They grilled him not only on business numbers but also on his entrepreneurial priorities.

pointed out that Gaurav had not revealed critical data, such as his earnings from his enormous YouTube presence or the existence of another culinary company, Rosier. His focus on delegation rather than direct involvement did not go down well with the panel either.
Gaurav has now spoken out on Zero1's podcast, offering his perspective on the Shark Tank India's pitch.
He said, "A lot happened at Shark Tank, and I was confused—why were they so against me?" he said, recalling how his business style, which leans heavily on team-based execution, was perceived as a red flag. 'If a customer complains, I assign the issue to my team. Of course, I delegate—I can't personally track every order.
"
He further revealed he was baffled when the sharks asked him whether he would shut down his channel, "They told me, 'You aren't shutting down Flying Beast?' I thought that was ridiculous.
