T-Mobile users with old Samsung phones get the notification they were waiting for but be careful
Samsung clearly tested the patience of its customers with the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. As if it wasn't enough that it was already six months behind schedule, the company delayed the update another week after kicking off the rollout in early April. Fortunately for customers, it has been smooth sailing since. The update has started reaching T-Mobile customers with older Samsung phones.Carrier-locked phones or phones purchased through a telecom company usually receive software updates later than unlocked phones or those that aren't tied to a specific carrier. That's because after a smartphone company concludes its testing, carriers start their optimization and customization process. One exception to this was a few days ago when the May update reached carrier-locked Galaxy S25 models before their unlocked counterparts. We can't confirm whether this was also true for T-Mobile models. T-Mobile has been pretty swift as far as One UI 7 is concerned. The company started deploying the update to owners of last-gen flagships around ten days after Samsung resumed the rollout.

And now, merely three days after the update went live for older unlocked models, it has started hitting T-Mobile devices. The update is arriving on the Galaxy S21 and S22. And we wouldn't be surprised if we heard that it was live for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Flip 3 as well.
Samsung's One UI 7 is a major update with many visual enhancements and AI features. This probably explains why it took Samsung longer than expected to commence the rollout.
There have been widespread reports of the update tanking the battery life on some models, so you may want to hold off on installing it if you suspect this might be a buggy update. That said, this often happens when a new operating system version is downloaded and the battery life goes back to normal within a week or two.

OnePlus 13s in for review
Today we have with us the OnePlus 13s. While we can't share all the details yet, we can show off the exterior and talk about some of the features of this upcoming device. The first thing we should say is that this is not the retail packaging. The fancy black box is just for showing on camera but if you place an order for the phone you'll just be getting the red box you see inside. The OnePlus 13s will come in three colors, black, green, and pink that we have here. The green model is exclusive to India while the pink makes the 13s the first OnePlus phone to ship in this color. On the side of the phone is the new Plus Key, which replaces the Alert slider on previous OnePlus flagships. This key can be assigned to various functions, including AI Plus Mind which captures and collates information on the screen within a new app called Mind Space that is part of the new OnePlus AI feature set. The 13s runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with a sizable internal cooling system. The phone features a 32MP front-facing camera with autofocus, a first for a OnePlus phone. There's also 5.5G networking and an independent Wi-Fi chipset. All of this is packed into a compact body with a 6.32-inch display. Realme GT 7 and 7T go global, first Nothing Phone (3) teaser, Week 22 in review
The Galaxy A57, which is expected in Q1 of 2026, will likely use a new Exynos 1680 chipset. The Exynos 1680 allegedly has the model designation S5E8865 and the codename Terra. No other details are known about it yet, but it is probably safe to assume that it will use an Xclipse GPU just like its predecessor. We saw the first glimpse of the Nothing Phone (3). More specifically, a macro shot of a part of the phone. Not much we can get from it, but perfectly in line with Nothing's style. Motorola's Moto G family is soon going to get another member, the Moto G96. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and we saw images of it. The phone will boast 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It will have a 6.67-inch pOLED curved screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a 5,500 mAh battery. On the rear, there's a 50 MP main camera using Sony's Lytia LYT-700C sensor, and an 8 MP macro camera. For selfies, you'll get a 32 MP snapper on the front. The device will be offered in Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue colorways. It's expected to cost around INR 22,990 when it lands in India, which right now translates into approximately $270. It's unclear what other markets it might launch in. It hasn't yet been seen on the market. The new premium model will be unveiled in July. It will expand the G family even further. The vanilla costs INR 8,999, which is about $105/€90. The Realme GT 7 and GT 7T made their global debut. The GT 7 uses the Dimensity 9400e chipset and features a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 50 MP main and 2x telephoto cameras and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. It's powered by a 7,000mAh battery with 120W charging. The GT 7T uses the Dimensity 8400-Max, and lacks a zoom camera, but has the same 7,000mAh battery. The Pixel 10 Pro (or Pixel 10 Pro XL) was spotted on a public beach in Vancouver, Canada, where it was filmed for a TV ad. The video crew wasn't working hard on keeping the phone a mystery, and the person who stumbled upon the set even got a glance at the storyboard (a visual script of all scenes that make up the video clip). Google will launch the Pixel 10 with a new camera feature that will allow users to add multiple people to the same shot. The Pixel 10 series could come in August. The latest flagship killers bring Dimensity chipsets and massive 7,000mAh batteries with 120W charging. It could be the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro XL. Comes in four different variants. The Red Magic 10S Pro has a massive 7,500mAh battery with 120W charging, a 6.85-inch 144Hz OLED, and is now on sale.
