India Today12 hours ago
Businessman Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty, has hit back at online trolls questioning his recent offer to donate a kidney to Vrindavan-based spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj. He shared a lengthy post on social media on Friday, slamming PR stunt claims.Addressing the backlash in a social media post, he wrote, 'Strange world we live in when someone chooses to offer a part of themselves to save another's life, it's mocked as a PR stunt. If compassion is a stunt, may the world see more of it. If humanity is a strategy, may more people adopt it. I'm not defined by labels the media or trolls throw at me (sic)."advertisementIn a follow-up statement, Kundra added, 'My past does not cancel my present choices, and my present intentions are not for you to measure with your cynicism. Judge less, love more - you might just save a life too (sic).'

Janhvi Kapoor's Rs 65 Crore Bandra Duplex Is An Oasis Of Luxury And Legacy

Located in Mumbai's posh Pali Hill, Janhvi Kapoor's duplex is also shared by her sister Khushi Kapoor and her father Boney Kapoor. If homes could weave tales, Janhvi Kapoor's lavish Bandra duplex would narrate a chronicle of spirited soirées, sunlit brunches, and evenings filled with sisterly laughter. Nestled in the upscale lanes of Pali Hill, this Rs 65 crore residence is more than just prime real estate. It is a blend of architectural elegance and personal warmth, spread across 8,669 square feet. With soaring glass walls framing the Mumbai skyline, a private green oasis, and art that stops you mid-step, the home perfectly reflects Janhvi's dual identity: a rising Bollywood star rooted in family legacy. The address sits in the Kubelisque Building in Pali Hill. Purchased in 2022, shortly after Janhvi Kapoor sold her Juhu triplex to Rajkummar Rao, the duplex occupies the first and second floors, offering both privacy and sweeping views of Bandra's leafy pockets. Here, exclusivity isn't about grandeur alone – it's about balance between community, comfort, and quiet luxury. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ᴋʜᴜsʜɪ ᴋᴀᴘᴏᴏʀ (@khushikapoor) The interiors strike a chord between modern sleekness and sentimental charm. The living room is airy and dramatic with white walls, gilded accents, and a spiral staircase that looks straight out of a fashion editorial. Filmmaker Farah Khan, after touring the home for her YouTube series, described it as 'one of the warmest celebrity homes" she had ever visited. Art and artefacts carry the soul of the house, many of them cherished tributes to Sridevi, making the space more than just glamorous décor. Corners That Tell Stories Bedrooms: Khushi Kapoor's room is a chic study in monochrome minimalism, softened with curated bags and accessories. Janhvi's bedroom leans into a gentler palette with eggshell walls, potted greenery, and an entire wall adorned with family portraits and pictures of her late mother. Dining Room: Designed for conversation and grandeur, the dining space features a long wooden table, plush upholstered chairs in tonal contrast, and ornate chandeliers. It's easy to imagine dinners stretching into storytelling marathons. Corridors & Gardens: The hallways could double as a gallery, lined with photographs and artwork. Outdoors, the private garden and pool offer both privacy and Instagram-perfect corners – whether for a quiet dip or a barbecue night. Leisure Meets Luxury Beyond the glamour of interiors, the home balances lifestyle needs. A shaded pool corner doubles as an entertainment hub, while the gym, flooded with natural light, removes excuses for skipping workouts. More Than Just a Showpiece What sets this duplex apart is its intimacy. Despite its scale and luxe finishes, the home carries a lived-in feel with warm lighting, cosy corners, and personal memorabilia. It's not merely a statement address; it's a family space imbued with memory, comfort, and a quiet sense of belonging. First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
