Shepton Mallet Lido announces series of full moon swims for 2025 season
Shepton Mallet Lido has announced a series of full moon swims for the 2025 season.
The lido will host late-night swimming sessions for each full moon from May to September.
The late-night sessions will take place on Monday, May 12, Wednesday, June 11, Thursday, July 10, Saturday, August 9, and Sunday, September 7.
Tickets for the sessions can be booked at fusion-lifestyle.com/centres/shepton-mallet-lido.
Each session will run from 8pm until 11pm, except on Saturday, Auguest 9, when the lido will remain open until midnight.
A spokesperson for the Lido said: "This year, we will be making an addition to the timetable with a series of full moon swims - a chance for locals to enjoy the moment in a unique way, with a tranquil swim by the light of the moon.
"We invite local swimmers to embrace the night rather than battle with bedtime with a refreshing and relaxing moonlight dip."
