'Call Her Daddy' host Alex Cooper is alleging she was sexually harassed by her soccer coach while at Boston University.
Her new Hulu documentary 'Call Her Alex,' which was released overnight, brings you through her life as she goes through early childhood and her journey to become one of the most famous podcasters.
The first episode focuses on Cooper's time at Boston University, where she was on a full soccer scholarship.
Cooper says ex-coach Nancy Feldman became fixated on her and engaged in uncomfortable and sometimes sexual conversations both in private and in front of teammates.
'I experienced something extremely painful; it was all taken away from me,' the trailer says.
Cooper says she went to the school with her claims and was listened to, but was brushed off.
No one from BU was in the episode. Cooper says she spoke out because she believes abuse is still happening at the school.
Boston 25 has reached out to Boston University but has not heard back.
Cooper started 'Call Her Daddy' in 2018, and it has become a cultural phenomenon known for discussions on women's relationships, sex, and empowerment.

Disney to make final payment of $439 million for full control of Hulu

Disney will pay Comcast's NBC Universal almost $439 million for its stake in Hulu, The Associated Press reported. The transaction gives Disney complete ownership of Hulu, allowing for more integration with the Disney+ streaming service. It comes after an initial payment of $8.61 billion in December 2023, which was part of the agreed-upon $27.5 billion floor value set in 2019. As for the final decision made on Monday, Disney will pay the remaining $438.7 million to acquire Comcast's stake in Hulu. The acquisition is expected to close by July 24. 'Completing the Hulu acquisition paves the way for a deeper and more seamless integration of Hulu's general entertainment content with Disney+ and, soon, with ESPN's direct-to-consumer product, providing an unrivaled value proposition for consumers,' Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement. Comcast gave up its authority to Disney in 2019, becoming a silent partner. Hulu started in 2007, quickly becoming a popular streaming service. Disney joined in 2009, planning to offer shows from ABC, ESPN and the Disney Channel. A decade later, Disney gained majority control of the business when it acquired 21st Century Fox. Sunken ship found during search for missing fishing vessel off Cape Cod

Crews searching off Cape Cod for a missing fishing vessel two days overdue have located a sunken vessel. A boater contacted Brewster Fire and Rescue just before 2:00 p.m. to report a sunken ship around two miles north of the Brewster shoreline, Brewster police chief Heath Eldredge said. Members of Massachusetts State Police and Massachusetts Environmental Police arrived at the location of the sunken ship and took control of the investigation. The F/V Seahorse was last known to be fishing near the Target Ship Wreck near Eastham and was due back in port on Sunday. The Coast Guard said a cell phone ping last placed the ship two miles offshore of Chatham. The vessel is captained by Shawn Arsenault and Orleans police said two people are believed to have been on board at the time the vessel departed. More information will be provided by the Cape Cod and Islands District Attorney's Office. This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available. Disney to Pay Comcast $438.7M for Full Hulu Ownership, Ending Valuation Dispute

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) is one of the best Dow stocks to invest in. The company has agreed to pay Comcast $438.7 million to buy out its remaining stake in the streaming service Hulu, ending a lengthy appraisal process. In 2023, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) announced its plan to acquire Comcast's 33% share of Hulu, paying $8.6 billion based on a minimum value of $27.5 billion that the companies had agreed on in 2019. This move wasn't unexpected, as reports had indicated Disney's intention to gain full control of Hulu. The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) had originally acquired a two-thirds stake in Hulu through its purchase of Fox Corp.'s entertainment assets. After the initial payment, Disney and Comcast entered an appraisal process initially set to finish in 2024. The deal is expected to be finalized by July 24. Disney CEO Bob Iger made the following statement: 'We are pleased this is finally resolved. We have had a productive partnership with NBCUniversal, and we wish them the best of luck.' Meanwhile, The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) has started merging Hulu with its other streaming services, which are also bundled with ESPN+, its sports streaming platform. While we acknowledge the potential of DIS as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk.
