Following it up in the first of the three ODIs against England, Matthews was also at her all-round best - picking up two wickets and 48 runs in the fixture.

Tyron compiled 176 runs from three ODIs across the month, averaging 58.66, while also nabbing six wickets at an economy of just 5.
The 31-year-old all-rounder was particularly impressive in South Africa's final outing of the tri-series against hosts Sri Lanka.
With the Proteas batting first, Tyron's 74 helped her side past the 300-run mark to a staggering total.
With the ball, the left-arm orthodox spinner then went on to seize her first-ever ODI five-wicket haul - finishing with figures of 5/34.
The Indian batting maestro was on song during India's triumphant tri-series in Sri Lanka.
Rodrigues amassed 204 runs from the final three fixtures, including the summit clash against Sri Lanka, to help India to a statement win with the Women's Cricket World Cup at home on the horizon.
The elegant right-handed batter produced a remarkable performance against South Africa in the run to the final.
Having scored her maiden ODI ton earlier this year, Rodrigues went on to score her second in the format, stitching together 123 runs off 101 deliveries, which included 15 fours and a six.
In the final against Sri Lanka, Rodrigues produced a crucial knock off 44 to help India to a commanding total, and eventually a 97-run win.

Former Australia test captain Bob Simpson, who ushered in the country's modern-day golden era of cricket as its coach, has died aged 89, Cricket Australia said on Saturday. Simpson played 62 tests between 1957 and 1978, scoring 4,869 runs, including 10 hundreds, and claimed 71 wickets with his leg spin following his debut on a tour of South Africa. Simpson, one of the greatest slip fielders the game has ever seen, initially retired from the game in 1968 before returning as test captain at the age of 41 after several front-line Australian players had joined the World Series Cricket in 1977. "Bob Simpson was one of the greats of Australian cricket, and this is a sad day for anyone fortunate to have watched him play or who benefited from his wisdom," said Cricket Australia Chair Mike Baird. "As a brilliant opening batter, incredible slips fielder and handy spin bowler, Bob was a mainstay of a very strong Australian team in the 1960s, and he became a leader across the game as Australian and New South Wales captain and as a coach." "Bob's decision to come out of retirement to successfully lead the Australian team during the advent of World Series Cricket in 1977 was a wonderful service to the game, and his coaching set the foundation for a golden generation for Australian cricket." As coach, Simpson is credited with instilling discipline in an Australia side led by Allan Border, which went on to win the 1987 World Cup and regained both the Ashes and the Frank Worrell Trophy. Leg-spin great Shane Warne called Simpson the best coach he played under and someone who helped his development. Simpson also coached Lancashire and the Netherlands and worked as a consultant with the Indian team in the late 1990s. "Bob Simpson's extraordinary service to Australian cricket spanned generations," Prime Minister Anthony Albanese wrote on X. "As a player, captain and then era-defining coach, he set the highest of standards for himself and the champions he led. He will be long remembered by the game he loved."

Maxwell flourishes as Australia ramp up T20 World Cup prep
Opening up on his match-winning effort, Maxwell termed it 'nerve-wracking' and offered credit where its due to the Proteas bowlers. "It was a little bit nerve wracking," he said post-match. "I think when we lost a couple of wickets in a row, Corbin Bosch bowled a brilliant over to sort of keep the run rate sort of near nine or ten and we were down the two wickets and I probably had to do the majority of the striking but, yeah, it was it was nice to get a couple out of the middle right near the end." The 36-year-old added that fighting out a win against a team of South Africa's pedigree provides a major boost to the team morale heading into the ICC T20 World Cup next year in the sub-continent. "We've had a great run with this T20 group. To have another series win against a quality opposition in South African is great for our confidence heading forward. "There's still about 13-14 internationals before the T20 World Cup and we are building something really nice in this group. It's certainly a very fun change room to be in and I am enjoying every moment."
