Body found behind Mass. high school, with foul play suspected in man's death
The body of a 39-year-old man was found behind Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, leaving investigators to suspect foul play factored in his death, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III's office said.
Early Wednesday morning, Taunton police detectives and Massachusetts State Police assigned to Quinn's office began an investigation after a man's body was found in a construction area behind the high school, Quinn's office said in a statement.
So far, investigators have determined that there is no threat to the public, the statement read. The man is not believed to have any connection with the high school.
The man's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
The investigation remains ongoing.
