the ITV2 show's first ever international bombshell to win. She entered on the first night of this summer's series and coupled up with Cach a month later, during Casa Amor. Toni said: 'I feel like I'm representing a whole nation! I didn't expect to make it past week one. 'Hopefully now we will just find time to enjoy one another's company and not let everything else take over.' Cach added: 'It feels amazing to win. I was 100 per cent authentically myself and luckily the public liked it, so I'm buzzing. 'I appreciate every moment on the show, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I wouldn't have done it any other way.' Toni will be remembered as one of the series 'Big Three' - a name coined by fans for her trio of friends, with Shakira Khan and Yasmin Pettet who came second and third respectively. Toni added: 'Friends I will have for life. That was a big takeaway. The girls were my rock for the eight weeks.' Cach and Toni WIN Love Island and bag £50k as raunchiest ever series ends She'll be spending more time with Cach than the girlies, though, as I can reveal ITV are set to offer the couple a spin-off show which follows their transatlantic relationship as they navigate love outside the villa. 6 A source said: 'Even without the win, Cach and Toni's story should make great TV just due to their exciting lives. It will also be a chance to include Shakira and Yasmin when they visit Toni and catch up on the outside.' Shakira, 22, had a rocky journey in the villa but came runner-up with bad boy Harry Cookesley, 30. She said: 'The best romance of the series for me is Toni and Yas. Absolute weapons. I love those girls to bits. 'They will be bridesmaids at my wedding and godmothers of my children. I couldn't have done a day without them.' No mention of Harry, there, though… probably for the best. Rob just boobed with Liz 6 Rob Rinder 's first meeting with Liz Hurley ahead of their new Channel 4 reality show The Inheritance saw her accuse him of speaking to her boobs. The series, out later this year, sees Liz play the dearly departed glam benefactor of a fortune stashed in a stately home, where 13 contestants compete for it while Rob acts as executor. He told the That Gaby Roslin podcast: 'When Elizabeth and I met, she was magnificent, she is the person a young gay man would want to marry before realising he would have to do geography he wasn't interested in. 'She was wearing this gold magnificence which she is wearing in the [show] promo in the coffin. "I started talking and she said, 'Are you talking to my breasts?' I said, 'Yes, actually I am'. 'Well, it would be absurd not to, since they are there. I mean, 'Are you looking at the Alps?!'' Prime Video thriller The Terminal List: Dark Wolf drops on August 27. The prequel comes three years after the hit first series and focuses on the backstory of Ben Edwards, played by Taylor Kitsch, who served alongside Chris Pratt's Navy SEAL character James Reece. Richie's radio Escape 6 Strictly and Radio 2 star Richie Anderson has landed a new gig away from the airwaves – joining the presenting roster of Escape To The Country. Richie joins the long-running show for its 26th series and in his first episode will be seen helping a couple of fellow Brummies to find the perfect character property in the rural Midlands. Richie said: 'It's a real honour to be joining such an iconic TV programme and a brilliant family of presenters. 'Escape to the Country is one of the reasons I moved out of London for a quieter more rural way of life.' Jules Hudson when the show returns to BBC One later this month.
