Following the high-octane opening match between
Randy Orton
and Drew McIntyre at the recently held Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME), on July 12, 2025, at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, tensions between the heavyweight champions have escalated as they will again lock horns at the upcoming SummerSlam Premium Live Event (PLE).
Interestingly, the rivalry did not remain confined to the rings of
WWE
, but it has now reached the platform of a renowned talk show. This happened during an interview with WWE Superstar Randy Orton on Wednesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was guest-hosted by country music star Jelly Roll, erupted into chaos.
The segment saw interruptions from both Drew McIntyre and
Logan Paul
, which culminated in the guest host chokeslamming Paul through the show's interview table.
Let's take a look at the chaotic situation more, and what transpired McIntyre to attack The Viper and Jelly Roll during the show.
Randy Orton and Jelly Roll get brutally attacked on Jimmy Kimmel Live
The segment on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show began when
Randy Orton
joined Jelly Roll to chat about WWE and the buzz building up to SummerSlam. The Viper reassured the host that he was all set for his upcoming match. He stated, 'We got each other's back, man. That's what we're in this together. At SummerSlam, we're gonna get ours.'

But, the discussion took an interesting turn when Jelly mentioned Orton's ongoing feud with Drew McIntyre, who has been relentlessly going after Orton's friends lately. Orton confidently vowed to get back at him, telling fans that
SummerSlam
would be the moment McIntyre's mind games finally come to an end.
Before Orton could continue, Drew McIntyre stormed inside uninvited, immediately taunting Jelly Roll in front of a live studio audience. After the conversation was quickly cut short by the arrival of
Drew McIntyre
.
'I come in peace,' McIntyre claimed, before turning his attention to Jelly Roll.
McIntyre mocked Jelly's recent weight loss and sneered, 'You truly are an inspiration to trailer trash all across the world, brother,' McIntyre said. 'And I just want to know… after you lost all that weight, how did it feel to finally see your little Tootsie Roll for the first time in 20 years?'
This heated exchange further escalated as he insulted Orton to step in, saying, 'Nobody flew here to see you act like a prick.
Wrong time, wrong place,' Orton warned. The two WWE Superstars then came to blows, brawling out of the studio and into the backstage area as Jelly Roll attempted to regain control of his show.
Logan Paul adds fuel to the fire
This feud did not end here, the show was interrupted a second time by
Logan Paul
. Attacking Roll again, Paul immediately began berating the host. 'You a late-night talk show host? You a wrestler? You a country star?' Paul taunted. 'I told you this, Mr.
Dummy roll, stay in your lane, stupid… I'll tell you what you are. You my friend, are a greasy redneck prison rat.'
Paul then slapped Jelly Roll across the face and declared, 'There's your receipt, stupid. Hey, congrats. It's Logan Paul's show now, a real superstar.' The country music star did not hold himself and launched a hard-hitting slap at Paul back with force before grabbing him by the throat and delivering a massive chokeslam through the glass interview table, shattering it and leaving Paul lying as the show went off the air.

Serendipity Arts residents' tryst with chance, artistry and transformation

The Open Studio is not just a showcase of artistic output, but a celebration of dynamicity, vulnerability, and artistic companionship The Serendipity Arts Foundation is alive with the energy of emerging artists and lovers of artistic experiments, as it kicked off its Open Studio, a weeklong showcase for the Serendipity Arts Residency 2025, running through August 8. Billed as a 'constellation of images, ideas, textures and emotions,' the Open Studio offers more than a glimpse into the minds of six residents, Anishaa Tavag, Anshumaan Sathe, Malavika Bhatia, Ningkhan Keishing, Valia Russo, and Programmer-in-Residence Harshada Vijay, who have immersed themselves in a three-month journey of experimentation and collaboration in the eighth edition of the Residency, which is an annual flagship for cultivating new artistic voices. Open Studio offers more than a glimpse into the minds of six talented residents - Ningkhan Keishing, Malavika Bhatia, Anshumaan Sathe, Anishaa Tavag, Valia Russo and Programmer-in-Residence Harshada Vijay Behind this curation was the theme: chance. 'Chance became the quiet anchor of the residency,' shares Harshada Vijay, Programmer-in-Residence, reflecting the spirit of risk and openness that united this cohort. Over shared meals and studio walls, artists meandered between disciplines, letting materials and serendipity guide the way. 'The Residency programme has always been a space for discovery for the artists and for us,' says Smriti Rajgarhia, Director, Serendipity Arts. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like World's 25 Best Cities to Live In Learn More Undo 'This year's residents remind us that artistic practice is as much about vulnerability and generosity as it is about creativity. What emerges from their work is not just individual expression, but evidence of a thriving creative ecosystem. The Foundation hopes to nurture: artistic practices that are brave, generous, and deeply rooted in context. " Here's what took form in the past three months: Come Play With Me by Anshumaan Sathe Anshu's project is equal parts intimate and unapologetic, a series of tender portraits created in dialogue with fellow trans folks. Emerging from letters, oral conversations, and sketching workshops, these portraits aren't merely visual studies, they're love letters that reclaim joy, desire, and the act of being seen, infusing the space with humour and honesty. Archive of Impossible Exologies by Malavika Bhatia Archive of Impossible Exologies by Malavika Bhatia (as MycoDyke) Teaming up with the resilient fungus Schizophyllum commune, M has created living installations, decomposing, responsive to touch, breath, and time. Their project weaves together a Punjabi riddle about mushrooms, colonial archives, living fungal cultures, and the displacement of ancestral memory. The centrepiece was a 'mycelial book', made of agar agar and mycelium, which grows and rots. About the installations and the work, they say, "All of this started with foraging. It (Fungi) really has a mind of its own. I haven't done this alone," quipped M, while interacting with curious visitors. Come Play With Me by Anshumaan Sathe Hi Bi Kadlekai by Anishaa Tavag Through dance, Tavag explores the play and performance of masculinity—a shapeshifting exploration inspired by Bollywood heroes and personal longing. Vulnerable yet playful, her movement-based installation asks: What does masculinity look like, and who gets to inhabit it? Her performance blurs the line between fantasy and embodiment, prompting viewers to reflect on their cultural scripts. "I look at what makes the male star, what actions create that aura around the male star. This was not about disavowing femininity, but embracing what is masculine. I feel masculinity is not limited to men," she remarked, while interacting with the audience post her performance. Hi Bi Kadlekai by Anishaa Tavag Phunga Wari (Lusivi) by Ningkhan Keishing Rooted in his Tangkhul Naga heritage, Keishing's large ceramic installation reimagines the traditional three-legged wood stove of his childhood, each leg symbolising a parent and the spirit. With stories passed down from his mother, the piece becomes a vessel for memory and intergenerational wisdom, dynamically blending indigenous practice with contemporary abstraction. Pédiluve by Valia Russo French artist Valia Russo draws us into the anxiety of digital excess with an installation that fuses photography, urban waste, and botanical matter. Named after the French ritual of cleansing before entering sanctity, his work is a poetic filter for our image-saturated lives, generating hybrids that float between ruin and renewal, and challenging us to question how we process today's visual overload. 'Mahavtar Narsimha' dominates over 'Saiyaara', 'Son Of Sardaar 2', 'Dhadak 2' at the box office, collects Rs 15 crore on its second Saturday

It's a busy weekend at the theatres with four movies competing against each other at the moment. While 'Saiyaara' has been ruling at the box office ever since the movie released, this Friday, which is August 1 saw the release of two anticipated sequels - 'Son Of Sardaar 2' and 'Dhadak 2' which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. But amidst these three movies, now 'Mahavtar Narsimha' came out of nowhere last week and has now seen incredible growth due to positive word of mouth. On its second Saturday, which is August 2, the movie collected much more than what it made even on first Saturday. So much so, that it is dominating over 'Saiyaara' and even the other two new releases. Mahavtar Narsimha dominates over other releases on Saturday As per early estimates from Sacnilk at Saturday night, 'Mahavtar Narsimha' has collected Rs 15 crore at the box office on its day 9 which is second Saturday. This is huge. It had made only Rs 4.6 crore on its first Saturday. The total collection of the film so far in all languages, is Rs 67.95 crore. It has performed the best in Hindi language. Meanwhile, as per the same website, 'Son Of Sardaar 2' has made Rs 7.50 crore as per early estimates. 'Dhadak 2' made Rs 3.75 crore on Saturday. Meanwhile, 'Saiyaara' has collected Rs 6.35 crore on its day 16. All these are the early estimates on Saturday night. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Thailand: New Container Houses (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search ads Search Now Undo The total collection of 'Saiyaara' now stands at Rs 291.35 crore. If the film sees growth on Sunday, it will be able to cross Rs 300 crore or that would happen on Monday. According to Box Office India, Dhadak (2018) earned nearly ₹9 crore nett on its first day, but that's not a fair comparison since it had hugely popular music backing it. Movies like this aren't really about opening-day numbers—they rely more on how they perform in the days that follow. That's very different from a film like Son of Sardaar 2, where a strong day one is absolutely key. But that unfortunately did not happen as there's been low buzz surrounding this Ajay Devgn starrer.
