High-speed chase ends with arrest of suspects wanted in Chicago officer-involved shooting

RIVERDALE, Ill. – Two people wanted in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Chicago are in custody after leading police officers on a high-speed chase Monday afternoon through the south suburbs.
The Riverdale Police Department said officers spotted a vehicle wanted in connection with an 'officer-involved shooting of some sort' in Chicago. Officers pursued the vehicle through Chicago and back down I-94 into Glenwood.

SkyCam 9 flew over the chase and saw both suspects get out of the vehicle and run away. SkyCam 9 then saw one of the suspects being taken into custody. A short time later, police confirmed the second suspect who ran from the vehicle was in custody.
Police said two guns, believed to be fully automatic, were recovered.
According to Riverdale police, both suspects are currently at the Riverdale Police Department on a multitude of charges.

Detectives with the Chicago Police Department are also on scene and investigating for their incident, according to authorities.
